FAV AOT SHIPS!
oooo ! okay, okay-
@sakuraazharuno ‘s aurora x eren.
THEY DESERVED A HAPPY ENDING.
out of mine, my favourite ships are:
cherushī ( OC ) x connie springer.
kirari yoon ( OC ) x reiner braun.
kirari yoon ( OC ) x jean kirstein… one-sided though where kirari rejects him.
sonya lagner ( OC ) x erwin smith.
but, out of canon characters !
jean kirstein x mikasa ackerman, because they are simply too cute.
i remember shipping petra ral x levi ackerman for a little while because I heard that it was implied she loved him in the manga but it was changed to admiration for him in the anime.
MOBLIT X HANGE. STOP. I ACTUALLY WANTED THEM TO END UP TOGETHER BUT NOOOO. 😭
FAV AOT AND PJO SHIPS!
Oh~ I love shipping, even if it’s just crack shipping.
My personal favorite in Attack on Titan is Eruri! They are literally married in my head. Yumihisu is really cute too and so is Eremika. Nicosasha is so comforting despite few interactions and a crack ship I really love is JeanPiku. I love being a multi shipper, like I can just get away from all the drama.
Also, I have to mention @calscollision ‘s cherushī x Connie, Kirari x Reiner and Sonya x Erwin since they are so cute!
For Percy Jackson… I’m kinda bland and will go for Percabeth. It was so nice to see them develop and I do understand it has some flaws in it. Perachel is another cute one that I like along with Valgrace. How can I forget Will and Nico too
Since I included oc x ships in the last one, I enjoy @nicosavior456 ‘s oc Chika with Reyna and @pjo-hoo-toa-freakazoid ‘ s Sebastian with Octavian.
But in the end, I love almost every ship and am willing to hear other people opinions on them,
i’m do glad you enjoy my characters and who they are shipped with ! <3
he deserved so much better.

• the information you received about a notorious group of vampires who have been terrorizing a small coastal town for years was minimal. no photos and no descriptions of the suspects, but there was a fairly lengthy list of anticipated victims that have been missing from the town without a trace for quite some time.
- seeing the varying ages, you volunteered up to the task and began tracking them, determined to put an end to their reign of terror.
• when i tell you they all watch and follow you around, mainly around the areas of the pier-
• the boys caught you in a comic book store on the boardwalk, discussing with two boys— the frog brothers— on suspicious activity they have taken notice of, and even were open enough to proclaim their skepticisms, chalking up to be creatures of the night.
• you never really viewed monsters individually— case-by-case— so, when you got to know the boys as themselves rather than a group of killers, it was both refreshing and incredibly frustrating.
- you shouldn’t be empathetic towards your targets, yet here you are.
• one thing is for certain: none of them wanted to exterminate you.
- they tried to luring you to go elsewhere. anywhere but staying in santa carla, but you wouldn’t budge.
- as soon as you step foot into his shop, max eventually singled you out as a threat and implored the boys to ‘handle it’ before he did.
• in an effort to coexist peacefully with the hunters, the boys ( and max ) propose a truce: they will allow the monster hunters to continue their work, but only if they agree to a set of strict rules. these rules include only hunting down those who are genuinely evil and pose a threat to others.
- it’s a risky plan, where they know know that they’ll face opposition from both sides, but they’re willing to take that chance if it means the best result.
- this way, the slayers can continue to fulfill their duty while not harming innocent people or creatures.
- in the end, they succeed in their plan, bringing peace to the parties that was once torn apart by violence and hatred. needless to say, your employers initially weren’t the happiest people when they found out you siding with known killers and had to let you go as you did go against the code of conduct, even though it was to be rewritten.
- but, being impressed by the groups newfound maturity and sense of responsibility, y/n’s employers agree to the truce and even consider working together to root out the real evil in the world, all while maintaining a peaceful coexistence.
- of course, there would still be conflicts and disagreements, but this suggests that the lost boys and the hunters can learn to coexist with one another, as long as they remain respectful of each other’s differences and uphold their respective duties.

• seeing as the lost boys have a complicated relationship with humans, it came as a bit of surprise when they decided to have their eyes set on you as a romantic partner and not a source of entertainment or food.
- they were fascinated by you from the get-go.
• naturally, they all are fiercely protective over you, and would do anything to guarantee your safety.
- example, someone hurts you, how do the boys respond ?:
david: ‘anticipatory protection.’ after any kind of incident that endangers you, david wants to prevent potential threats before they even occur.
dwayne: ‘quietly pissed off.’ lowkey the scariest, imo. while consoling you, dwayne brings it upon himself to send a silent, long warning look to the other person. this is quite effective in situations where words might not be enough to get any message across, but not just his eyes paint what he is feeling— a clenched jaw and tense body help get the job done.
paul: ‘physical defense.’ he needs to be HELD back. /hj. paul is the type of guy to get psychically violent towards someone that brought you any form of harm.
marko: ‘vocal defense.’ throws ABUNDANT amounts of wild insults and threats such as saying he is going to rip the guys’ head off. you get the picture.

Discord
SUMMARY: while quarantine is mandated as covid spreads, midoriya downloads a particular app and finds himself crushing on one of its users.
PAIRING: izuku midoriya x fem!reader.
WARNING(S): none. <33
NOTES: this will be a discord au, as you probably suspected because of the title. also, i hope that you all enjoy this since i’m a bit iffy with the final product… :’).
It had been precisely a month or three since U.A. High School had no other choice but to usher their students into a mandatory quarantine due to rising cases of COVID-19 in Japan. All classes were locked inside their respective dormitory buildings and given the number of students contained in such a space, social distancing and other procedures were strictly enforced.
To Midoriya Izuku, he was indifferent to their situation.
While a part of him is grateful to spend more time in his dormitory to focus more on his studies, Izuku couldn’t help but feel saddened. It would be even more difficult to do the physical exertions of his routine. He didn’t want to disturb anyone else in the 1-A building with his workout. That’s when numerous questions began to plague his mind.
When will this all be over? Will things ever be normal? When will he be able to see his mom again, face-to-face?
He was sure getting tired of seeing his classmates every single minute of the day. While it was enjoyable to tie stronger bonds with them all, it was almost like Izuku hardly has any time to focus on himself. To recharge his social battery.
It didn’t take long for Kaminari Denki, Ashido Mina, and Kirishima Eijiro to introduce a few of their classmates — Izuku included — an app called “Discord”. In short, it is a voice, video, and text chat app to use to talk and hang out with their communities and friends.
As soon as it was brought to Izuku’s attention that this app was mainly used to make online friends, he was reluctant to download it. It went against one of the most basic rules that everyone learns as a child. Don’t talk to strangers.
Well, that and not taking candy from them.
However, Izuku was getting desperate. He longed to converse with someone that wasn’t a part of the Heights Alliance dorms. And desperate times call for desperate measures. Swallowing his pride, Izuku bit the bullet and finally decided to download Discord. It took Izuku approximately five minutes flat to create his account but when all was said and done, he stared blankly at his phone when he realized that he didn’t know how to use the app.
“Kaminari,” Izuku said, his gaze remaining on his cellar device as he walked into the living room. “How do I work this thing?” He asked.
“What, your phone?” Iida Tenya raised a brow at the vague inquiry.
“No, no…” Izuku cartoonishly waved his arms around to dismiss the assumption. “I-It’s, well, this app that he keeps bringing up… it’s confusing…” he mumbled under his breath.
“Ah.” Denki awkwardly laughed when this was brought to his attention. “Should’ve given you a heads up about that. Sorry,” he scratched the back of his neck before getting up from his seat and making a beeline towards the renowned green-haired boy. “I’ll give you my account to friend and I’ll just invite you to Mina’s server. Just to get you started.” He briefly explained.
The next few minutes were filled with Mina and Denki luring over Izuku who tried to figure out Discord. He has never had anything like the app before, so his puzzled behaviour was excusable. “So…” Izuku trailed off. “All these people are… strangers to you two?” He tried to strike up a conversation, despite knowing the answer to it.
“Not really, no,” Mina instinctively shook her head. “I’ve known these people for years now. Made sure that they weren’t creeps. If you want to make friends there, I strongly suggest S/n Y/n. She’s a sweetheart.” She crossed her arms over her chest as she praised this so-called ‘Y/n’.
“Oh, yeah! I forgot about her!” Denki admitted. “She’s so cool, man,” he nodded his head in agreement. “She’s that one. Right there.” Denki proceeded to lean over and point at one of the few online accounts on the server.
“What should I do then? Send her a friend request?” Izuku blinked with surprise. He doesn’t know how to talk to girls as it is. He then considered the idea that talking online might slightly be better since Y/n wouldn’t have to bare witness to his rambling.
“I mean, yeah. Do it!” Denki egged on his classmate. Mina followed suit, chanting Izuku’s name.
Succumbing to the peer pressure, Izuku requested to follow Y/n only to have it instantaneously accepted. Wow, that was quick, he thought to himself. As soon as the pair beside him saw that Y/n accepted it, they couldn’t help but smile. “Well,” Mina spoke up and stood to her feet, grabbing a hold of Denki’s sweater to tug on it slightly. Hoping that he’d take the hint. “Hope you two have fun talking. Remember: be yourself.” That had to be the worst piece of advice that Izuku has ever heard.
Izuku could only watch, hopeless, as his two lifelines floated away from him before — inevitably — leaving the premises.
Bashfully peering back down at his phone, Izuku felt a lump form in his throat and his heart drops to the dark abyss in his stomach when seeing that he got a DM from none other than S/n Y/n herself. Chewing on the inside of his cheek, he slowly opened it.
y/n.: hello. do i know you?
Deku: No, but I’m friends with Kaminari & Ashido… I just joined Discord and they suggested you to be my first online friend.
y/n.: oh.
y/n.: well… 0-0;; i’m honored??
y/n.: what’s your name?
Deku: Midoriya Izuku but my friends just call me “Deku”. :]
y/n.: in that case, it’s lovely to meet you, deku. my name’s y/n.
The next hour or so was filled with the pair introducing themselves, and discussing their likes, dislikes, and hobbies. Izuku had formed an attachment to Y/n. He didn’t want to, given that he doesn’t know her in real life but his heart had other plans. He didn’t know why he had given the whole idea of making online friends a hard time… perhaps because he is too much of a mother’s boy to disobey Inko. He complied with almost everything she requested of him.
y/n.: so…
y/n.: what do you look like?
y/n.: (if you wanna show me ofc. don’t have to)
Deku:
y/n.: oh wow :0
Deku: What?
y/n.: not to be weird but you’re really cute ngl
And as simple as that, Izuku felt his face become flushed. He lays on his bed, surprised, how on earth was he supposed to reply to a compliment like that? It had to be the very first time that someone, aside from his mother, had praised his looks. His heart felt as if it was going a hundred miles per hour. Letting out a shaky sigh, Izuku snapped back into reality and resumed his chat with Y/n.
Deku: Really? You think so?
y/n.: i know so. 😭
y/n.: trust me
y/n.: i’m not trying to be weird but you’re, like, a solid 9/10.
No, Izuku thought to himself. This had to be some sort of prank. His situation seemed a little too good to be true. He wasn’t necessarily trying to fess up to the idea of him being easy, but Y/n’s words did affect him greatly. Even so, Izuku didn’t want to crush on someone online.
A crush would make him feel like a weak, soft-hearted little boy. The complete opposite of what he strives to be. It would be a dangerous attachment for when he officially becomes a Pro-Hero.
"Midoriya, you look troubled." Mina points out the obvious as she re-enters his room. Izuku looks away. Despite such measures, the pink-coloured student didn’t miss the red flush on Izuku’s cheeks, and before he can bring it up, Denki burst into the bedroom as well.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah! I’m fine,” Izuku reassured, offering them a weak smile in hopes that they wouldn’t notice his apparent blush.
Mina squints, "It's hard to believe you with that expression on your face."
It was true, he was head over heels for Y/n.
“I…” Izuku was at a loss for words and looked like a deer in headlights. “I’m sorry?” He apologized, despite it not being needed. It was really the only thing he could do other than to usher his friends out of his bedroom.
“Don’t say that!” Mina waved off Izuku’s apology. “How’s Y/n?” She eventually asked.
“S-She’s nice.”
“Oh?” Denki raised a brow at the statement. “Well, just so you know, she’s been texting us at the same time,” he said, matter-of-factly. “She’s a complete simp.” He finished.
“Simp?” Izuku cocked his head at the term as his eyebrows knitted together with subtle confusion. He had absolutely no idea what it meant.
“She likes you, Deku.” Mina spelt it out for him and, at this statement, Izuku’s mouth is left hung agape. “Okay, we told him,” she harshly whispers and looks up at Denki. “Let’s get out of here.” They closed the door behind themselves but their muffled giggles can be heard as clear as day.
She likes me, Deku smiled to himself.

- he has voiced several times on his streams how much he loved your work— new and old— with how you edit your videos and your overall knowledge of things, especially video games since he understands most of the references you make when you include clips from said games shortly after mentioning them. not only was your personality perfect for him, it also helped that you were quite beautiful.

- it was the kind of wave he normally received when people were trying to cancel him ( to no avail, of course ), but this time something felt off.
• opening twitter to hopefully get some answers, that is when he was able to catch a glimpse of a certain content creator on his home page.
- several associates— close friends and acquaintances alike— that were well aware of his crush, spam messaged him, urging him to check the app. not like he needed to be told, anyway.
- not only had y/n l/n tweeted, but she also mentioned him more than once. fairly recently, too.
• my man is bouncing off the walls, blushing, kicking his feet, giggling, twirling his hair-

- unbeknownst to the male, you had begun recording, deciding silently that this would be your video’s ‘preview’ before your introduction plays. it reminded you of times of early YouTube, when you would spend your weekends catching up or rewatching certain creators. it would be nice to revisit it, to play it with some friends rather than a different variation such as Minecraft’s take on it. nonetheless, it brought you a sense of nostalgia.
• “wait, so,” your memory became a bit fuzzy, “how do you crouch again ?”
- all while everyone’s characters, including yours, spawned in and the map fully loaded, Schlatt let out a dramatic, drawn-out exhale as he had memorized the controls with ease.
- “what ?” ted could be heard, letting out a hearty laugh at the other’s nonverbal response, “c’mon, you can’t be annoyed by something like that.”
- “you’ll have to excuse our friend here,” charlie explained lightheartedly, “he has a little trouble playing well with others.”
- “are you calling me a child right now ?”
- “if the shoe fits.”
• jschlatt is the kind to tells you that your strategy for the next round for the game sucks, that’s it’s gonna fail in five seconds and that you should just leave it to him to figure it out, when really it’s because your strategy is just you putting yourself in too much danger so then he tries to figure out one himself so you can stand a chance in ‘murder.’
- the same guy who kills you in an instant if he’s the murderer with a maniacal laugh. 🤨
• you turn a corner to find his character standing over a dead body, slowly he turns around: “beat it, toots, these streets aren’t what they used to be.”

“she looks just like a dream, the prettiest girl i’ve ever seen from the cover of a magazine.”
Guardian Angel
SUMMARY: s/n y/n accidentally catches the eye of one of the guards.
PAIRING: guard! x player!fem!reader
WARNING(S): death, blood, that sort of stuff.
NOTES: i guess minor spoilers for the third episode of squid game if you haven’t seen it.
Player 018 fiddled with the end of her uniform as she grabbed her breakfast from one of the guards, “Thank you.” She nodded her head towards him. A circle is drawn on his mask. It stands for being below the triangle and the square. This is a simple rule. However, the player seemed to be genuine in showing her appreciation of the meal — as if feeding her is not their responsibility, but a generous gesture.
The guard, in particular, was well-costumed to the rules that he must obey. He was not a manager nor a soldier, but a worker. A worker who is the "civilian" staff in the sense that they are given menial tasks — body disposal, preparing games, cleaning maintenance, and food distribution. Their role in the Games does not require them to speak or possess weapons. But most importantly:
1. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR MASK OUTSIDE OF YOUR ROOM
2. DO NOT CONVERSE WITHOUT PERMISSION
3. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ROOM WITHOUT PERMISSION
He knew he wasn’t supposed to converse on his jurisdiction, but found himself compelled to respond to Player 018. He opened his mouth to engage in a conversation, but stopped himself, reminding himself of the rules and what would happen if he disobeyed. “S/n Y/n!” A voice called for the young woman, prompting her to tense. Turning around, the contestant retreated to her group with her breakfast in hand.
As the guard continued passing out the meal to the remaining players, he couldn’t help but glance occasionally in Player 018’s, or rather, S/n’s, general direction. Before the two knew it, it was time for the second game.
All players were herded to a spacious room that was made up to mimic a giant-sized playground, with a towering jungle jim and an adult-sized slide and so on. Despite the circumstances, Player 018 couldn’t help but get distracted by the scenery until the intercom rang loudly throughout the room: “Players, welcome to the second game. We will begin shortly.” At this, she frowned — reminding herself that she could spare no expense. She could not let herself daydream at a time like this, for it could jeopardize her chances of advancing to the next round. With a small sigh, she tilted her head back as she listened carefully to the instructions. “Players, before the game begins, choose one of the four available shapes you see on the wall. Once you’ve chosen your shape, please stand in front of it. Choose a shape and stand in front of it immediately.”
At this, S/n’s eyebrows furrowed together with subtle confusion as she tried her best to look past the shoulders of everyone in front of her. She looked at her options: a circle, a triangle, a star, and an umbrella. Player 018 stood there for a moment whilst trying to make up her mind for making her final decision before the intercom prompted that everyone should move faster, “Choose a shape and stand in front of it immediately.” It repeated.
Feeling as if she was being rushed, Player 018 began to pace in front of the various lines but ultimately decided to pick the star. Even though she was compelled to pick the umbrella from the beginning, her gut authorized against it.
“The time to select your shape has ended. I will now explain the rules of the next game. All players, please take one case each from the table at the front of your line.” With that, the lines started to move as guards handed out small tins. Eventually, it got to S/n’s turn and she was met face-to-face with another guard with a circle pattern imprinted onto his mask. Unbeknownst to her, it was the same guard from this morning. Player 018’s gaze shifted between the tin and the guard’s mask. “All players, please take one case each from the table at the front of your line.” The voice recited.
Realizing that she was holding up the line, she let out an embarrassed chuckle as she went to reach out for her tin but accidentally grazed over the guard’s hand. “Oh, my apologies…” She whispered before nodding her head to show her gratitude once more. “Thank you.” She turned her heel to find a place to sit down. The guard, however, temporarily stopped his duties as he recalled how small and gentle her hands were compared to his.
“Please take a moment to open the case and check the contents.” The voice continued and S/n, sitting against the slide, did as she was told and opened the lid to reveal a dalgona with a pattern of a star engraved onto it. “The second game is sugar honeycombs. The shape you have chosen is the shape you must remove from the honeycomb,” S/n’s heard felt as if it was going to burst as this was revealed to her, but she tried to calm herself with the fact that it could have been worse. “The time limit is ten minutes. You will pass if you trim out the shape without breaking or cracking within the time limit. With that, let the game begin.”
Hesitantly, Player 018 picked up the needle and looked back at the wafer in front of her. “You have got to be joking…” She let out a shaky sigh and carefully began to scrap it. It wasn’t long before a shot erupted in the once quiet area. S/n jumped at the sudden noise but made sure to not have her needle close to the wafer as this happened. She looked up for a moment and watched as blood trailed down the slide immediately after the first eliminated player is executed. She did not move for a few seconds as she watched numerous people get eliminated after this death since they accidentally destroyed their dalgona.
After a few seconds, S/n slowly looked back down at the wafer and resumed her work but maintained wary of her surroundings. She was so engrossed in carving out the perfect shape that she did not notice the sound of the sand crunching under the boots of the guard approaching. His silhouette fell over her small figure as he unintentionally kicked up sand onto her. Player 018 bit the inside of her cheek, agitated as this happened before wiping the sand off of her. “I’m not finished yet.” She mumbled under her breath. She side-eyed the boots beside her leg and watched as they did not leave when she mentioned this. Frowning, S/n halted and showed the guard her almost finished carved star.
Looking up, she found it was not one of the men with the triangle staring down at her but rather a circle. She looked around at the other guard’s mask and found the individual in front of her was the odd man out. “I don’t think you should be here,” she said vaguely. “You’ll get into trouble, won’t you?” She tilted her head to the side and then began to finish up carving out her piece.
The guard, however, as to not draw suspicion, remained quiet and simply stared down at the participant. She shifted in her spot, showing obvious signs of discomfort. “I don’t mean to be rude, but I cannot focus if you are hovering over my shoulder…” S/n tried to remain as polite as possible. She could hear a slight scoff emit from the guard as he crouched down beside her before placing a lighter near her leg. Player 018 opened her mouth to reply but the guard gently grabbed her arm to get her attention as he raised his index finger to his mask to gesture to her to be quiet. She nodded, understanding but found herself looking at the lighter as he scurried away.
‘Did he confiscate this from another player? Did he bring it here? How did the others not find this?’ She chewed on her lip as she picked up the lighter, moving under the slide so she won’t be easily spotted by the other competitors or the guards. She huffed as she heated the needle which gave her an easy advantage in the game. She smirked at the sight of how easily she cut through the treat.
Within a few minutes, S/n Y/n was able to successfully cut through the shape of the star. Looking up, she quickly discarded the lighter into her pants as she went up to the nearest guard and showed him that she completed the challenge.
“Player 018, pass.” The intercom rang out which caused her to sigh in contempt and then was directed outside of the room to regroup in the main area.
Much to her credit, she did acknowledge that she wouldn’t have passed if it wasn’t for the worker — she fiddled with the lighter in her pocket as she walked down the corridor, frowning. S/n knew that she had to return it to him. She had to thank him in some sort of way for she was in his debt.
The very thought of the sworn enemy being her protector or knight in shining armor made Player 018 giggle at the irony which prompted the guard in front of her to look over his shoulder, as to stare at her inquisitively. “Oh… my apologies. My head was in the clouds.” She partially lied and almost immediately returned to her thoughts.
‘Looks like I have a little guardian angel on my side…’

author’s note: ah! i am sorry if this came off as corny, cliché, or anticlimactic in any way! i just wanted to focus on the tension between you, the player, and the guard— plus, i am nooooo good when it comes to writing ends for stuff. 0-o
“talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference.”
come get you a man-
why need a rich man when you have a circle guard willing to risk his life for you ? 😩 absolute chad.
his comrades: “oooooo, you’ve got a crush on the playerrr. >u< [reports to superior].”
i just know the head guy knows something is up, but isn’t doing anything, so, the drama of the ‘will-they-won’t-they’ thing can exist.

Upon entry, he was met with the intoxicating fragrance of the various aromas of the blooming objects. The U.A. student sauntered around the public area. It was a quite unusual place to find him and many would agree. He thought flowers were pretty, and that's it. The boy didn't have a specific favorite but he thought roses were alright. They came in several colours, two of the colors being red and white, like his hair. The young Todoroki was aimlessly walking around the city, founding himself here and may be staying for another hour or so, though it made him feel out of place as his smell was the opposite of the store: like a campfire, citrus, cleaning products, cedar, and musk, which was simultaneously masculine and sedate in nature.
Placed on the other side of the open space, stood a familiar girl. She easily could be spotted a mile away with her signature, radiant demeanor. This early afternoon, S/n Y/n had on a simple, baggy, long sleeve shirt that was tucked into a pair of high-rise shorts, considered a bit out of pocket as she always seemed to wear intricate outfits that appeared to require a lot of effort put into it. Innocently, she walked through the isles of plants with no goal in mind, admiring the strategically placed flowers as they caught her attention and many of the others so carefully.
The duo-tone haired teen continued to walk around. He caught a glimpse of h/c-coloured hair, but dismissed it wasn't someone he knew. Shoto thought to greet whoever that would be later, and simply enjoyed the peace as, the moment he stepped back into the dorms, there would be chaos and noise from his classmates.
The young Y/n did not notice the other approaching her as she was too caught up in her own world. Instead, with child-like wonder, she pointed and lightly touched the petals of the beautifully coloured flowers that caught her attention. “Hm, maybe I should take a few with me since I’m already here?” S/n debated with herself out loud. Of course, she would purchase the plants if she chose to buy herself a bouquet, but where would she put them? “Maybe I can hand them out to random people... just to brighten up their day.”
Shoto approached the other. He wanted to be the person to start conversations nowadays, he didn't want to be seen as shy nor quiet in the future. The teenager knew he might accidentally scare her if he tapped on her shoulder or suddenly spoke up, so, he decided the best was to just view the same flowers that she was looking at, too. They were indeed pretty. Would this be enough to get her to talk to him without him scaring her? Todoroki realized she would be spooked and say something along the lines of 'I didn't see you there!' or 'How did you get here without me noticing?' or perhaps both.
For starters, the girl had felt eyes being on her, but had ignored it, simply choosing to believe that it was merely nothing. That is a mistake for anyone to make— everyone should trust what their gut is telling them. This already made a hole form in her stomach as her heart softly began to quicken its rate. It wasn’t terribly unbearable, but the change of pace was indeed apparent.
The surprise was enough to make S/n Y/n nearly let out a mewl if she hadn’t jumped up, standing back up with several of hand picked flowers in hand. Her alarm died down upon her frantic, e/c eyes meeting a pair of delicate, different colored ones: a brownish dark gray while the other one turquoise.
“You have to stop sneaking up on me like that, Shoto-Kun,” she placed a hand over her chest, a bashful beam spread across her lips; a smile so sweet and genuine that could make even the saddest man alive happy again, “—Or else you're going to make me die of fright.”
“Oh, my apologies,” he let a small grin form on his face, the ends of his lips twitching upward, “I didn't know how to greet you without scaring you, you see...” Todoroki said to her, slightly trailing off. The boy's smile remained. “What a coincidence that we're both here.”
Perhaps some conversation would be nice?
Shoto must admit he thought the girl was cute, yes, not just taking her reaction into account, but her entire being. He would never tell anyone. Not yet at least. Her smile gave him a warm feeling in his heart. It made him feel… happy, a strange occurrence for him to experience. He was settled by her being there, but he couldn’t help but stand rigid as she drew closer, body somewhat stiffening as his thoughts were running too fast for his rationale to keep up.
Was he falling in love? Maybe it was because he was hurt for his entire life and that is the exact reason why he yearned for a romance; a relationship. The duo-haired student wanted someone to be his rock when he couldn't hold himself up anymore. In return, he wanted to give out all the love that has been stored away in his heart. He desired to cherish someone, to smother them with his love. His heart burned with it, and he just wanted to let it all out.
Endeavor failed so miserably with his mum more than he could ever express with just words alone, so shouldn’t he do better? Isn’t his life goal to be way better than his father, anyway?
The mere sound of his quiet drawl was enough to fill her up with joy— making her feel almost giddy— and her heart to swell even more. “I know right!” She let out a breathy laugh, dragging out her next statement for a more kid-like, but adorable and friendly, effect, “Can’t believe you found me-e.”
The student surprised herself as she seemed to forget all about their conversation on the phone, especially when the two of them discussed a potential date, even if it was suggested that they were going just ‘as friends.’ And, by the looks of it, he wasn’t going to bring it up either. As much as she wanted to go with him around town, S/n did not know if she would be ready in time as she almost became a nervous wreck whenever he was by her. Besides, if he were to grab her along to the location he had recommended to go eat, she would surely want to dress up for the occasion. Though she may not act the part for a date, she at least wanted to look the part...
Todoroki Shoto felt very glad hearing his pupil’s laugh. He felt warm, as in safe and cozy in her presence, something his home hadn't provided in a while. Should he continue the conversation or end it? It would be quite awkward if he just left, though. What topic should he base the conversation on? Food? Ask how she's been doing? Flowers?
“Can't believe I did either. I wasn't really sure it was you at first so I came to see if it was.” He shrugged shoulders, “So, how have you been?” Shoto inquired, thinking that it would be good to start the conversation with that question.
She pressed a finger to her chin, taking a moment to actually ponder on the inquiry he had presented to her, ‘I can’t tell him the fact that him being here with me makes me feel eager but also anxious, could I?’ The girl took a few calming breaths, counting to five to slowly calm her mind before letting out her vocal reaction.
“I’ve been doing alright, even better now that you’re here, thank you so much!” Her mouth curled up into a fond smile, “I’ve been meeting new people, which is always good.” The student then stopped herself to give the boy a chance to speak, “How about you?”
Shoto almost blushed when he heard that she feels better with him around. That was... unusual. Her smile alone was enough to light up anyone’s whole day, his included, and he desires nothing more but to see it more often. “I've been doing alright as well.” He answered with a grateful nod. The duo-haired boy had met only one new person but other than that, the teenager had just been staying around U.A., preferring to train and such. He had learn a few stuff regarding his fire portion of his Quirk, but he decided it wouldn't be fitting for the conversation.
Her passion died down, believing she was becoming a bit unhinged and a tad bit too over-excited. At a young age, whenever she would ramble on, she would be quickly silenced and dealt with, resulting in her being known as an introvert around new people as she did not know how they would react to her aimlessly talking. In an instant, similar to flicking a switch, Y/n relaxed, and quieted her voice, “What about you?” She gingerly poked his shoulder with a finger.
‘Kuso yarō... I already asked that question not even a second ago?’ She felt like ripping out her hair in frustration with herself. If she had some enhanced speed or flight ability instead of her current power, best believe she would use it to get out of this mess of a situation, ‘— Why must I be so idiotic?’
Shoto hesitated to answer the question. Didn't she already ask? It was fine, though. He was okay with answering again. “Well, let’s see… a teacher, who I believe was on break, taught me some stuff about my fire quirk. Condensing the flames and such. I'd show you but I don't have a marker and I don't want to set off any fire alarms nearby.” He only had a book to read, a wallet, his ID, a bottle of water and some chocolate bars in his backpack.
The girl, despite already being engrossed in the situation, was even more into it as he discussed his quirk. She found it interesting and genuinely fun to discuss matters such as it since she adored people being passionate about their gifts. “Marker?” She repeats with curious eyes, not being well versed in the term he was trying to imply, “What’s that?” She tilted her head off to the side, imitating that of an image of a perplexed puppy, mistaking the item for something completely different. She slightly leaned forward with interest as he dug through his belongings for whatever it was that he was searching for.
“Do you need help?” S/n half-joked, slightly reaching out before reeling her hands back since he already had a backpack strapped onto him to carry everything, “Oh, no, it seems like you got it...” the h/c-haired student answered herself shortly after her last retort.
“No need for help. I don't know how to explain it in depth but he said something about the flames being focused into one area, like the engines of a fighter jet. I could show you another time, unless you have a marker, that is. Perhaps a washable one.” He suggested to her out loud. ‘Out of the things I could forget to bring,’ Shoto thought, ‘I forget a marker— a marker, of all things.’ he stopped rummaging through his backpack, now sure he didn't have the item with him.
“Um,” she dragged out the noise as she too pulled off her bag and started combing through her stuff, “I might. Let me double-check.” In the middle of her search, she did come to find a light, baby blue marker. Y/n did in fact purchase it, but she must’ve forgotten about it as it sank lower in her backpack as time progressed until it somehow managed to end at the very bottom. She threw her closed bag on her shoulders, holding up the art utensil to his face, hoping that the color of the marker wouldn’t matter, “W-Will this work?”
“It will, yes. Thank you.” The boy rolled up his left sleeve of his gray turtleneck, gently taking the drawing item from her hands. Slowly, he drew a line from his elbow to his wrist before giving the marker back to its rightful owner. He focused on making a small flame, one that wouldn't burn him or the place down. Almost instantly, a tiny flame the size of one's on a candle appeared. It flickered a bit before snaking down to his wrist, sometimes growing dangerously tall. It reached his wrist quickly. Once it did, Shoto put the flame out. “That's how it works I guess? I'm still practising.” He dusted off his arm, ensuring there wasn’t anything left to ruin his attire before rolling down his sleeve. He'll just make sure to wash what was left on his arm from the marker once he gets back to the dorms.
The flame danced in her e/c eyes, almost giving her the feeling of déjà vu, or could the comforting sensation be nostalgia? The fire reminded her of a much simpler time in her life, back when she had nothing to stress about apart from what her mother was making for dinner. Back when her father, as intimidating as he was, called S/n his little ‘firebug’ as she sat so close to the fireplace with severe interest, sometimes even attempting to reach out to touch it.
“It’s so pretty...” the teenager said out of pure awe, using the tips of her fingers to graze across the top of the vibrant colors, “I-I mean— that’s so cool, Shoto-Kun!” She was truly happy for him, exercising with his other side was, at least in her book, a big accomplishment even if he only had a little control of it.
He would make it one of his missions to fall in love. Todoroki wanted to, and he knew the perfect candidate. He wants to fall in love with S/n Y/n.

The Scout was under the current dilemma that any woman her age ought to go through at least once in their life, especially one going through certain circumstances: whether she was going to die today, …and if a guy romantically likes her back or not. S/n Y/n always daydreamed that after Commander Erwin Smith retired in a couple of years, the two would finally confess their love, even get married one day, and grow old together if things such as titans or other threats didn’t get in the way of their personal lives.
Much to her surprise, her typically protective comrades— the younger recruits included— approved of the male, viewing the blond not only as a wonderful leader but also someone fit for their friend. After all, the two seemed close, so, why not?
Of course, she never found the time to put into words nor find the courage to be straightforward about her feelings since she was under the impression she didn’t need to. No one did the things they did. Erwin was only ever physical with Y/n: holding her hand while crossing a busy street, offering her embraces fairly frequently, even giving her his jacket at times when she was visibly cold. Was she just taking things the wrong way...? Surely not...they told each other everything, shared every secret and every fear. They had to be close. Maybe that’s why she firmly believed he had realized her affections long ago; she thought he may have even felt the same way with how he acted.
She figured she could’ve postponed it, waiting until only after they reached Yeager Grisha’s basement in Shiganshina. But, as her luck would have it, her confession would have to be today: the day it may very well be their last.
Unrequited love is powerful, she realized that within a few couple of weeks of acknowledging her emotions toward her higher up. A certain sort of strength is required to keep pouring love into a person with no prospect of anything being returned, nothing with the same kind of vivid intensity. Platonic love, as beautiful as it can be, seems faded and dim under the want for something more. Something different. The kind of love that sweeps away everything else, consumes you like a fire.
This could very much also be the reason why she has been holding back from telling Erwin for so long.
Fortunately, it wasn’t too terrible to discover where he was through the crimson mist; the blood of their slain comrades, scattered along the now-demolished streets and housings. Wiping her stained face from any traces of the sprayed liquid, she neared her superior. S/n Y/n at least wanted to appear presentable, and, despite only having one goal in mind, upon spotting a familiar head of neat, black hair, she uttered out, “Take care of yourself.” It was Levi Ackerman, perhaps humanity’s strongest soldier, who happened to be taking his leave from having his one-on-one conversation with Erwin Smith, who sat himself on a wooden crate.
In return, his typically stoic eyes didn’t hide anything now— not his surprise, relief, and certainly not his sorrow. After a moment of recollection and delicately processing her words, the Captain gave the woman a curt nod, brushing past her, and allowing her to have a moment alone with the other.
Rocks, provided by a crushed boulder courtesy of the Beast Titan, were going to fly past her and the others in every direction, screams will fill the air until the Scouts, recruits or not, were nearly all wiped out. Alternatively, until this side of the Wall Maria was flattened, with no house nor building left to stand, meaning no protection from the speeding stones. Whichever came first. These teenagers— these kids of varying ages— shouldn’t have to live a life like this…It wasn’t humane.
“Commander…?”
He slowly rose to his feet, “Y/n, we’ve known each other for years, now, and, considering the weight of our situation, you can drop the formalities.” Only a twinge of hurt was clear in his address, likely due to him doing his best to remain composed until after giving the news to the new recruits of their final mission: a suicide charge.
She nodded her head softly, “Yes, sir- I mean,” the woman could muster anything more than a half-chuckle, “You know what I mean…Erwin.” S/n corrected herself, experiencing a certain feeling of fondness when uttering out his first name. Her voice wavered, eyes shifting in slight shame, made evident by the fluster that touched her cheeks. The silence between answers had her sanity hanging by a thread. It made her subtle discomfort and desperation with the interaction all the more apparent, “I just wanted to say,” Y/n had to practically force out despite the deep pit in her stomach, “It has been an honor to be by your side.”
Staggering a bit, his eyebrows twitched before furrowing together with clear puzzlement, “Where is this coming from?” The Commander had various guesses, but still inquired for clarification.
Erwin deserved an answer.
She swallowed thickly, her stomach knotted up again, threatening to jettison what contents remained in it. “I can’t stop thinking about you when we’re apart. I’m devoted to you, and I wish to spend what remaining life I have with no one but you.” She whimpered out, weak sobs racking her form, burying her face in her hands. There it was, out in the open for him to see. “I should’ve told you sooner.” Her watery gaze lifted from her hands to stare at him, wanting the other to respond, not wanting him to just stand there silently with wide eyes.
The man’s voice softened, strained, but low and vulnerable, this having been his first and only love confession, “No, you couldn’t possibly have known something like this were to happen.” He cued in, denying her last claim, while taking one of her hands in his, which brought her attention back to him. His piercing blue eyes staring down to meet hers, “You are the one I wished for— I’m a better person because of you, you were there when countless of my comrades were slain more than I could ever say. I promise, if we get out of here, I’ll toss my post as Commander aside, and be yours.”
It was true…he meant every word. If she said the word just a while ago, before he was determined to see what is in the Yeager’s basement, Erwin Smith would’ve gladly dropped everything— including his power— to be with S/n Y/n.
His delicate hold of her hand never ceased, “So,” his voice is calm and she wonders how during such a time as this, “Are you with me, my dear?”
In response, she exchanged a few looks with Levi and the various new recruits, eyes nor voice no longer filled with stress or worry, placing her other, free hand on the top of his, “Until the end…”
