Hi I’m ‘██████’ but you can call me Mo or Bones, if you want to know more about me you can read this post (or this one if you're on desktop).
I’m on tumblr because I like looking at art and sorting things into piles. I primarily use my main blog to interact with or follow people but other stuff does end up here. I keep my reblog-heavy interests and personal projects to side-blogs (see below for the ones I use most often.)

As a note:
Some of the people I love most in this world are trans (both binary and non-binary.) I am not cisgendered, heterosexual, or allonormative. We love Queer people on this blog.
I have spent a lot of my life in close proximity to indigenous government and culture. We have a deep respect for the sovereign rights of indigenous people and their ways of knowing.
Some of the most beautiful and amazing people I know are from different cultures than me. I am grateful that they share their love of their culture with me and I will fight to keep myself safe for them so that I do not betray their trust. We block racist and xenophobes on this blog.
I am chronically ill and have many family members who are also chronically ill. I am passionate about accessibility and willing to call out ableism in myself and others. This goes for neurodivergence as well, which I will only approach from a nuanced perspective due to a concentrated family history of █████.
I like art, videogames, ttrpg stuff (pathfinder mostly), and horror genre type stuff in terms of my media-centric interests. Otherwise I tend to lean heavily in the direction of just liking the natural world.
I have an eyeless cat who I love very much (but I post about her on a different blog.)
Listening to my friends talk about their Champix-induced dreams and one of them keeps having ones where enormous sour patch kids standing over him while heavy breathing like terrifying-sugar-covered-gumbies. He sounds so frightened.
This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.
OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.
And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.
closing statement from an article about being intersex & the possible connection of gender expression and sexuality in intersex individuals, published in The Gay Liberator, 1970s
i’m going to be really honest with you guys i think the tendency to read the absolute worst possible intentions into every action you don’t agree with is getting too automatic and it’s eating you from the inside out
Having thought about it for a few seconds I genuinely think that this attitude of needing to ‘fix’ everything wrong with a person (not always possible with health issues and deeply ableist sentiment) sets a lot of us up for maladaptive coping and opiate addiction.
If you spend a lot of time thinking there’s some miracle substance that with make everything better it’ll be really difficult to convince you that the ‘feel so amazing you forget to feel fear’ juice isn’t it.
Started playing Big Walk and can I just say that I am a huge fan already? It’s clear that a lot of thought went into how the game influences and encourages interactions between players while keeping them accessible.
good news citizens! while i was at the beach, i successfully indoctrinated another gullible child into using LIBBY. my best friend LIBBY. the library app on your PHONE that gives you FREE EBOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS with the tap of a finger! are you sick of incurring late fees? giving your hard earned money to jeff bezos?
