Why I love Tumblr

Speaking as a former 2011 Tumblr Girlie: Tumblr was the only social media platform that didn't feel fake. Its not about selfies, constantly showing off your life and how great it is. Its all about feelings, art and vibes. It goes so much deeper than social media trends and the constant barage of videos that have inundated all the main platforms. Video is a great way to express and show yourself to the world but it can also be obnoxious. So many new problems have arisen from this online change. For instant the rise of family channels and kidfluencers. I just watched the Piper Rockelle documentary and it broke my heart. Call me nostalgic but as an aging millenial I do miss the simplier days and that is what I love about tumblr. It brings me back to those simplier days.

Why do you guys love tumblr? What brings you here?
