let’s not forget that she was covered in all types of substances throughout the era, mainly dirt/black paint. this lyric could refer to that.

it’s ok for them to put the artist in the title, but only in cases where it’s not obvious. for example on WAVE’s vimeo page, or on TWIMC’s Youtube channel. but to do that on their youtube channel, where the project began, is not only redundant, but it’s also how future fans will discover the videos.

i don’t want to sound hopeless but i agree with you. it’s depressing.

why did they add “iamamiwhoami; “ to every single video? their videos’ artist-less titles were part of their uniqueness... smh
