Science is fucking rad.
Endless possibility
Time + location + awareness + circumstance = infinite possibility of opportunity and or misfortune. Life solved. And the universe gets bigger.
Caught in a moment feeling paralysed by the starlit beauty of the night sky, a drop of water escaped my brow and broke the stillness, distorting the space in a silent, gentle ripple. My impossible view shattered. Like a rubber band reaching its elastic limit, time had returned to present and I was once again separate from the endlessness I was admiring. There is something romantic to me about the reality of physical extent. I like to remind myself of my insignificance in life’s grand scheme; it almost removes the weight of my responsibilities. As time wanes, like it inevitably will, the physical will remain almost eternally and will surpass the era of any consciousness. The ignorance will be bliss as we are unharmed by what remains unknown.

The secret to living longer.
How do we measure the growth and deterioration of the brain? I have always believed that the brain never finishes developing over the span of a natural life. For how could it become fully developed when we have control over the expansion of its knowledge and comprehensive capabilities. So if our brain is growing and developing how exactly does it deteriorate as well? The natural mutation of cells leads to degeneration and eventual death of all organisms. However, if we use our brain enough in unexplored ways, could it somehow be possible that we can use parts of the physical tissue that were never previously utilised? And if so, what if stimulating these parts of the muscle prolong its ability to stay alive and functioning well, keeping our body running, extending our lifespan.
We are living backward, every day we trade our time for money. We are throwing away true value while working for temporary riches. At deaths door, we would give everything for a little more time when we can have it right now for free. - H. T. Onzo
My brain is an accordion stretching between fear and rationality; sanity keeps the two in place. Fear keeps me within the bounds of morality while rationality combats the necessity of the fear. Sanity at its last tethering thread can’t decide which psychological element to abandon. I am losing a battle to myself. My exterior deteriorates as the amounting internal struggle begins to toll on me as a whole. Dozing… until my body jerks. I convince myself it’s nothing, as I remain oblivious to my body operating in duality. Please don’t fall asleep; or rather do, as it may release me unto the fear as a contestant unawares.

Disgust
The absence in his stare scathes - more than any of intent or malice. His eyes are unharmed, but say more - more than the abscesses could ever. He clutches at the open gown and drags his feet along concrete nearer; scraping wheels of the frame craning the IV not far behind. He would be a handsome man, had he stayed off the junk. Aged, but almost consanguineous to Kurt Cobain- had he stayed off the junk. Arm outstretched and slouching towards me. His hand trembles. He softly requests. I draw the next to last cigarette of the pack, point the filter toward him and use it to buffer contact with black-tarred fingers. We both take a drag of our own Exhaling; an excuse to look away. Fraying at a cratered arm; resting a bound foot on its heel Gangrene peeps through dressing borders. He peers at them candidly. He mumbles: “They’re taking my toes this afternoon” I say nothing, stare absently beyond him, flick my cigarette towards the road, face downward just as he had - and follow the staggered trail of day-old blood toward the door.

Let's all stay calm and do some science.

Organic blue.
Alive, not in the obvious literal sense, but at this point I am more than merely existing. The organic surge of velvet energy rushing in continuously. Never an exact repetition, still almost predictable in its motion. An endless stretch, liquid saphires fresh and cool. A vision filtering through my eyes and flooding my brain, replacing previous thought and feeling with an over riding appreciation and simplistic calm that only surfaces in the presence of purity at its most fundamental form. Whitness, to the vast deep, an unexplained attraction for the unknown resides yet it feels familiar. A projection from deep within myself shot out across a diamond canvas, an inner reflection of epic proportion. The once constant sense of numbness fades away as calm washes over. Then, for a brief interlude in my moment of solitude, I am alive. - H. T. Onzo
