Going to the Zoo again this weekend, not going to spam people with every single animal this time. BUT if you'd like more pictures of one of them lemme know
Given my druthers, 70% of my posts would be something like "it's cool that there's macaroni and cheese," or "I'm quite fond of vanilla ice cream," or "I like clouds, but sometimes I like rain, and I'm even a fan of the sun and the moon so clear skies are good too."
I think it's really easy to get too excited about it and overuse specific words or phrasings that you know hold power over someone. It's really fun how easy it is to fluster it, cause it to forget what it was doing and start complaining, cover its face and blush, or however it reacts. But in practice, I think saving them for moments when either it isn't expecting them or when they've been built up so much that their usage is a release of tension is just very important. Overusing them can weaken the impact or make them less special, so you want each usage to be timed in such a way that strengthens their power over it. Plus also you get to feel like you're constantly holding back your power, which is awesome.
twin peaks is a show about how cool it is to cheat in heterosexual relationships
wrong!!! it’s about how fucking yummy pie and donuts are
Girls should have their body pulled around like a little marionette while their mind is fully aware and trapped inside. It's enrichment.
Recently I've been thinking a lot about the tendency where most of the time someone will just do what you tell it to do if you use the right tone and it has no reason to doubt you or suspect malfeasance. From here, I think it becomes a bit like shaping any animal.
Tell it to hold still for a second, tell it to lean in a direction, tell it to lift its head, tell it to shift to the side. Little orders, with some form of reward for each. Gradually building towards your desired result. Focus on rewarding one aspect at a time, switch targets if the prior isn't seeing results, and above all else stay ahead of your subject.
You want to have a plan in advance, but you want to reward progress as your subject sees it. You don't want to be thinking "that's not enough for me, so no reward this time", when your subject had to work hard for this minor change. As long as you have a plan, the long game is yours. Sometimes one route will close off, but as long as you've got an in you can keep going and trying new things.
And, anyway, I think broad obedience is nontrivial to attain, but a tendency to play along with a subset of tasks is enjoyable in its own right. It's a fun little game. Plus it's really hot to reposition someone freely.
this is your random reminder to CHECK IF YOU'RE STILL HAVING FUN
are you enjoying scrolling tumblr? watching youtube? reading that book? playing that game? drawing that art? doing that activity? if not,
YOU CAN STOP AND DO SOMETHING ELSE
you don't have to stick to something that you are doing for fun if it isn't fun for you anymore. You can come back! If you've loved it before you are likely to love it again! but you can stop!
Don't get stuck in a loop of doing something that you think should be fun when it isn't! You can put it down for a bit! Maybe that's the very thing that will make it fun again later!
ough i cant hang out today i think im coming down with a case of Poster’s Hole

My board game hot take is that you should probably read the rules before engaging in a sufficiently complex game(determined by your own experience) even if someone has agreed to teach you. This helps the teach stick better because you're strengthening recall memory rather than trying to commit things to memory. And knowing the rules helps the game flow and just makes things a lot more fun
