I couldn’t choose between her and Aventurine. I started playing HSR because of her, but I lwk lost my 50/50 on Avneturine too many times. In the end, I chose Kafka but I’m starting to regret it😭🦅
Acceptance:
Kit could barely breathe at this point. He had invited you over in hopes that he could confess his secret to you. Something he had been hiding from the start of your relationship. You see, ever since he came to Riverfolk High, his goal was to take Jentry’s qi. However, somewhere along that route he became sidetracked with you.
Gorgeous, perfect you. You two shared only one class but that was enough to get him falling. Kit was still somewhat focused on his mission, he wanted a soul to become human. However, now he had an even bigger motivation: to become human for you.
So with that in mind, he wondered why he even needed to show you his true self. Who truly lied behind the beautiful skin costume he made with precision. Perhaps it was to know whether you could still love him. Perhaps the hole, that you were different than everyone in his past was what led him to message you to come over.
And now here you were. On his doorstep, looking side to side while pressing the doorbell. Blissfully unaware of the horror that was to be.
Once Kit led you to his bedroom and peeled off his skin, he flinched back expectantly. After all, he had been alive for centuries. And in those many years, not one person had accepted him. So imagine the shock when he opened his eyes and saw you smiling at him. Not a nervous smile, not forced, but loving.
How could that be?
Kit couldn’t move closer as he feared he would ruin this fragile moment but he looked closer into your eyes. There was no fear, no disgust, only love and acceptance.
His body tensed as he saw you walk towards him. The smile was still glued onto your face before placing your hand on his cheek and caressing it.
And that’s when it hit him. You didn’t just love his persona he put up to match all your interests. But you loved the essence of his very being. And for the first time in ever, Kit didn’t run away in fear. He lowered his head and accepted the affection.

The Queen and her Huntsman
Part 0: backstory/story
In the kingdom far away, a prince being crowned king. A prince whose heart was pure as his face was beautiful. As his rule continued he found himself enamored with beauty of all sorts. In his attempts to preserve this beauty people started to characterize him as vain. This judgement had only worsened with the crowning of Prince Neige Leblanche. Some may say this was when the darkness in his heart started to grow. During political meetings, the press would gather round, showering Neige with compliments. Though Vil too had admirers, his envy only grew.
This growing tension did not go unnoticed by the press, especially when Neige was to be staying at the Schoenheit palace for a ball being hosted by the old king as a celebration for their crownings. Neige was joyful during the whole event while Vil’s undercover scowls were quickly spotted by the nitpicking crowd. This was when the darkness truly grew in his heart. The world no longer saw him as the fair, good king for that title was stolen by the more youthful ruler. Instead he was labeled as the Evil vain queen who wished for nothing more than to be the fairest of them all.
With the kings heart now of black coal, he started to run the kingdom with an iron fist. For if he wasn’t the fairest then what good of a ruler was he? Vil took all the beauty of his kingdom and adorned it on himself as he sunk into a madness caused by the media and envy.
Years later, the Schoenheit kingdom was now known as the most prosperous nation though with no results to show other than the one at the castle. It seemed the more Vil had, the emptier he felt. Another meeting was to be arranged with Neige once again coming to the castle. And this time, Vil was prepared to maintain his spot and prove to the word he was the only fairest of them all.
(Idk guys whether I should build off this. It’s a Rook x Vil)

Addicted to your love
Luka stared off in space as Alien reporters interviewed him about his performances on stage and his different tactics for winning.
*How annoying*
He truly couldn’t care less. His eyes were empty, his head down, awaiting something new to happen. Awaiting your return.
He often saw you, the walls held your name and face, capturing your beauty in a way he knew was only a fraction of your true beauty. He yearned to see you again and hold you in his arms. Luka often stayed up, gazing at him, giggling and smiling at his wanted posters. After all, how could he not? Luka may be able to regulate his bpm on stage, but when it came to his love for you, it was a force even the worst of machines couldn’t reckon with. His savior, his universe. What would he give to see you again? Every day without you is like another day in hell. How much longer must he entertain these idiots until you come back once again?
Days, Weeks, Months, even Years pass, and yet his love never wavered. Luka still stared at your posters, planting loving kisses onto them imagining it was your lips on his. How he craved that fantasy. He was addicted to your love. The one he wished he had received back when things were simpler. When they stayed in the garden, just you and him. Why did you ever leave? The stage was terrible but he thought as long as he was there their love would overpower the rest. It didn’t make sense to him to be honest and he didn’t try to make sense of it either.
Luka was finally performing once again, alien stage, final round. He successfully managed to manipulate his opponent with his practiced performance.
And that’s when he saw you.
Your eyes, body, face, you
His heart started beating faster, a pace he couldn’t even control as a childlike smile formed on his face. The professional manipulative idol is now gone; replaced with a lovesick boy.
“*My savior, my beautiful love* “ he thought as his body moved on its own towards you. His eyes much to wide and filled with affection.
The next few moments were a blur, all he could recall was the sound of a gunshot and your last few words.
Luka live with love
There was a fiew, the stage was burning down, but all he could focus on was you.
Your seemingly dead body in the ground as he couldn't do anything but stare, helpless once again.
But this time, he felt the pain, knowing this time, you wouldn't return. This time, he would have to find a way to live in a woke without you. And finally, the hell he managed to live through these years waiting for you caved in on him, paralyzing him as the fire burned his skin. He wished to be reunited to you. But the aliens greed surpassed logic.
Luka once again found himself under the operating light, but this time, he couldn't space out thinking about you returning. This time, he had to face the reality of the situation. Embrace the pain, the frailty, and the moments so unbearably shameful. This time, he had to learn to forgive himself, again and again, endlessly.
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT(again)
Warnings: Death, illness, j*bs
It started from the beginning of his career. When he first debuted with his twin sister Lynette. You were always a face in the crowd. On days when it rained and hardly anyone was on the street, you were always watching with a bright smile.
This became a routine between the two. Lyney and Lynette would perform as you watched with your undivided attention. Even as their shows gained traction and the clusters of people became crowds, you were always there in the back, smiling and applauding as if you hadn't seen the same trick done a dozen times.
As their popularity increased, so did the price to see them. That's when Lyney noticed your absence. You could hardly afford to meet the line. Despite this, you always stood out on the stage, listening to the loud crowds, knowing you were there first. And so did Lyney; he started to perform free shows, shows for a select few. The only issue was that he never truly caught your name. Sure, he bought you a bottle of Fonta ever now and then, but he never asked about any personal information.
Soon, you stopped showing up altogether. Lyney would often run off the stage to see you outside, clapping along to a show you didn’t even see. However, now you weren't there. Months passed, and Lyney would always keep his eye out for his number one fan.
Weeks turned into months, and Lyney felt his heart break. He missed your bright smile, so full and genius, something he longed to have.
After a large body of time had passed, Lyney slowly gave up looking for you. The mysterious girl who captured his heart with one glance. Eyes that seemed to sparkle in the sun.
One day, Lyney was looking for Lynette. He had a good idea about where she is, she often went to the same spot to reminisce about their childhood. That's when they saw you. It wasn’t fully clear but he swore he knew what he saw. Without even thinking, he ran after you, trying to finally shoot his shot. The figure seemed to disappear and reappear when it finally stopped outside the city and finally turned around.
A grave
That's where the figure stopped, and that's when Lyney finally understood. He sat down by the headstone with a grim expression, his heart breaking more than it should’ve. You were ill when you first saw him. Trying to get away from the hospitals, you tried to entertain yourself with the views of the street. You couldn’t afford his newer shows due to all the money going to the useless treatment. And finally, it explained why he no longer saw you; you’ve been dead all this time.
It took a while for the pain to stop. Lynnette had to cancel all their shows for the next month in order for his brother to mourn over someone he never truly spoke to.
A few months later, he went out again to look for Lynette. He knew where she was once again, but walked with uncertainty due to the hope of seeing your ghost one more time. Alas, to no avail, you were nowhere in sight. He finally arrived at Romaritime Harbor when he felt his eyes tricking him.
Bright eyes that stone like stars. It was most certainly not you in terms of appearance, but the energy of it all made his heart flutter once again.
He immediately slid over, pulling up his playful facade in order to introduce himself.
"Ah, I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting. What do I dare to ask your name?". He asked with full interest.
“I’m the Traveler," the star-eyed blonde replied.
Lyney thought of you and smiled
“I think we’re going to be great friends,” he said fondly while ushering them away. For he didn’t want to miss another shot with you.

PART 0.5
“God damn it”
It has been a day like every other. Oliver worked a factory job down on Main Street. The work was never good however things seemed to only get worse as mass layoffs began. Something about not being able to pay all of the stray dogs. Since then everybody had been on edge on who would be laid off next. Some people just left in a fit of rage and went out to find more stable work. However, word on the street was that many factories were shutting down due to insufficient funds. Meaning anyone that the boss found slightly useless would go down the drain of poverty.
These times were the most grueling for everybody. Women were usually the first to be fired as a means to “clear up space” for men. The men were faced with a blow to their ego. They weren’t able to provide for their families anymore. And lastly for the children, why they were faced to witness and grow up with it all. Despite everything spiraling into chaos, Oliver only saw the benefits. He wouldn't need to deal with so many of his co-workers bombarding him with offers to go out drinking. Either they left, dismissed, or were fired trying to prove their worth as a means to avoid the undeniable future. Oliver on the other hand, wasn't handed a great hand, but the boss favoured him in a way so he was less likely to drop Young Parsley. This was the reasoning behind why Oliver couldn’t see what's so bad. He had a home, a rather secure job, and fewer annoying co-workers who whined about money all day.
“Yo Ollie!”
Speaking of annoying co-workers
For the past few days, one of his colleagues had been trying to reach out to him. Something about Buddies having to get to know each other, ya know? No, he didn’t know, and he’d rather not know.
The man ran up to him and gave him a solid slap on the back.
How insistent
Oliver didn’t even know this man’s name. He was as busy as a bee and as annoying as one as well. He went wherever Oliver went despite Oliver’s constant attempts to shoo him off.
“It's Oliver, and please keep your limbs to yourself,” Oliver muttered, trying to speed away. However, his legs could only take him so far before tiring. And as mentioned before, his co-worker was quite insistent and seemed to have nothing better with his time than tormenting Oliver.
The co-worker, whose name is Howard, was quite infatuated with Oliver. The resolve he held, the way he hardly broke a sweat despite his slender figure. And his face was just so….proportional! Growing up, Howard only had his mom and his sickly sister. They hardly had any money and with no man in the family, hardly any way to rise. That was why when Howard was nine he signed up for a factory job and has been working there ever since. It was due to this that he never truly interacted with anyone around his age, everyone was either older or younger than him. Additionally, they are all extremely stoic and worn down from working in the factory for so long. Not the type of company a child would want after. That's when Oliver came in.
Oliver started working at the age of 9. His parents were hardly an issue. They were never present. Often traveling across the country in hopes of starting a new life, little Oliver was left with his grandma in Buffalo, New York. To support his grandma, Oliver signed up for work and has been working there since. It was easy to land the job, factories sought out children between the ages of 8-12 under the pretense that they would be more manageable and cheaper when it came to labor costs. This, however, led to children developing diseases due to a lack of healthcare and long hours. This, then, led to many of the child laborers suffering an early death, i.e., cancer, malnutrition, infectious diseases, abuse, etc.
He first met Howard during his first promotion. He was 10 and Howard was 11. It was a wonder both of them were still employed seeing that they were older; the older you became, the more susceptible you are to being laid off as you are no longer being a manageable child. They were both managing the cotton machines when Howard bumped into Oliver leading Oliver to get injured within the intricate machine. This almost led Oliver to be fired until Howard vouched for him.
Going back to the present, Howard was still following Oliver as they passed through three blocks.
“How much longer are you going to be following me like a lost dog?”
Howard just stood there absentmindedly as he stared at Oliver’s face. Despite the two working for the same amount of time. Oliver’s face seemed to be untouched by the cruel hands of time. On the contrary, Howard’s face was pale, damanged, and sootstained. His figure was frail because he had no one to go home to each night; contrasting with Oliver, who still had his grandma to aid him.
Now they were 15, no longer small children but instead the men of the household. In charge of providing for the little family they had left. For Oliver it was his grandma, for Howard it was Oliver.
Howard finally responded and cupped Oliver’s cheeks.
“Why don’t we go out to get lunch together. Just you and me.” He proposed with a puppy dog look in his eyes.
For anyone else, they would've looked at Howard and pitied him. Afterall, he never got to bond with someone other than his sickly family. In the constant presence of the ill, one might find oneself slipping into insanity. Not Howard though. Despite all odds, he stood strong against the crashing waves, becoming the rock that his world needs. But even rocks face erosion. Over the years he found himself dulling down from his usually sharp appearance. He tried to hide it, but all his coworkers took notice and pitied him.
Young lad, born cursed he was.

Once again,
DECEASED ULALUME OUT
Underestimated and Unrequited:
Warnings: obsession,blood,sharp teeth(?)
It was painful to have an unrequited love. Even more so if that love threw themselves at everyone but you. But what stung the most was not that she threw herself at men, but the fact that none of those men seemed to give two shits about her. You watched in pure envy as Grell asked Sebatsian to be her lover once again. The 12th time this week. It wasn't fair. You could treat her so much better if given the chance. Who needs Sebastian or William if she had you?
That was what started the progressive descent into madness. You watched helplessly as weeks, months, and year went by. All that time passed, yet nothing's new. Every day is the same as you stood by the side lines, waiting like a helpless dog. Believing that your master will soon realize you're the best dog there.
Soon, you hear that Ciel was hosting a dance for his close partners. And despite all odds, Grell was invited. This triggered something within you, a spark of hope some may say. Hope that Grell will notice that you're the one meant for her.
The ball was in a month, and you had planned your entire outfit, the conversations, and if lucky, the confessions. Everything seemed to go smoothly, except you didn't seem to calculate another ingredient. The others. As time ticked closer to the ball, Grell asked Sebastian day and night to be her date to the dance. Any second she could, even when they were fighting. You would've found it charming if it wasn't for another person.
But there was another thing you didn't account for as well. The insanity that came with waiting. Without even realizing it, your body took you towards Grell with a thorny rose bouquet in hand. Held so tightly that your palms dripped blood red. Her favorite color. You stood in front of her with a wide smile in your face.
"May I be your date to the ball?"
Fear settled in once you realized what you were doing. You must've looked insane to Grell. You quickly tried to wipe the blood. However, there was another part you severely underestimated. Grell wasn't completely sane either.
She grabbed your bloodied palm and grinned. All those dangerously sharp teeth were presented as she brought your hand in for a kiss.
Your heart skipped a beat, imagining the most sinful things.
"I'd be delighted," She said ever so charmingly. Or at least you had imagined.
For in reality, you never gathered the courage. For you stayed on the side lines and continued to watch Grell's endless flirtation with Sebastian. For you, a hopeless lover, clung onto the idea one day she will see. But until that day comes, you'll always find yourself in the little cave of fears and delusions.
