Weird question: Does Eridian!Grace ever get like times where he just wonders if this is all some sort of dream or nightmare he’s gonna wake up from? Or that reality simply doesn’t feel real? Like this is all too good to be true?

Just a really, really random thought I had

it takes a long time for everything to feel real. it takes a long long time to feel like himself in his new body. he spends a lot of time zoning out- observing his claws and carapace, running fingertips over himself and methodically flexing his new steam powered joints. it's not really too good to be true, just so crazy and different he has trouble rationalizing it for a bit.

thinking about how mumbo is so endlessly and effortlessly appreciative of his fellow hermits when it comes to their builds, their play style, and their points of view. his compliments always seem incredibly heartfelt and he brings an infectious curiousity to his videos in regards to why and how the hermits are doing what they're doing. I love that it's not enough for him to incorporate his interests into his videos when it comes to photography, he wants to share that genuine joy with us and them. I often come away from his videos feeling a sense of wanting to make a more conscious effort to be grateful and thoughtful of the people and world around me.

Follow up question, can your wings change color depending on the different Life Series or Hermitcraft season?

Ah yes, the wings! Well, it was neither of those things, actually.

I first got my wings back in. . . back when i was a mage. Manifested them using magic and all.

They were too small to be used though. They resembled a sparrow's wings at the time.

In Evo, i still had them. Again, too small to be used. This time they looked more like a white chicken's wings.

When i left Evo to join the Watchers, they gradually changed. Eventually they got big enough to actually be used for flight, and i got more proper avian features, like hollow bones and whatnot.

And yeah, they can change appearance. Im honestly not sure why, its a subconscious thing they do on their own. Every now and then, typically when a new season of Hermitcraft or Life Series starts, they'll slowly change to resemble different birds. Sometimes its a mix of two birds, sometimes its just one

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
