While reading a solar return chart sometimes i tend to look at both placidus and whole sign because they're both very interesting in different ways, I find placidus being so much more relatable with people in their solar returns
North Node in a solar return chart is one of the most important places to look after imo, because it shows in which direction your life takes/goes for during that period/year, is a good placement to check esp if you feel like you have been struggling
NN in the 10th house - IMPORTANT shows new take in life, new path, something changing, pioneering position
NN in the 12th house - IMPORTANT it shows more self isolation and emotional retreat, the native might be tired/drained in that year, showing is time to take a break
NN in the 7th house - relationships can change, not only romantic ones but ALL will change, you'll open your eyes and see the reality of how some of these relationships will end
Your Saturn placement might show the specific karma you have for that year based on the house and sign, if it happens to be in the same sign as your natal chart that can be seen as a new path for life and breaking old habits
Saturn in the 4th house - karma related to family
Saturn in the 6th house - karma related to health, jobs, work, enemies, some people might come back
Saturn in the 8th house - debt is getting paid, either you reach to them..or they to you, the native is tied emotionally
Sun in the 8th house in a solar return chart can indicate a year where the native changes constantly, they can be more vulnerable emotionally in that period but also more sensible to their environment
Lilith in the 1st house or Lilith in Aries can indicate that you might feel targeted, you might feel like people have something with you in that year for no reason
Moon in the 5th house can indicate emotional fulfillment, a rollercoaster of feeling, more creative during that year, can pursue something new, might experience a short breath of crushes
Chiron in the 5th/7th houses..pls protect yourself when you have such placements in a solar return chart because they can indicate heartbreak, breakups, rejection, ghosting, love-boming and more
The house where your sun is in a solar return chart can show the main focus for that period/year in your life:
5th house: arts, hobbies, starting new, having a new passion for something
6th house: job searching, health, working, taking care of your body
Pluto in the 12th house in a solar return chart can indicate a year/period that can be draining for the native, they can be more isolating, protecting their peace or simply not knowing where their lives are going
Pluto in the 3rd house can indicate a year where you'll be more powerful with words, you can hurt people too so be careful what words you use. Is a very blunt/honest placement
Part of Fortune in the 7th house can be a marriage indicator, might get invited to some wedding/s, proposed to, engaged, and more ofc it wont apply to everyone these are just general
Juno asteroid aspecting the ascendant/conj the ascendant can indicate being more attractive that year and being considered someones type/partner, dont settle down though live ur life first
Juno asteroid in the 7H/aspecting the descendant can indicate chances are high for meeting a potential partner, maybe even getting married for those are waiting on it
Venus aspecting Neptune (also in tight orbs) can indicate fake illusions around love, someome might play with your feelings, or with your trust, someone might not be true to their feelings
Part of Fortune in the 10th house in a solar return chart might indicate good luck with the choosen career of the native, might prosper during that period and gettings lots of help
Part of Fortune in the 2nd house is a reallt great placement for 2 things, getting more confident in yourself and it helps with your body and you might get more money/a boost in that period
Uranus in the 4th house in a solar return tells us that the relationship at its core between family members can change drastically, randomly arguing, drama, changings
Uranus in the 9th house in a solar return might influence your school years, (if you're in an educational system) if not, traveling might be involved, delayed flights, things might not work out
Sun in the 11th house is one of the best solar placements in a return chart, because it indicates expanding your network, getting to know other people, making yourself more known in the world
Mars in the 3rd house in a solar chart can indicate the native might get more confident (especially if mars is in fire signs), more social, can improve their skills and experience, sometimes gets better
Moon - Saturn aspects (both harsh and good) can indicate getting more mature on an emotional level, like life kinda forces you to grow up more and more and it will help you so much in the end
Neptune in the 9th house, this is a really great time to travel, visit places, go back to places you haven't been in a while, reconnect with yourself, find your faith again
Sun conjuct Neptune, very obsessive energy for the year, the native is always focused on something, they want and crave something for a while but with this conj they may go crazy about it
South Node in the 4th house, in a solar return this indicate distancing from family, if you have lived in a toxic environment then this is a good chance to do so, but this also indicates relatives from your past might reach out
South Node in Aquarius can indicate leaving something behind and starting something new within that year and period, it can be friends - related
Lilith in Aquarius/11th house can indicate getting in more conflicts with people, fighting or arguing more than usual with your friends
The first solar return for 2026! Stay tuned ♡ And Happy Leo Season ♡♡♡♡♡

To understand Medusa in astrology, it is important to discuss her true story. In Greek mythology, Medusa is remembered as the Gorgon whose gaze could turn people to stone, but her story is much more complex than that. In many later tellings of the myth, Medusa began as a beautiful mortal who was assaulted by Poseidon in Athena's temple and was ultimately punished for what happened to her, transforming into the very creature history would come to fear. She was later beheaded by Perseus, yet even in death her head retained immense protective power, appearing on shields, armor, temples, and sacred objects as a symbol capable of warding off evil. Over the centuries, Medusa has evolved into an enduring symbol of survival, transformation, unjust blame, and the power that can emerge after profound betrayal.
Asteroid Medusa (149) represents the parts of ourselves that became shaped by projection, betrayal, survival, and the stories other people told about us. Contrary to the popular image of Medusa as simply a monster, her mythology is rooted in transformation after injustice, so in astrology, this asteroid is less about revenge and much more interested in what happens when pain from trauma changes the way we move in the world. In astrology, Medusa can describe where we experience being misunderstood, unfairly judged, envied, scapegoated, or treated as though we're more threatening than we actually are. It also reveals where we develop powerful emotional armor, reclaim our voice, and eventually learn that other people's projections are not the same thing as our identity. While every chart expresses Medusa differently depending on its sign, house, aspects, and overall chart context, this asteroid often points toward the place where surviving something difficult eventually becomes one of our greatest sources of strength and protection.
In this deep dive, I will be focusing on Medusa through the houses/signs/degrees in your chart! Let's get into it.
Channeled song:
Medusa in Aries / 1st House / 1°, 13°, 25°
People like to attack your character a lot, and from an unreasonably young age too. People could have found you to be too hotheaded, too energetic, or just “too much” in general. Things could have become much worse for you when you would try to stand out, actually. You might have learned very early in life that existing confidently was enough to make the people around you uncomfortable. You might even feel like people would prefer you to play small so that they feel better about themselves. Saying no or going against the grain in any way in your life could have caused a lot of issues and problems, especially in personal relationships, and this could literally look like people treating you differently once you assert your autonomy. It is unfortunate that the more authentic you become, the more people will feel triggered and threatened by you, and the more they will try to shatter your confidence. Psychologically speaking, you might feel like being visible is too scary, and you could be rejected by everybody due to these earlier life experiences where you were rejected by the ones who should have praised you instead of turning their backs on you or abusing you or only catering to your needs if you were performing a certain way. The thing about this placement, though, is that you are given a lot of power to change your circumstances and to change the way people publicly receive you. As you get older, you become an authority figure and an expert in whatever it is that you're interested in, you are taking very seriously, and you are well respected. The problem is that this is all earned; you have to take a chance on yourself and push back at adversaries who will try to tear out your confidence. For you, healing looks like truly fighting for what is important and speaking your truth. People like to project their inferiority complex onto you, and it is so unfair. You are in competitions you don't even know exist. You are being talked about, slandered, and smeared in rooms with people who saw you at your lowest. The way that you are confident, fearless, determined, and independent makes people insecure.
Medusa in Taurus / Medusa in the 2nd House / Medusa at 2°, 14°, 26°
People like to project envy onto you, especially over the things that you have or what they find valuable. People feel inadequate around you, and that is because you are just mature, organized, and live a balanced life (or try to). You are steadfast, and you know how to commit to yourself; other people are very uncomfortable with this when it comes to you. People also like to project a lot of limiting self-beliefs and insecurities onto you. Perhaps when you were younger, people attacked you for your weight, your facial features, your clothes, etc., but the whole time, they had the exact thing that they were teasing you about. If people find you attractive, they weaponize that against you by making inappropriate comments about how you must enjoy sexual attention from the opposite sex (even if that's not true), or they say hurtful things about how opportunities were given to you because you're attractive, diminishing your hard work and effort. When you feel good about yourself, people feel horrible about themselves, so they project that onto you very easily. Psychologically, it could be very damaging because you might equate self-love with disrupting the general peace in your environment. You might feel like every time you do something nice for yourself, other people get upset or frustrated, and that holds you back. Sometimes people just say mean things that make you lose the desire to keep up with your self-care routine. What you probably struggle with the most is people getting too invested in your business, your wallet, and your personal relationships. You could feel like you're the hot topic, even if you just try to mind your business. Healing comes when you decide that you're done being the cop-out for people; you're done letting people water down your success because they're insecure; and you're done feeling like you have to box in your beauty to make other people feel okay about themselves. The more that you love yourself and physically show that you love yourself, the more people want to break that self-concept of yours.
Medusa in Gemini / Medusa in the 3rd House / Medusa at 3°, 15°, 27°
You were punished for speaking your truth when you were a child. You lived a life full of contradictions from the moment you came into the world. One parent told you that truth and honesty were the highest virtues, and the other parent punished you if you told the truth about something—or you were taught one thing and shown another—which ultimately confused your developing brain. When you were in situations where you felt like you had to tell the truth, you were also really afraid of what that would result in because, whenever you would speak your mind, you were punished. You were either isolated from your community, punished/grounded from seeing your friends for an extended period of time, humiliated by your peers or close relatives, or bullied by your siblings. Usually, whatever the truth was came with some form of punishment, and psychologically, you might worry about what telling your truth could result in, even to this day. People projected intellectual inferiority onto you; you were probably smarter than your parents, let’s be completely honest. If you weren’t (or you don’t feel that way), you probably communicated more healthily than your parents, and this was always seen as a threat—not just with them, but with other adults. You may have trouble speaking your truth, but you don’t fear speaking up and defending others, so people could also heavily dislike the fact that you are a fighter, a warrior spirit, and somebody who will fight for the underdog. You may have a vastly different mindset from your family, and this could look like having different political views, different religious or spiritual views, etc. You might just be an evolutionist, and they are flat-earthers. It all depends on your personal experience. Nonetheless, people could have wanted to make you feel stupid so that you don’t talk—because when you talk, your truth comes with conviction, and people believe you. As you heal, your voice becomes your greatest tool. Your voice becomes a weapon.
Medusa in Cancer / Medusa in the 4th House / Medusa at 4°, 16°, 28°
Unfortunately, adults in your early life could have seen you as a cheap shot or an easy target for emotional abuse. People tend to project their fear of vulnerability onto you in the worst ways. In your childhood, you could have definitely felt like you were the family punching bag or the family therapist because so many people heavily relied on you to get through their emotional storms, even if you were just a little child. People also took out their aggression on you because you were soft, sincere, and empathetic. You loved, and you loved, and you loved, and people only felt frustration about that—sometimes even bitterness. Medusa here shows that a person has been wrongfully deemed the black sheep of the family, or just the one that needs to take on all of the emotional burdens of the entire household. People would not like it when you would stick up for yourself and say no, or tell people that you don't want to be spoken to a certain way, called certain names, or treated a certain way. Usually, doing so resulted in some kind of punishment or retaliation. Your mother could have been one of the main caretakers to inflict this sort of emotional pain onto you, or they witnessed these things happening, and their not stepping in to stop it hurt more than the person who was doing it to you, if that makes sense. Psychologically, you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders from a very young age. You're burdened by heavy responsibilities that you shouldn't have had so young, so as you grow, you might notice that you aren't sure what you really want because all of the things that you should have been doing in adulthood, you probably already did in your childhood. You might spend a lot of time wondering what your life looks like outside of your family home, and that could be a wound in itself, especially if you have a hard time forming your own concept of home in general. People deeply resent the fact that they can't love as unconditionally as you can, nor can they forgive as fully as you can. There are no excuses for mistreatment, but with this placement, a lot of you will be scapegoated for other people's problems. Your greatest power is your empathy, but you must have boundaries; otherwise, people will not know when to stop emotionally pushing you.
Medusa in Leo / Medusa in the 5th House / Medusa at 5°, 17°, 29°
Oh, people love to project narcissism onto you. People love to make you look like the villainous red velvet vixen version of you that they have in their minds, even if you are just being you. You have been shamed, slandered, and embarrassed since you were a kid, specifically when you were showing up in the world. You could have been the kid that just wanted some attention; wanted to be appreciated; or wanted to be seen for who they are, and your parents made you feel like you were asking for too much if they watched your fashion show trying on new clothes or if they watched your made-up dance routine, etc. It was not just your parents; it seems like other adults in your life really disliked your visibility and disliked how other people admired you. Unfortunately, yeah—you might have dealt with jealous ass adults, which is very weird and confusing, I’m sure. People could have projected nefarious opinions onto you, painting you to be different than you actually are. For instance, Medusa here can show innocence being taken away, and because the fifth house and Leo energy is all about childhood, childlike nature, and fun… something in your childhood could have been disrupted where you had to grow up too fast, and whatever that situation was seemed to be a point of contention with other adults in your life. Adults could have made you feel uncomfortable about expressing yourself, either because they didn't like you when you were being loud and boisterous, or because they sexualized you. Psychologically, you might not have felt comfortable just being you if you weren't performing, because people have made so many premeditated judgments about you at such a young age. You feel like you “perform” to spare yourself from the pain of being judged negatively. As you have gotten older and you heal, you step into your power, and you are authentically you. Medusa here really brings justice in the form of creativity, creation, fun, and life-fulfilling experiences. Your greatest power is channeling your hurt and pain into your art, and transmuting that judgment into accolades.
Medusa in Virgo / Medusa in the 6th House / Medusa at 6°, 18°
You suffer from a sense of professionalism that stems from people projecting incompetence onto you. Unfortunately, it might have felt like you weren't allowed to make mistakes in your childhood. Maybe there was one mistake that you made that resulted in a significantly unreasonable punishment, and that left you with a perpetual state of fear or anxiety about making another mistake. You definitely got the impression that people only valued you when you were doing something for them, when you were being of service, or when you were being selfless. People liked it when you said yes and went along with whatever you had to do, even if you didn't want to do it. I don't think “no” was allowed in your household. On top of this, people expected you to be perfect at whatever it was that you had to do. Mistakes were not allowed and, like I mentioned, one experience could have caused you to intentionally avoid making any mistakes. Psychologically, you could feel like you have OCD. I am not diagnosing based on this single post, but this is what YOU can feel about yourself. You really struggle with accepting that you have done enough for the day, you have given enough, and you have shown up enough for others. Resting feels very hard for you because, again, you weren't really given the option to rest; if you were resting, people would call you lazy and useless or be very hurtful with their words. Medusa here sort of looks like being stripped of a regular routine, a normal upbringing, or the right to learn in general. When Medusa is in the sixth house or in Virgo, pain comes in the form of verbal abuse, mental abuse, psychological abuse, etc. You might become a perfectionist so that you can avoid such experiences, even if you are creating a plethora of other problems from your perfectionism. Unfortunately, you might unintentionally attract coworkers, friends, romantic partners, supervisors, etc. who become obsessed with fixing you, correcting you, monitoring you, or pointing out your flaws. On top of that, you might feel like you're not really allowed to make mistakes because your mistakes are always brought up again as a point of reference for why others find you incompetent. You reclaim your power when you tell people to f off and mean it. Your power comes from detachment and from becoming selfish when that would have otherwise felt foreign to you.
Medusa in Libra / Medusa in the 7th House / Medusa at 7°, 19°
People are so gross with you and I am so sorry. From childhood, people definitely projected inappropriate desires onto you. You could have heard stories where adults have said oversexualized things about you when you were young, or made comments about how you were a heartthrob or going to make “a man very happy one day” 🤢 Bottom line, things that were said about you were honestly probably disgusting and inappropriate at any age but especially when you were a minor. This doesn't really change as you grow because as you get older, you might find that people judge you based on what people have said about you. People judge you based on what they think about you, and who they think you've been with, how many “bodies” you have, or some other gross thing that they've heard about you. What is really sick is that while they are misjudging you and basically putting a big letter A on your chest, they are also fantasizing about being with you. People will definitely punish you for their own gross thoughts about you and somehow make you immoral. Medusa here shows that the native is stripped of their social grace by others' opinions or actions. People will also say things like you are two-faced, manipulative, and too flirty, just to get people to see you in a negative light. TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ you could have also suffered from SA from a partner, other sexually violating actions or coercion. Psychologically, you might not really feel comfortable or safe enough to trust relationships or any interpersonal connection because of your terrible past experiences, specifically in romance and commitment. You will question people's motives if you are unfazed and unwilling to trust. You might be used to partners putting unrealistic expectations on you, so when somebody comes around and shows you genuine love, it might feel like a trap. With this placement, it is important to have boundaries with people because people can also become unreasonably attached and dependent on your attention, but when you don't give them all of your attention, they can become very cold. Healing comes when you move forward and choose yourself and not entertain lower vibrational people who want you for superficial reasons.
Medusa in Scorpio / Medusa in the 8th House / Medusa at 8°, 20°
Oh, the traumas. You have seen it all, unfortunately. With Medusa in Scorpio, or in the 8th house or in a Scorpio degree…Medusa shows that security and safety were stripped away from the person from a very young age. In your case, this could look like growing up in a volatile situation with aggressive parents who fought all the time. This could look like a sudden loss in your family or loss of a parent that forever changed you because of the nature of their death. This could look like your family going into major financial crisis or filing for bankruptcy, and that causing its own issues, etc. It's sort of like an open field when Medusa is here, and what really makes things difficult is that people project secrecy onto you. People want you to shut up about everything that you're seeing, feeling, and experiencing. You might feel like you have this heavy burden on your heart all the time and in childhood because you were carrying so many secrets that weren't even yours. Now, with Medusa here, you could either have experienced something very traumatic that ultimately makes you feel unstable in some way, or you could just be a part of a collective experience that is traumatic, like something happening to your family, something happening to your parents that indirectly affects you, etc. Either way, you are seen as somebody who has to keep their mouth shut and also somebody who isn't fully trustworthy or trusted. Adults could have seen you as a liar even if they were the same adults who taught you how to lie. Adults could feel like there's something hidden, but I need the surface with you and could have projected their own lack of trust onto you. Ultimately, you weren't really treated like a kid, and if you were, you were expected not to speak unless spoken to like one. Psychologically, you really struggle with trusting yourself because these situations might not have ever come to a resolution or granted you any closure. Nor have you ever really gotten the truth of what you experienced. There's always some murky Waters when it comes to what really happened during specific points in your life. As you heal, you let yourself trust the right people, and you don't let yourself miss out on New experiences. I think with this placement specifically, you really struggle with permitting yourself to just be in the moment without constantly thinking about the next dramatic thing that's going to happen in your life because you might feel like things change all the time, too much. Sometimes it's okay to live in the now even if you know that what's going on right now can change in the blink of an eye.
Medusa in Sagittarius / Medusa in the 9th House / Medusa at 9°, 21°
People love to project arrogance and know-it-all energy onto you. I'm going to be so honest with you: you were surrounded by a bunch of idiots growing up. Like just straight up textbook dummies. They despise how smart you are, especially from a very young age. You enjoyed reading actual books and learning something, and you were vastly different from the people in your family; that's for sure, but this is what you were punished for. Medusa here strips you of your freedom to be you and to learn and to be curious and to explore. It almost felt like somebody was trying to put you in a box in your childhood. You weren't allowed to ask questions about different things like different religions or different cultures or different types of people, and it made you feel very aware of the fact that you were missing out on knowing what the “outside world” was really like, due to somebody enforcing their beliefs onto you. You were punished for being different and for wanting different, and it only got worse with age. People would project a superiority complex onto you, making you feel guilty just for trying to share something that you learned with somebody. Instead of embracing A New perspective or new information, people wanted you to feel like you were belittling everybody. Everything that you said or did was taken as an attack and made people very defensive because the specific people were set on misunderstanding you and misunderstanding your intentions. When somebody doesn't want to understand you, they won't, and there's nothing that you can do to change their mind. Things get worse when you start to push back on beliefs that you don't agree with that your family follows; you will be either ostracized or deemed as sort of immoral, depending on the situation. Psychologically, you struggle with wanting to be free and doing what you want to do while also wondering if you got it all wrong in the first place, and everybody else is right. There is like an inner conflict that you deal with early on in life specifically about what direction you want to take, if you want to go down familiar paths or if you want to give something new a chance. Growth comes from you getting the hell out of whatever limiting situation you come from. You will never live to your fullest potential if you don't leave the place that hurt you or the place that made you feel small. You might find that when you travel or get a higher education, people will still try to box you in, but the farther you separate yourself from these individuals, the stronger your self-assertion becomes. Healing comes in the form of education, new cultural experiences, delicious foods in different countries, and experiences that do not limit you.
Medusa in Capricorn / Medusa in the 10th House / Medusa at 10°, 22°
You might have noticed that people like to project dominance and authority over you, and it has honestly felt so unnecessary. In your childhood or early life, people intentionally did not want to see you for who you really were. They wanted to see you as aggressive, rowdy, intolerant, cold etc., simply because you were ambitious and wanted more for yourself. With Medusa here, your idea of stability and security was stripped away from you from a very materialistic standpoint. Your parents or guardians were just not up to the standard that they needed to be to raise you efficiently, and you might have felt like you had to take on a lot of their responsibility because they refused. What seems really frustrating about this placement is that being you at a young age was a very thankless job. You were the go-to person for everything, while simultaneously being told that you wouldn't amount to anything, or that you were wanting too much out of the world. Sometimes all you would want is affection or new clothes or food or rest, and your Guardians made you feel like you were asking for the sun, moon, and the stars. You could psychologically struggle with assigning importance to certain things in your life, even as an adult. You struggle with taking care of yourself because once upon a time, somebody told you that you weren't hurt when you were visibly crying and needed to go to the doctor. Or, they made you feel like your problems were small and insignificant, so you struggle making appointments or finding solutions to your ailments, or doing things that make you feel Independent, but this is because these things were shamed when you tried to do them in the past. Of course, as you heal, it is important to embrace the fact that you are human; you are not a robot or a machine…you require rest, and you require breaks now and then. You also require self-care, and you deserve that. You heal when you prioritize yourself, and when you set/achieve your goals without guilt and without feeling like somebody is going to rain on your parade. You might deal with bosses, CEOs, or just coworkers that demand a lot from you, have higher expectations for you than others, or just make you feel like you have to go above and beyond. Unfortunately, when you do succeed and when you do climb that social or professional ladder, people will definitely try to humble you or point out your flaws, but Medusa gives you an exceptional strength to not only ignore the haters but also get things done with speed.
Medusa in Aquarius / Medusa in the 11th House / Medusa at 11°, 23°
Others have projected a lot of weirdness on you, even from a young age. Weirdness and arrogance were probably what was mostly projected onto you. People didn't really want to get to know you or figure you out, so instead, they labeled you as odd, different, and strange. You could have had multiple experiences in life where you felt misunderstood, judged just because you're different than other people or have different interests. It could be extremely frustrating that others would rather see your differences as a problem rather than something to be celebrated, especially because you would celebrate others. When you were younger, you might have felt like you couldn't really ask too many questions, or you couldn't have too many emotional conversations with the people around you because they were very stern, too realistic, or just emotionally unavailable. Emotions in general weren't really discussed at the dinner table, so you felt like you had to swallow a lot of what you were feeling. Not only did you feel like an outsider at school, but you felt like one at home because you couldn't connect with your parents, and they really could not connect with you. Psychologically, you might have felt like the reason why you don't have many friends or why you can't really stay in a friend group for too long has more to do with you than it actually does. You can overthink your actions, your different interests, and the way that you show up in the world way too much, to the point where you might be obsessed with how you “come off” to others because you have seen such erratic and random reactions from different people when they interact with you. You also struggle trusting others when they tell you how they feel or think about you because in friendships, you could've had a lot of wounds. Your friends could have really made you feel like you found your soul community in a way, all for them to really not like you, distrust you, or even hate you. Medusa here makes you the scapegoat in your group of friends or in society. You could be a victim of gang stalking from these people, or have friends who have a mob-like mentality. You could deal with issues from “mean girls “ or bullies who pretend to be your friend. You truly heal when you decide that your individuality and standing out is what makes you, you…and you're not going to sacrifice any bit of your originality for somebody else. Once you learn that people feel deeply uncomfortable with truly doing what they want to do, and that not everything is so personal, you free yourself from your own limiting beliefs. You find your real circle of friends when you actually lean into your different quirks and different interests. Unfortunately, people just might not like you, but it can only affect you if you let it.
Medusa in Pisces / Medusa in the 12th House / Medusa at 12°, 24°, 0°
People project delusional crap on to you. The problem is that people just don't see you for who you actually are but instead see you for what their fantasy tells them that you are. People actually project things on to you that have nothing to do with who you are and everything to do with the kind of person that they are and it really confuses you as to why certain people don't like you because of this. As you were younger, you could have felt voiceless and like you had to absorb what was going on around you rather than actively participating or confidently defending/standing up for yourself. It is not uncommon that in childhood, you could have just been soaking up everything that was said about you; all of the prejudgments, false opinions, and weird projections could have confused you to the point where you didn't even know what was real or not about your own life. People blame you for things that you did not do, accuse you of things that you did not say or actions that you did not take, etc. This was because, in their eyes, you were an easy target. After all, you never spoke up, but instead absorbed and observed. I've also noticed that people like to create elaborate stories about you when they feel like you are a specific kind of person. For instance, if they have the mindset that you are a witch, they will create a whole story about how you are hexing them or hexing people, how you practice black magic, worship the devil, etc. You might not even be a witch. It is absolutely ridiculous things like that which tend to get spoken about regarding you. Medusa here could really make you feel like you had to suffer in silence, with no one to pull you out of that. Medusa here helps you with the strength to find your voice and to embrace who you are and get yourself out of the situation over time. You might feel like things don't work out for you when you are close to home. For instance, you might not be able to find or keep a job. You might find that goals do not pan out, plans get canceled, or contracts fall through when you try to adjust to limiting spaces. The more you stay in the place that causes you harm, the more vulnerable you put yourself to be coming the same emotional dumping ground that you felt like you were as a child. People cannot help but gravitate to you for your light, guidance, and wisdom, only to turn around and blame you for why the relationship ultimately did not work. Medusa here wants to teach you how to have boundaries and to stick to them because people see you as an endless source of light, and even if you are a beacon of light to others, you dim your light when you overextend yourself, especially to people who aren't even grateful for you. Life becomes significantly easier when you move.
