Fic idea where Bruce DOES NOT want anyone at the Justice League to know Nightwing is his son. (Not that he wouldn't be super proud of them knowing that's his kid, but because he's respecting Nightwing making it on his own as an adult and is still trying to make up after the batman overshadowing robin thing. Also because if they knew that was his child they might start to see him as a kid and be too overprotective. Because no one wants to be the person who let Batman's child get hurt on a mission. They want to live.)

Nightwing agrees (he appreciates his dad trying fr) and one day is like... hey I kind of want to tell them my secret identity though. But I don't want to stop you from telling them your secret identity (you have a hard enough time connecting to the team as it is).

And Bruce is so fine with that because his two besties Superman and Wonder Woman know who he is, and also because he does not want to try and explain his Brucie Wayne era to the Justice League. So he agrees to keep his identity a secret and Nightwing shares his.

Now the Justice League knows that he's Dick Grayson and therefore Bruce Wayne must be his dad.

It starts out fine but becomes a problem when they're defeating an enemy in Gotham, say at a gala, and Bruce can never sneak away to become Batman. The whole league is constantly monitoring him like "Oh no we can't let Nightwing's dad die" and they keep 'saving' him.
