Kaneki - Bisexual . you know how people say high school musical is a bi allegory because troy has to choose between singing and basketball but he can’t choose? that applies here . kaneki is bi and i don’t think he has a preference
Hide - Bisexual . i think he has a preference for girls but i think that stems from the fact that kaneki is the only dude he’s ever had eyes for, whereas he can separate girls from kaneki enough to think they’re cute if that makes sense, but with guys he’s like ‘ugh he does x thing kaneki does’ ‘he has the same x as kaneki’ and so on
Touka - comphet lesbian… i feel like she convinced herself she had a crush on kaneki because she knew it was the thing to do and she was in severe denial of her likeylike of yoriko . she knows if she was in a romance manga she and kaneki would totally go out, yoriko would tell her as much, so she tries to adhere to that and. severely fails. i feel like touka has some internalised misogyny that makes her think she can’t go for soft girls because she’s a tough girl, shes one of the guys! yoriko helps her come to terms with her femininity and they skip off into the sunset tralalala
Yoriko - pansexual. get it because bread is pan. i’m kidding but i cannot see yoriko being particularly picky with partners, she just wants someone trying and kind. i think she had a crush on takeomi as a kid because she admired his resolve, and that transfers to her crush on touka in the future. yoriko likes people she can admire and who are strong
Rize - the biggest man hating lesbian ever, actually . she kills and eats men because she’s wants there to be less of them on this planet . i think she had a crush on sen takatsuki because she felt connected to her thru her writing… parasocial rize stop writing rpf of sen takatsuki ffs
Tsukiyama - obviously he’s fucking gay why r u asking me. he thinks women are aesthetically pleasing and maybe confuses it for sexual/romantic attraction, but he never ends up dating a woman so it’s like 🤷♂️
Kanae - i think kanae has a very complicated relationship with sexuality (obviously) and also gender. i personally see kanae as genderfluid and i doubt they’d ever figure out their sexuality, certainly not with you know the limited lifetime of it all . i don’t think kanae is attracted romantically or sexually to tsukiyama, but rather more admiring and wanting to be him, but kanae is young and struggles to come to terms with those feelings. if anything at all ill say kanae is demiromantic and demisexual, and definitely queer
Chie Hori - chie is not interested in a relationship until she is very very old! she has places to be, she doesn’t want to have to drag someone around. if she ever got a partner, she would want them to love travel and maybe even have a career centred around it like herself . i think she might be bisexual or omnisexual, but she’d prefer non-men because men can kind of be creepy regarding her appearance . tsukiyama is more than enough men in her life
Yoshimura - he’s always said he’s straight but i think he did a little experimenting in his youth, realistically he’s probably omni or something but comphet 👌 he has so much love to share in the world
Yomo - the man u’ve all been waiting for oooo u guys r gonna hate me… yomo is unlabelled, i just don’t think he gaf enough to label himself honestly . i think yomo has the capacity to have romantic feelings (im not sure about sexual feelings but idk) but i think he struggles to register what those feelings are. i think he had a crush on uta when they were younger but he just thought it was him feeling grateful that uta wanted to be his friend . i doubt he’ll ever get into a romantic relationship, kind of as a form of self-preservation because he’s already experienced enough loss and he doesn’t want to end up like arata and that kind of thing scares him . he will stick to his found family thank you!
Koma - girl look at him. koma has had a history of doing drag and singing the best karaoke when he’s drunk . he is GAY! he and irimi are in a queer platonic relationship and they are a package deal . they’re in a lavender marriage actually and they’re bffs forever, i think they have a traumabond cus i figure they joined anteiku around the same time and clung to each other as a result . they maybe dated for a while and then realised Yeah no
Irimi - irimi is bisexual with a massive preference for women to the point where she has had no crushes on men, but she is capable of crushing on them ok? she and koma are both lowk lgbt but they have jobs right now so they don’t care
Hinami - i think hinami is aroace . she’s uninterested in romance and conflates her admiration for kaneki for a crush , she’s unfamiliar with the feeling of seeing someone unrelated to oneself and feeling familiar for them, so she doesn’t have the vocabulary to say she sees kaneki as a brother . i think when she’s older she might adopt children and take care of them, or run a daycare for ghoul children or something . she has a lot of love to give
Nishiki - listen here. this is important. nishikimi butchfemme. nishiki is a he/him lesbian and i won’t take critiques because he is annoying as a man but forgivable as a woman
Kimi - femme lesbian as i just said… she and nishiki are in deep crazy lesbian loves
Banjou - he doesn’t know yet but he’s pansexual
Roma - she has a terrorist organisation so she doesn’t gaf right now. i think she’s aromantic and in her youth she slept around with all sorts of people, she doesn’t really care about whom she was just having fun and joy! and good for her
Itori - lesbian. her feelings for uta were that he’s an ugly pimply bitch! i don’t really see her as someone to settle down, i kinda see most of the clowns as polyamorous or adjacent, she probably has a couple of human girlfriends who trail after her like puppies . no she doesn’t tell them she has other girlfriends she’s a terrorist with love i think she doesn’t care
Uta - polyamorous and gay i think. i don’t think uta is particularly romantically inclined, he’s kind of apathetic in that regard . he and yomo totally hooked up at least once and it was absolutely embarrassing as hell
Donato - he definitely isn’t gay but he isn’t straight either, he’s a christian

Ayato - he doesn’t gaf about anyone but himself sorry… for serious i think he’s bisexual with a lean towards fem people, but he doesn’t have time for that right now
Miza - i think miza was raised to believe that her main goal in life was to reproduce, so she sees herself as straight, but i think if she was raised otherwise she might be omnisexual and care less about romance in general, she’d see it as a pleasure in life rather than a necessity
Naki - naki doesn’t know what gay and straight is but he believes in kissing the homies goodnight and the butterflies in his tummy have NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT. he’s totally queer he just doesn’t have the language to describe himself
Shikorae - shikorae has bigger issues but they’re definitely not cisgender
Tomoe - i’m not really sure about tomoe, i can’t see them dating a man at all. i think she lowk might have a preference for nonbinaries.. good for them! she’s probably a demigirl or something too
Torso - torso is kyssexual which basically means i want him to kill himself

Arima - arima is kind of above sexuality lowk, i feel like it’s something he’s never considered and it’s never occurred to him that he might feel feelings for people because he just. doesn’t. so i figure he’s aromantic and probably asexual? i haven’t read Jack so i feel kind of hesitant saying this when there might be info i don’t know
Kiyoko Aura - i once read a fic where aura had unrequited feelings for akira mado’s mother and it has forever changed the way i see aura. she is a lesbian and a lesbian auntie at that. i would like to add that i think she is a trans woman and she leans more towards t4t
Houji - gay gay gay business gay! he’s gay but he doesn’t have time for that! he’s gay and he’s well put together and he’s GAY! hes gay in the same way gustavo fring is gay, does that make sense i hope it does
Marude - i’m including marude because i personally WOULD… i know he’s probably straight but no he isn’t he’s bisexual and he effed around in his youth LISTEN TI ME!
Juuzou - juuzou is unlabeled and i think he experiences little attraction except to the very special people in his life . i ship juuzou x hanbee they’re just cute to me , so i think juuzou is asexual and demiromantic
Mougan - i like mougan because he’s a gay auntie, the str*ight members of the CCG might look up to kuroiwa, but the gays are adopted by mougan, particularly one koori ui… koori ui is mougan’s transgender nephew i don’t actually think they’re related but that’s their dynamic.
Ui - speaking of!! he’s bi but he’s bi himself . fucking loser. hairu doesn’t like him back and when she dies furuta doesn’t like him back either he’s just a total utter flop!
Mutsuki - i think he’s obviously gay and in a healthier situation i think he’d be t4t, because he struggles to trust cis men due to his past. maybe he’d be able to in the future but it would take a lot of work and a shitload of therapy
Akira - akira is bisexual but she’d do better in a relationship with a woman: she’s a lot more nitpicky with men and can tend to see flaws in the smallest things, but far more lenient with women and tends to give them the benefit of the doubt😭 obviously this is flawed logic and internally misogynistic but i think it stems from her relationship with her parents: i figure she remembers less of her mother and thus sees her as perfect in her head, where she was closer to her dad so she could point out his flaws. as she grows older she would nip this in the bud and fix her bias
Urie - urie is gay but in extreme denial. he wants to carry his father’s good name and the only way he sees fit to do that is by having children, and the only way he sees to do that is by marrying a woman and having her bear his children . i think by the end of tokyo ghoul’s narrative he would’ve discarded that opinion and accepted himself for who he is rather than always striving to be something more
Take - IN DEEP DEEP GAY LOVE WITH RENJI YOMO! i feel like take is demisexual but he might catch feelings quickly and hold them for a very long time because he kinda knows his own type, which is RENJI YOMO BOIIII!!!! but yeah.
Hairu - hairu is omni but i think she has a preference for feminine presenting people, i said this a while back but i think she has a fat crush on both kiyoko aura and arima, both unrequited LOL not cus she isn’t cute but because both are too old for her

Hsiao - she has never even considered going out with a man and it’s entirely warranted i mean have you seen how ishida draws her? even her own author sexualises her for being curvy, she’s been done with men from the jump, she’s a lesbian (sorry for the ishida slander but it tends to slip out)
Takeomi - takeomi is another ex-comphet warrior but he is GAY! i feel like he struggled with being gay as a teenager but sorted through his feelings before joining the CCG, and he had a massive crush on urie for a long period of time he’s just rlly good at concealing it because he’s nonchalant .
Furuta - furuta is very complicated to me. obviously he has attraction to rize, or the idea of a relationship with her, but honestly …? i feel like he might be aroace and comphet and whatever the comphet equivalent is for allosexuality . i don’t think furuta has ever felt real romantic or sexual attraction, but just an illusion of it that he knows he’s supposed to feel because it fills the hole of wanting to do fun things til he dies .
Shirazu - shirazu reminds me of kanji persona 4: he’s totally pansexual but gets discouraged cus his old friends at school ribbed him for it, so he’s in denial kinda . i think joining the quinx helped him accept himself for who he is after a while and deal with the fact that he isn’t just attracted to women even though he’s more brazen about women than any other gender
Takizawa - i think takizawa is bi and trans, but conflates his feelings of gender envy towards cis men for being gay . however i do think he would like to be with a man or a woman, i think he’d just struggle with liking both because he wants a life partner and well he can’t have both in one! someone get him a bigender baddie STAT!
Saiko - animesexual IM KIDDING IM KIDDING saiko is a lesbian!!!! i just know she has the most outrageous tweets on her profile i shan’t even get into it oh the horrors… saiko x hsiao 4EVER!
