this has probably been said but i really think that Ralsei is kris' red horned headband from when they were younger, and kind of an embodiment what kris was expecting to become when they grew up, with the personalities with everyone in their family.

Like they thought that they would grow up to be a kind fuzzy monster, and that they would eventually grow out of their cheeky phase because the niceness must be genetic right?

so to summarise: she DID overdo it in a very much uncharacteristic one-time-only way, she's not an alcoholic, kris was never locked out of the house (they pretended to be as part of their plan to get susie to the church dark world), toriel DID try to call, she WAS worried, sans told her he saw kris and susie hanging out and not to worry and let them spend time by themselves since they're teenagers and THAT'S when she let herself get loose, she DID realise she made susie uncomfortable and feels bad about it and hopes she didn't push her away and that she'll be back because she likes having her around, she DID notice kris was upset, her air of middle class respectability is a façade and she's probably struggling with her finances just as much as asgore, she's just more careful with her money. also sans stocked up her fridge and took out the trash before he left (my man🤝)

TLDR: never fucking doubt me again. big analysis papy untouchable

DELTARUNE CHP 5 SPOILERS

OMG CHAPTER 5 IS LITERALLY THE UNDERTALE CHAPTER I AM FREAKING OUT SO BAD RN SJFVNJDN im gonna try go in order of things that i noticed but guys oh my freaking gosh (sorry for SPAG mistakes i cant care less atm cuz WTFLIP)

1ST THING, THE SANS STALL

I played the normal route and watched some of the weird route and i think you having to draw the 3 of you on the punch card/ discount card is something nessesary in playing the game, to be able to link it directly to undertale. (From what ive seen you have to do it in the weird route cuz i havent done much research in the normal route as ive only done one play through atm, so maybe the weird route is the route that is canon in terms of linking it to undertale).

if you cant remember how this links, the when you go into the skelebros basement after doing the silly codewords, you see a lab. and in one of the draws in the lab you can find a picture of three smiling faces on it, with ''do not forget'' written on the paper. in addition to some of sans dialogue in UT we know he says that he 'cant go back' and has obvious knowledge of timetimes. the theory is that sans in UT is initally from DR and due to some problems with gaster(? supposedly) he found himself in this new alternate universe/ timeline. so with more context out of deltarune we have now confirmed that 2/3 of the smiling faces are susie and kris, where before it was suspected to be sans, papyrus and gaster, or sans with his old science team from when he was sciency.

2ND THING, (i think my recollation becomes fuzzy around now) FLOWERY

GUYS LBFF HE IS GOLDEN FLOWER AND IS LITERALLY CALLED FLOWERY.

he is literally flowey equivalent. floweys theme song plays in the battle against him. he pisses me off so much. i dont think i need a crazy explaination for this icl. HE ALSO CHEATS IN THE GAME LIKE FLOWEY TOLD US ABOUT, AND HE CALLS HIMSELF OMEGA FLOWERY BEFORE HIS FINAL BIG MOMENT IN HIS BATTLE TOO HELLO????

slight add on: he literally says pacifist root. hehehaha funny pun there tony cant see what u did there

3RD THING, THE FLOWERS

okay i dont think this is in order anymore and i dont think i have enough ss or pics from my game through but each flower and their colour matches the colour and soul trait of the souls in undertale. and theyre all represented as humans (a few children). and they live with asgore, as the fallen kids did in UT after they died. again i dont think much explaination is needed becuase this is THE FREAKING UNDERTALE CHAPTER AUAUGHHHH

they also all have their 'personalities too' like kindness being a cook and also being the only flower that doesnt want to hurt us, justice having a whole cowboy get up in both games, and perseverance being a little nerd. all the flowers at some point mention these character traits in their dialogue too.

4TH THING, ASGORE

i feel like im just pointing out the obvious here, but some people have shockingly not played or got into undertale before deltarune (which is very sad imo if this is you drop everything and play ut at LEAST twice)

ANYWAYS, the golden armour and him becoming a king in his dark world. his obsession over freedom and feeling responsible being the main factor of driving toriel away. being involved in some sketchy buisness (you could interpret his slight knowledge or hints at knowing more than he should in his fights in UT along with the child murder as sketchy too iyw). him being involved in the disaperance/ death of children ( the fallen souls UT and whats hinted at Dess DT). and finally his motif playing in DR briefly is more than enough proof.

okay i cant think of much else atm cuz im currently in the stage where ive only played a normal playthough, and am working on egging and secreting the other chps and doing the same for chp5 so if ive missed anything PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME

im not going to touch on the GROTESQUE THING WE CALL WEIRD ROUTE CHP5 and the lore for the normal chp bcs i havent fully wrapped my head around everything YET but golly... this was a good one.

someone mentioned how caine started to sound less animated and more normal throughout the episodes

And the scratch abstraction was mentioned after caine saying that there are limits or consequences to his power or the overuse of it

What if scratch was in the same position or a co host with caine but became too empathetic and too human like and the consequences were abstraction, but does that mean ai can abstract too? Or is caine even an ai? Or was he human and 'lost track' of whether hes ai or human over the years

Idk gang but i feel like theres some significance here

Also saw some theories abt jax having a sister or daughter which is why hes so touchy abiut femininty and masculinity ORRRR that he was a child coming into the circus, which explains the childish room, and his masculinity thing ties into maturity and becoming a man

What if the first person who abstracted that kinger mentioned, scratch, are based on the coding site?

So if ANY BIT of what abel said was true (which I think it is) then I think this makes a lot of sense. If the first couple humans in the circus were programers who worked at C & A then the first person who abstracted's design could be based off of the scratch cat.

Or even if everything abel said was made up, it's still decently likely that one of the first people who stumbled across the computer and put the headset on, would be a programmer.

Also I think a character being based off of that cat would be pretty cute lol

am I the only one who's freaked out but rlly happy about Jax's flashback stuff being done in real life and not a type of animation.

also love how the whole episode accounted for everyone's theory's in the fandom and made a joke of it all... but it doesn't stop any of it being true *looking at glitch suspiciously*
