If your friends constantly complain about how bad their lives are, pray for them, and try to change the subject ๐๐ฝ. If they continually criticize, condemn and complain about everything, it's time to find some new friends. Sometimes it's better to be alone and Biblical ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ, then be among narcissistic, selfish, self-centered, all consuming, and negative people ๐ค. They say misery loves company.
