Since I am a chronic worldbuilder, I'm going to post my observations, theories and headcanons about the Mandalorian economy. I'll discuss the general things first, before getting into planet specific industries. I'll be using both Canon and Legends
One of the most common Mandalorian occupations is mercenary work, the Mandalorians are good at war, so it makes sense that planets wanting protection from their enemies or skilled soldiers to train their new planetary defense forces would hire them.
Military Industrial Complex:
As befitting a militaristic society, the Mandalorians have a gigantic military industrial complex, being known to produce starships of all sizes as well as small arms and equipment. The main company driving this is Mandal Motors and its subsidiaries, who I will probably discuss in more detail in a later post. Their stuff is of the highest quality, and very expensive.
Mandalore was a once a lush world of forests, mountains and jungle, and likely served as a significant producer of crops, however post Dral’han Mandalore became a desert and lost all of its agricultural viability
This one is obvious, though it should be noted that the beskar was likely traded only among the Mandalorians themselves, and not exported to outsiders.
Mandalmotors is headquartered there, and given that it was the Mandalorians homeworld and base of operations, it likely boasted a significant industrial base. Post Dral’han the Mandalorians likely focused even heavier on industry, given that they didn't have to worry about polluting the natural landscape anymore
Same as Mandalore, we see they have beskar mines, which were still operated even after Satine’s rise to power
We know that Concordia was an agricultural settlement, though I think this was just in hopes of somewhat filling the agricultural void left by the Dral’han. It certainly doesn't look like it would have good soil
Concordian Crescent Technologies, the company responsible for the WESTAR line of small arms, are probably headquartered out of Concordia.
All we know from this planet is that ships were constructed there during the Mandalorian wars, I highly doubt any orbital shipyards would have survived the Dral’han intact, so if the plane did continue building ships post Dral’han, it was likely at a much smaller scale,
We know it was a farming planet, however I doubt it still remains an agricultural base, something about having a giant chunk of your planet blasted out just doesn't seem very good for your planet’s agricultural prospects
Draboon lapis was used in the construction of Satines luxury space yacht, it is likely also used in Mandalorian jewelry
Phobium is used to make power cells and reactor lining, they likely exported it to Breshig and Mandalore, as well as to the wider galaxy
Gargon is a significant producer of spice, they even have vaults of the stuff, which was likely used to create pharmaceuticals and the adrenal combat stimulants that Canderous Ordo is so fond of.
Rugs from Harswee were used in Satine’s luxury space yacht, which means they were likely of excellent quality. Its likely the Harsweenians also made clothing, such as cloaks or capes
Firegems are rare and dangerous jewels that vibrate constantly and feel warm to the touch. If you place them near a starship's hyperdrive reactor, then the ship will explode when going into hyperspace. They were likely used in jewelry, but if anyone is going to figure out how to weaponize them, it would be the Mandalorians
Tuft Oak is a type of wood from Jakelia that was used in Satine’s luxury space yacht
It's a volcanic planet, so it likely has mineral resources
We know it has oceans, and the Mandalorians are known to enjoy Gihaal, which is dried fishmeal
A Kalevalan company built Satine’s luxury space yacht
Mandallia is home to an alcoholic beverage called Mandallian Narcoleth
Vorpa’ya is stated to be an agriworld, with lots of nerf farms dotting the landscape
It has swamps, so it might be home to some sort of space crawfish or space shrimp
The weather and climate might make Krownest useless for agriculture, but the planets native animals likely have thick fur that could be sold
It's a desert, so it might have some good minerals? Maybe even spice, which could explain Canderous Ordo’s love of adrenal stimulants. All my other ideas are complete fanon.
