Kreia Debates Batman
Here's my take
Thrawn really went "These bitches come back to life all the damn time."
Thrawn really needs three witnesses, a body, DNA confirmation, dental records, and 24/7 surveillance on the corpse before he believes someone is dead.
The general vibe I get from this episode asides from the lovely Sabezra moment is even more Norse references. From the Great Mothers standing in for the Nornir (the "fates" of the Germanic world) to the standing stones and runes. But there is one vibe that is more subtle, one that few have picked up on
Thrawn, in this instance, is Loki, the cleverest and most complex of the gods, leading his forces of undead warriors aboard his nail-ship to Ragnarök. But Loki is not there to end the world. No, it is something coming in from behind Loki that is far more terrifying and destructive.
That, my friends, is Surtr, the Fire-King, lord of Musphelheim, and it is he who represents the end of all things.
But who, then, is Surtr in the Star Wars universe?
Fans of Legends will know this enemy's name. A foe so numerous, chaotic, and devoid of all empathy. A foe that forced Imp and Rep to unite and face the threat united.
A threat known as the Yuuzhan Vong.
As much as Thrawn presents a threat to the New Republic, his actions ultimately serve to help shake them out of their stupor and arm themselves once more. And this will help them for whenever the Vong do come and try to bathe the galaxy in fire and blood.
In a way, while it seems for now that Sabine’s choice might have doomed the galaxy, she might have ended up saving it.
As Huyang said, it was the only choice she could have realistically made. Even the very wise like Ahsoka can not see all ends. Sabine was meant to give over the map, as she was meant to return with Ezra. And that is a very encouraging thought.
Elsbeth: Shouldn’t we send more than two squads?
Thrawn, having not had anyone question his orders for 15 years: ………….
Thrawn, having scraped to keep as many of his irreplaceable stormtroopers alive in this apocalyptic wasteland: …………………..
Thrawn, wondering if Elsbeth watched some youtube videos on strategy and now thinks she’s an expert: ……………………………..
Thrawn: No.
OK, but regardless of anything, nobody can tell me this isn’t how the conversation went while they were ricocheting through space.
Thrawn: we’re not so different, you and I.
Ezra: please, my family was ripped apart by the government when I was seven. You can’t possibly understand what I’ve been through.
Thrawn: my family was ripped apart by the government when I was three. You would be surprised.
Ezra: well, despite that, I was still able to find people who were like family to me.
Thrawn: so was I.
Ezra: I lost someone I loved, but his sacrifice give me the strength to go on and do what I needed to do.
Thrawn: ditto
Ezra: well… I never do things by the book and I’m not afraid to disobey orders that I don’t think are worth following
Thrawn: you’ll never believe this.
Ezra: I hate you
Thrawn: :3
The wear and tear around the collar clasp and the tunic fastenings, the areas that are being touched the most, what great details.

Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!
Ahsoka "Far, Far Away"
NOT the way the stormtroopers were chanting “Thrawn! Thrawn! Thrawn!” like he was some WWE champion who would come jogging down the aisle, arms raised, before clobbering Ezra with a metal chair LMAOOOOOO
You helped my cause. Now I shall help yours. — Grand Admiral Thrawn in Ahsoka: Far, Far Away (2023)
