I maintain that the best summation of my feminist beliefs are that men and women are not fundamentally different. There are a few quantifiable differences if you average out every woman and every man, but they are not qualitative. And most of them are socially constructed, and would be fixed if we started treating men and women the same. Neither is inherently smarter, neither is inherently kinder, neither is inherently more stoic or stronger or angrier or softer. Everyone is obsessed with the differences between women and men, with finding them and creating them and distancing themselves from the "other half". It's fucked up

tbh gender is the same thing as race in that it originates as a system of sorting people into categories for the purpose of exerting control over them. It's something that is given a truly insane amount of sway in our lives and how we choose to perceive the world and I have no patience for any actions that maintain it as anything other than a social game. It's no coincidence that we're chest-deep into a cultural flood of fascist sewage and half of everyone, regardless of political persuasion, is furiously clutching at the ideological trappings of gender at the cost of somebody-or-other. This game sucks. You have to kill it. Animosity only makes things worse, only reinforces the system, only makes the game go on longer, go deeper. There is nothing outside of social enforcement that makes any of us meaningfully different from one another, and I'm seeing more and more people say that social enforcement is good, actually. I truly, actually, genuinely hate that. I loathe it. That only exists to create a social order; one which has its origins in Women being invented to belong to Men. Much like the origins of race.

anywayyy i will not be made to feel crazy or delusional for believing that people shouldn’t have to earn their place in the world. that everybody should be afforded dignity, even beauty, and life, regardless if they have ‘worked hard’ or checked a box or not. regardless of who they are and where they are born. the laziest person in the world is not less deserving of happiness than the most hardworking person. deserving means nothing. free your mind of the idea of deserving and you will begin to be able to think!!
