PTSD is one of the most difficult subjects that effect so many people world wide. We have recently had a few customers asking for designs to reflect their struggle with it and it is the completely different stories, ways of coping with it and the different ways it can effect people that really came to light. This beautiful design created with inspiration from neo-traditional and art Nouveau styles was brought to life by Dawn for Andy Mattingley who had this to say - "I was looking for a tattoo design to memorialise my struggles with PTSD, I had one reflecting the incident which was easier as it existed whereas my journey would need to be a depiction. I wasn’t very helpful for Dawn as I knew what I wanted it to look like but not necessarily what all the component parts would be or how they would fit together other than that it needed to reflect dark to light and a journey. Dawn listened to what the journey entailed for me and looked at ideas and I sat back. Dawn was a genius, quite literally we made two changes to the concepts added a bit more colour to one area and my expectations were more than met. What I have come away with is a powerful piece that will quite literally allow me to wear my heart on my sleeve." When one of your artists just won't, bloody, stop!
