Kyoya could feel his eyes narrowing even more at the back of Dino’s head as the older male sat awkwardly below him, silently pleased that something as simple as a glare toward the other was enough to unsettle the blonde’s nerves, even after all this time they had spent together.
“Hn. I don’t need something as stupid as that.”
Reaching over, the younger teen grabbed the bottles and the scissors beside Dino’s hand and moved over to sit on the bed. Steel grey hues stared at the objects now resting in his lap, carefully stabbing one end of the scissors into the plastic bottle before carving away at the lid on one of the empty bottles. The skylark’s nose scrunched in contemplation as he cut along the top, not really paying attention to anything other than the object before him. Who knew it would have been this hard to cut annoying plastic with normal scissors.
Tch’, stupid…
“ Are you sure? We should probably plan something out before we waste any of our supplies.” He cautioned with a sigh, rumaging around in his backpack for a pen and a spare notebook he could use for scribbling. In the background he could hear Kyoya trying to saw open the plastic bottle, wincing at the noise and face pulling into a frown as he turned slightly on the chair, one arm hanging over the edge to glance at the shorter male. “ Do you need any help with that?” He cautioned to ask; he knew that Kyoya probably would reject the idea of help immediately, but the boy was struggling and Dino didn’t mind braving a retort to help get the job done. He paused for a moment more before he was getting up and moving over to the bed, trying to get a better look at what Kyoya was doing as he went to sit beside him, keeping at least some distance between them. “ You should try tilting the bottle a bit when you’re cutting from this angle, that way the plastic won’t nick you in the fingers.” He offered the advice with a light smile, ever cautious of the fact that Kyoya was wielding scissors.
