How the Orc Stole Christmas
“Ha ha!” To the children the old orc was humming
they’d be finding out now no Winter’s Veil was coming
Skull and Winston, the terrible two
had stolen all the gifts, as it was their due
Now the two stood on top of Orgrimmar’s peak
The fate of Winter’s Veil looking rather bleak
“They’re just waking up I know just what they’ll do”
“All the little orcs will cry boo hoo hoo”
“That’s a noise!” Said Skull “I simply must hear”
He paused, and pointed so near
And he did hear a sound rising over the sand
It was not cries or sadness, but rather it was grand
Now this, this sound wasn’t sad
Why, this sound sounded glad!
“How could this be!” Ebenezer Skull let out with a shout!
“They have no gifts, no toys! They should all be in doubt!”
He turned to Winston, to see what he thought
And the foul words he would say, why in his throat they were caught
For the pug looked deep into Skull’s eye,
And he knew in that instance, the children would not cry
The old orc knelt down, to talk with his pug
An odd, confused look on his mug
“Perhaps it is time,” The old orc started
“That my anger and hatred has finally parted”
“There will be joy this year, that much will be true”
“And it will come down to me and to you”
So the old orc grabbed Winston so
And felt the warmth of his dog, almost like a glow
“We have gifts to deliver this fine Winter’s Veil”
And Winston’s excitement shook through to his tail
Ebenezer Skull hopped on his mount,
Winston in front, tongue lolling quite out
So the gifts were delivered, and no longer there was fright
And the old orc let out “Merry Winter’s Veil to all, and to all a good night!”
