I wish my job was hanging out and having fun ($1000/hr)
something you may need to hear today:
if you’re young and you have a chronic illness, you are most likely in a different stage of life than your friends. Not a better or worse one, just a different one, and that is okay.
K-drama posters redesigned as movie posters.
(support my works x x ?)
Listen up, fellas, cold and arrogant chaebol heirs are OUT, soft and capable diamonds in the rough who talk about their feelings and have awesome cooking skills are IN.
I feel FATIGUED like send her to the seaside for her health type fatigue
Chronic illness pet peeve: always being put in a position where I feel the need to put on a brave face and comfort other people about how well I am or am not doing, instead of receiving the emotional support it would be so nice to have when things are particularly miserable and frustrating.
Sarah Walker + Favorite Outfits (Season 1)
Yvonne Strahovski is styled by Jake Terrey in ‘Blessed’, lensed by Philippa Moroney for Vogue Australia July 2018./ Hair by Koh; makeup by Peter Beard
Stunning pictures of Yvonne…flawless, elegant, and perfect.
When someone tells you tumeric will cure your RA
my rheumatologist asked me to drink turmeric with milk....
Reblog if your immune system is trying to destroy you
My joints are snap, crackle, and popping like a bowl of rice crispies.
Shoutout to everybody whose trauma, mental illness, chronic illness etc. will stay with them for life. Some things will never entirely heal; sometimes recovery is only possible until a certain point.
We can also be happy with our lives. We may not ever be completely and entirely healthy, but we can reach a point where we can be okay at least. We deserve happiness, love and support just as much as anyone else does.
We will be okay.

i know like the whole entire concept of a chronic illness is that it’s not gonna get better or go away but like damn thinking about being this physically sick until i die is rlly upsetting
Hate that feeling of having to downplay how you’re feeling in order to make it more palatable for others. When you’re experiencing higher pain levels than normal and that kind of full body fatigue that makes you feel just heavy and achy and down and they’re like, well what’s helped before?
And don’t really understand that nothing much helps and you just have to ride it out but would just like some validation and comfort and empathy in the meantime instead of attempts to solve a situation that can’t be solved or bring positivity to a situation that isn’t positive
And your mind just wants you to say “it’s okay, I’m okay” to make it easier for them even though it’s not easy for you because you know that others tend to end up getting annoyed with hearing you complain about something that isn’t going away, it gets tiresome to them and they don’t understand that it’s far more than tiresome for you to be always living with something to complain about
