I would like to reintroduce my formal but polite pretty please request for a live album (of the regular setlist) and an accompanying live secret song album (because I know these audios must also exist) pleaaaase Taylor! kthanksweloveyou
This (a quote from my book The Anthropocene Reviewed) was my overall attitude to the world until I was about 24. But it is no longer the way I look at the world.
It turns out that there is pleasure in simply giving what you have, even if--as is generally the case--what you have proves insufficient.
All my books are infuriating failures in important ways. I am constantly running up against the limits of my talents. In other ways, they are good. Whatever is good in them comes from my willingness to go deep and be honest even when it is hard.
When I think of my work, it is hard to think of anything but its insufficiency. And yet, it's valuable to give as much as I can, whenever I can--not to "fulfill my potential" or whatever, but because we are only here for a little while, and there is more meaning in possibly cringe but earnest effort than there is in the cold pleasure of ironic disdain.
why does it seem like people move on so quickly from everything now......i think it's because we're force fed so much content that lacks effort and polishing like when i was younger....when the avengers came out in 2012 it plagued my dashboard for a good 2 years at least but now when a superhero movie comes out people are over it quickly.....taylor hasn't even released 1989tv and people are already desperate for info about the next album.......there is just so much content!!! all the time!!!!!! that we don't absorb and enjoy things the same
do you want me. have you wanted me. will you want me. when will you want me

what if our economy was based on disabled people and the elderly getting their basic needs met and not bald white man getting big big big boat
As annoying truly annoying it is when your parents tell you how your mind will change as you get older you need to listen csuse you literally are them. Like I used to hate onion and my mom was like yeah I used to hate onions but when I turned 17 I loved them and it was like whatever motherfucker and then I turned 17 and like. God damn I fucking love onions. And I love my mommy. Audience lets- give it up for mommy. Come on, clap! Come on everybody! Yeah! Whooo!
