Summary: Stede is struggling to find a hobby which sticks until, as a last resort, revisits a passion from when he was young: flowers. He visits the local florist (The Kraken's Oasis) for inspiration and finds just that in a rather unique rose. As much as he tries, he can’t seem to recreate such a beautiful variety and after having picked up the habit of snipping and cutting whatever he pleases, he sneakily takes a cutting from Blackbeard’s Rose, almost getting caught red-handed in the act. His petty crime comes back to haunt him, however, when he enters himself into the annual flower show that following year under the eccentric pseudonym of The Gentleman Rosarian. Little does he know… The owner of the very plant he stole from also happens to be in the competition this year. Tensions rise as Stede’s crime is dramatically unveiled centre-stage for all to see: botanical piracy caught in broad daylight!
