Everloom is a flash game created by Kajenx on kongregate.com. Kajenx is one of my favorite developers because the music for his flash games is amazing. He also made both the William and Sly games. This game, although it maintains the same theme of an enchanted forest, is slighty different. The game reminds me of Chrono Trigger (in a good way!!) with regards to the graphics. The game is not very difficult to solve and did not take too much time to beat. The plot and gameplay, without any spoilers, are very good as well. I definitely recommend playing this game!

Linx is a game that operates on very similar principles that Flow Free uses, except for one major change: You have a limited amount of tiles to use to connect the pieces, unlike in Flow Free where you must use the entire board. The game has really good music and offfers a nice challenge, but the developer was considerate enough to make an easy version of the game as well as a hard version for people who wanted them. The developer was also considerate enough to make a colorblind settting for players as well. skellus is the developer of this game, which can be played on kongregate.com (You go skellus! ^_^).

You Have To Burn The Rope is a classic flash game that will definitely take less than 5 minutes to beat. The title explains what you have to do and also, you can't really die. The best part of the game, besides the grinning colossus, is the most epic credits song ever made for a game. Seriously, it is so very awesome. This game is perfect if you want to play a lighthearted, quick flash game. It was made by developer Mazapan and can be played on kongregate.com. Enjoy!

Loved is a highly symbolic platformer that allows players to determine how they feel about their current situation and uses these answers to alter the graphics of the game. It's short and sweet but still offers a nice bit of contemplative gaming to it. It's perfect for a ten minute break or when you want to take a break from bigger, more time consuming games. This game was made by AlexanderOcias and can be played on kongregate.com.

Depict1 is one of the flash games I find myself going back to occassionally. It's a bit philosophical and has an underlying dark tone to it. It's relatively simple, but the last level requires you to think just a bit. If anything, this game teaches you that things are not what they may seem to be. Another fun task you could opt to do is figure out the anagrams of the title, since they may offer more insight as you get further into the game. This game was made by mirosurabu and can be played on kongregate.com

Elephant Quest has to be one of the most enjoyable games in Online history. ArmorGames, Jimp, and jmtb02 came together to create such a fun game. jmtb02 is well known for his elephant themed games like "Achievement Unlocked" 1, 2 and 3, as well as his "This is the Only Level" series. There's even merchandise for sale in the ArmorGames shop that is elephant themed! Anyway, this game is a platform game with lots of cool stuff, like lasers, hats, balloons, a huge level up tree, monsters, sidequests, funky music (As always, Kevin Macleod nailed it with his awesome music), and moar elephants. The basic plotline is as follows: Wooly the mammoth stole your (you are an elephant, go figure) nice bowler hat and now you have to get it back. This game offered such a nice experience and I feel like I've played this game three times, which is a lot considering that there around 45 different areas in the game. This song captures the main mood of Chrono Trigger, in my opinion. It's so cheerful and upbeat which is how the game is meant to be played. Yes, there are some parts that are sad, but this song brings to mind Crono and how Spekkio was so willing to help him train and get stronger. I love this song and I love this game! Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu did a great job with the Chrono Trigger music!

Biogems is one of my favorite matching games because it incorporates animals and strategy. Each gem has a power behind it whether it be healing, regular attacking, special attacking, defense, counter, or rage. Essentially, you fight evil animals and do your best to upgrade your stats to beat the final enemy.  However, it does get difficult at times so you might need to fight previous battles in order to increase your stats. Overall, It's a very cute game with some replayability to it. This game was developed by Mochigames and can be played on kongregate.com.

Cluesweeper is similar to minesweeper, but more interesting. Instead of the numbers representing how many mines are around your current position, they indicate how many useful clues are close by. You have a time limit and have to solve the case, even if you don't have enough clues. The game does a good job of accommodating people who just want to click around at random, so it is fairly easy. Plus, you can buy items from the shop that help you solve the cases quickly. It's a short game, but has this charm about it that makes me come back every once in a while and play it. This game was developed by nerdook and can be played on kongregate.com

I really like this track from Final Fantasy X because of its solemn undertone. This song plays while Yuna is in the Via Purifico and has a slightly sad mood to it which is emphasized by the piano. I felt that the song effectively captured the essence of the atmosphere and how the Via Purifico was meant to kill off summoners. Nobuo Uematsu did such a good job with this one! I'm also replaying this game and am fairly close to the end, but I'm trying to unlock a couple of abilities on the sphere grid. Praise be to Yevon! Oh wait...

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for the DS was the first game I played that wasn't turn based. It's been a while since I played it, but I enjoyed the game. The idea of the pacts with Espers was interesting and I loved doing the sidequests that enabled me to form them. The main storyline of the anima and the aegyl was thought provoking and was balanced out by Penelo's cooking sidequests which were lighthearted and comical. I liked the variety in the quests and that the graphics were similar to Final Fantasy Tactics A2. My favorite characters were Kytes and Basch because they dealt the most damage with their skills. The game is fun to play and makes it easy for characters to collect raw materials for constructing weapons. What made the game so fun was the interactions between the characters. This is a really fun game, but requires some serious level grinding. If you're okay with that, this game is perfect for you!

This is my absolute favorite track from the game. The whole idea of Zeal is mystifying to me and this track completely complemented that feeling. I loved the way that the map for this time period was designed as well as Magus's backstory. This was a great game which had some great music and I definitely recommend that people play the game. This, in my opinion, is the crown jewel of Nobuo Uematsu's work.

I love this track so much. The World Ends With You has such an amazing soundtrack and this song is one of my favorites. It is PERFECT as a background music track (as well as a ringtone). The song has meaning in context and a catchy tune (Takeharu Ishimoto did the soundtrack). I'm replaying the game at the moment! ^_^ See ya later yoctograms!

Okay, so this game has a lot of content that would take a while to cover, so I'm  just going to stick to the things that I love most about Animal Crossing: New Leaf (By that, I mean that there are a lot of aspects of the game that I won't mention, like Re-Tail). I like how the game makes you work for the things that you want. Yes, it's difficult to pay 298,000 bells to Tom Nook in order to add a second floor to your house, but it's well worth it. Plus, the ordinances you enact as mayor could help you come across the money more easily. There are lots of things that are time locked, so you need to play the game for a while in order to unlock more stores. The HHA, formerly known as the HRA, has a showcase in the game where you can visit the homes of other players that you streetpassed with. You can then order some of the furniture from these showcase homes. Another easy way to get items is to buy the cheap fortune cookies at Nookling Junction that cost 2 play coins and see if you have a lucky ticket. The tropical island is a great way to earn money since you can catch bugs, go deep sea fishing, and play minigames with your friends. Personally, I think that it's easier to have the digital copy of the game so that I don't have to change game cards out when I just want to do some minor things in Animal Crossing. Oh, and the 7pm music is pretty awesome.

The World Ends with You is one of the best games I’ve ever played. There was good character development, amazing music, plot twists, and Sho Minamimoto, one of my favorite villains of all time. After all, everybody loves his catchphrases like “SOH CAH TOA!” or “So Zetta Slow!” The combat system takes some getting used to, but it’s still relatively easy to learn. The concept of the Reaper’s Game was clearly well thought out and executed and the shops the players could use were pretty neat as well. The idea of imprinting thoughts into other people’s heads was also unique and helpful at times. I liked how I could buy the CD’s for the songs playing in the background and how there was a tin pin game, which I horribly failed at. Someone recommended that I play this game a couple of years ago and I am so thankful for taking their advice. Eventually, I plan on buying my own copy of the game soon and replaying it. Overall, TWEWY is such an amazing game and I highly recommend it to people who haven’t played it already. Now go kill some noise! F this game to high heaven!

This is one of my favorite tracks from Devil Survivor Overclocked. It just has this feeling about it that manages to accurately portray the situation of the lockdown in the game. It has a religious undertone and conveys the subtle themes of biblical allusions in the game as well. The music was composed by Takami Asano.

Fire Emblem Awakening for the 3DS is the first game I’ve played in this series. I really liked the combat system structure because it had a similar feel to Final Fantasy Tactics A2 but the graphics were similar to those of Tales of the Abyss with regards to just the battle scenes. My Character married Chrom which, despite the protests of my friends, I don’t regret. I love the support conversations that the characters have as well as the voice acting put into them. The music is pretty good, especially the final battle song which was simply amazing with the choir’s singing. There is also Downloadable Content that can be purchased in the game in order to gain access to new maps. Regrettably, I blitzed through the game, failed a couple of paralogues along the way, and didn’t unlock all the characters that I could have. I played through the game on the Normal Casual mode which was easy to beat, but I plan on replaying the game after a while and unlocking everything else that I missed.
