Med school is tough
Day 2 and I’m already behind. Wth.
Something I always say in study panels, etc. is that you can never be ahead in med school and that is ok. That is how everyone exists and we are all actually ok underneath it all.
It will be ok!
Once you graduate it’s the same. There’s always more. You do what you can, and if you’re trying hard you’ll be OK.
Something I remember a fourth year telling my class during my first year was “get used to always feeling behind. That’s normal.” You just do what you can everyday, and that’s alright!
saw this going through old tumblr just now. reposted this while applying for med school.
now that im a 4th year in clinicals, i will also reiterate: you will feel behind, but that’s ok. you do what you can and to your patient, doing your best is sometimes all you need.
