So, my brother gave me this super adorable book with Broadway baby names (named after the iconic Sondheim song) last weekend and I’m so in love with it, even though it’s super late. My niece and nephew got kind of obsessed with it and ended up bombarding me with Disney suggestions all day. They definitely get an A+ for their creativity and effort, but something tells me calling those little monsters (or watermelons, as that’s how big they are right now) Mushu & Cricket or Beauty & The Beast wouldn’t be entirely appropriate. But now I totally want to hear what kind of epic duo name combinations my housemates come up with, so bring it on. Give me those names. Please distract me before I start fussing over Stef again, because I’m starting to feel like she’s trying really hard not to punch me.

My kid turned nine this week and it’s going me all kind of fucked up. I feel so old! I even told her I was feeling old and she had the audacity to say, “You’re not getting any younger mom, you promised me a brother or sister one day and you’re running out of time.” Okay Lucy, thank you for making feel sooo much better about this whole aging thing. Children's lack of filter is both a blessing and a curse, isn’t it? Please know that you’re not running out of time just yet, though. Look at me -- I’m 34 as well and I’m about to become a father for the first time. I know it’s not entirely the same for women, but you’re definitely not old, or too old to have another kid. And there are lots of options. If you think you might seriously want to consider it, I might actually be able to help with the donor situation. Okay, that did not sound that creepy in my head -- I promise I don’t mean it that way. I just meant that I know a good clinic.

@darrencriss Drove out to the Peach State to make sure registered Georgia Democrats have made a voting plan for the upcoming US Senate runoff elections on January 5th.

Good news is- a lot of them have already voted early! But there are still a number of people who HAVEN’T made a voting plan yet, and we need to make sure they know where and how to get their vote counted.

For the next couple of days, I’ll be canvassing on the ground in key counties of Georgia until the election.

I’ve finally recovered, but it definitely took me a few days as well. Which made me feel super old. But hey -- it’s the first week of 2021, so I don’t think anyone’s going to mind if you spend the majority of it on the couch.
