Rex and Danny are long distance friends like their parents who are engineers and chemists. The two would make loads of calls, chatting in their socials and gaming online off school hours along with their mixed friend groups.
The Fenton parents taught their 3 children on how to defend themselves in case they were being harassed/stalked. Jazz and Dani being the most eager to use those martial artist skills, but Danny being a lil more hesitant bc he thinks he could accidentally send someone to the hospital.
Compared to the main AU, Caesar and Jazz are friendly intellectual rivals instead of “forever enemies”. They may be busy in their schools/colleges but they try to find time for their younger siblings.
Dani Fenton is the Fenton’s 3rd child, she has dark brown hair and purple/indigo eyes instead of black and blue. The youngest one teases her big brother for simping at the taller guy which makes the middle child holler at her for peeking over his phone and PC.
Johnny 13 and Kitty may be hooligans but they ain’t hardened criminals, they’re just fooling around most of the time. Even having friendly motor racing sessions with Rex and Danny.
Rex’s and Danny’s friend groups meet in person and mingle well. But they do side eye the popular kids for being immature idiots so they ignore them.
The Sixes/Numbers aren’t just hardcore soldiers, they’re sort of a secret service to take out genuine threats. No wonder the world is still a stable place.
Despite never crossing paths with our main cast, the found family of assassins managed to find ways to be happy with their lives.
Agent Six cares for Dr Holiday a lot and married her, resulting in a daughter who is very scrappy.
Bobo Haha is the Numbers’ lookout/informant, but he still has a soft spot.
Vlad Masters maybe powerless but he’s still a disgusting creeper. The wealthy businessman still hadn’t gotten over the accident back in college. Despite Jack and Maddie trying to visit him in the hospital and apologize, he was the one who told them to leave and never come back. They obliged and didn’t step foot near him ever again until two decades had passed for their college reunion.
The gray haired man makes subtle insults at his so-called old friend Jack regarding his intellect and appearance. Yet has the audacity to hit on Maddie, claiming she’s wasting her time with an inferior man. Jack at first thought his college pal was joking until those remarks started to make his wife and kids really uncomfortable. Old friend or not, he wasn’t going to but up such behavior and harassment.
That includes false rumors going around that Danny was the result of an affair which made the parents very shocked and disgusted. Jack knows his wife would never cheat on him even at her worst, and their children know it too. Because there had been stories of Maddie defending herself from other creeps in isolated incidents since she was a teen. Not just her rejecting other guys despite already having eyes on Jack since their teens/young adult years.
At least the Fenton kids stand up for their parents in a very bold manner, their friends joining in on jeering at the incel. Even the occasional stranger or acquaintance would leave bad reviews just to deter him lol.
People are uncomfortable by the two-faced man who is a somewhat decent investor despite his ruthlessness.
However an anonymous tip resulted in a raid of his mansion, there was so much evidence of him stalking a clearly happy family. So many photos taken without their knowledge by hired private investigators, files and journals recording his delusional behavior contrasting reality and planning to murder Jack himself or hire a hitman to do it for him. And if Maddie refuses his marriage he’d kill her, the children then himself believing they’d all be together in Heaven while Jack would be in Hell for “messing” him up. Or killing the brats just to “restart” with her all over again with his own blood. There were even reports of him in a vehicle driving by the family’s household at night.
Who made that tip? A different private investigator or someone who’s desperate in taking down a powerful suspicious figure? Oh well, at least the disgraced businessman no longer plagues Amity Park and will be facing a long jail/prison sentence for embezzlement, stalking and privacy crimes. Also in a mental institute because of his instability.
Hunter Cain and Skulker are just two hunting rivals who overhunt a bit too much regardless of the laws. Their antics made their wives (unnamed and Ember) facepalm, and the men wound up getting arrested for killing an endangered bird. They wound up in the same cell til their release, they hated each other more than they did before.
Cw pregnancy/mpreg!
Not sure how Arturo and Opal would be born, two lil kids happily adopted by Rex and Danny? No pregnancy. Surrogate/Donor by a willing blood relative or stranger? Dunno how the kids would feel about the former.
Or one of the parents doing mpreg (maybe trans) even without the nanite/ghost powers? Hmmm… If the couple goes through with pregnancy, Danny’s understandably a lil nervous but wants to have children with his husband.
After the results came out, the Salazar and Fenton grandparents are very excited to see the little ones in the future!
Compared to the main and beta AUs, the Salazar-Fenton family is more chill and have somewhat less negative traits bc they aren’t full time heroes. Though they still have their good kind hearts to help out others.
Kekeke, this Arturo has balanced hazel-ice eye colors and smiles more authentically than his main counterpart. Still kind of a clingy guy like his sister to their parents.

Villains & Antagonists
Like canon, they’ve got varying shades of evil. Most would not and do not like each other!
The corrupted Omega Nanite from the future is supposedly unfeeling like canon Dark Dan but has no bloodthirsty streak. More akin to an extremist over minor crimes and delusions of perfectionism. The blue-white-green creature wants to “fix and reset” the world even if it meant killing off a lot of the old leaders and protectors. It doesn’t speak much just like the Alpha AI, it mostly has metallic growls.
Hunter Cain and Skulker hate each other more than their allies if you could call them that. Cain wants to kill all EVOs on sight outta hatred thou the armored ghost just wants dead trophies. So their one time teamup failed dramatically, making the heroes’ parents laugh out loud.
Van Kleiss and Vlad Masters never actually got along before the Nanite event either.
Before the latter’s death, Van says that if Vlad were in his position, he’d definitely lock both the Fenton parents in a room/reactor for “ruining” his life before the explosion. Vlad growls and says he’d only put Jack in there but spare Maddie and the children. Van laughs, saying that the self-respecting woman would much rather take her kids and run far away before marrying him. Vlad shouts back that she’s the one who chose wrong as VK continues to taunt his frenemy for having no class. Van at least tries to be more civil and open minded, even letting his followers do what they want on their free time.
Black Knight finds these men’s petty arguments so pathetic. They’re just as bad as the Consortium being overgrown brats.
Civilians
While most them are begrudgingly & kinda grateful for the duo’s services, some are scared that they’ll one day be killed by anyone if they’re an incurable EVO.
Both Casper High & Benjamin Franklin High School actually do their jobs, making sure everyone’s treated well and passing classes. No favoritism or bullying.
Casper High’s A-Listers maybe jerks but they actually seem to care for one another.
Despite Paulina Sanchez’s unhealthy obsession with Danny Phantom, she’s smart enough not to piss off the subtly possessive Rex. The teal eyed girl tried to manipulate Danny’s sisters but obviously that didn’t work. She does genuinely change and slowly let go of her obsession, not only bc her group told her to stop a lot but her parents also threatened to cut her off if she doesn’t stop seething.
Nikolai Technus may have been a former antagonist but now he’s just an annoying but well meaning salesman. He really has been trying to turn his life around.
Danny’s Circle
For all their faults, Jack and Maddie followed their gut feeling when it comes to protecting their children. Not just dodging bullets from shady people, they’re much more attentive during and after the Nanite projects. Especially after the Dr. Fell incident, they ain’t taking second chances with people like that.
The family gently tease Danny for staring at his coworker a lot, he loudly says that he’s just making sure he’s alright after a tough battle. Despite his blush and slowly smiling, he does admit that he cares for him greatly.
Jazz seriously holds a long time grudge against Caesar since he made some shitty choices. Despite her distain, it’s more of a cold shoulder treatment than a preferred outright beating, she really wants to but would most likely get sued and she’d not get into her dream college... Even thou Rex already smacked his brother before the final battle lol.
Ever since Dani the clone came into their lives, she lit up the whole house. Because during times of paranoia and darkness, she’s got Jack’s cheeriness!
Usually Tucker would watch his long time bff’s love life like a soap opera/drama. The nerd finds it both amusing yet a bit irritating that he and Rex didn’t officially date yet.
Sam ironically encourages Danny to continue pursuing Rex after the Ember spat, despite her own romantic feelings and heartbreak. She’d rather see her best friend happy since he’d be smiling at Rex’s direction and vice versa.
Rex’s Circle
Unlike canon Providence’s allegiances are a bit shaky at best, yet they have to rely on their best.
Six and Holiday were being bet on to see if they were to date. It turned out to be true which led to their eventual marriage after the World Cure.
Rex and Danny adore their daughter who also looks up to them and she’s glad to see her years younger nephew and niece be so kind!
Despite the Sixes/Numbers being a tad standoffish due to their backgrounds, they do gently tease their adoptive nephew for being so affectionate to his bf. Rex whines at his mercenary uncles and aunt to knock it off.
Even the Hong Kong gang join in on the playful teasing, claiming they can’t wait to see the future babies.
Lé Main Couple and their kids!
Sure it was a lil awkward when they hardly talked to each other after the Ember incident, but their teamwork still went swimmingly.
Personality opposites attract: confident x insecure, bold x awkward, Deredere x Tsundere, you name it! The few things they have in common are that they fight for what’s right with their powers. Aside from being wild teen boys, they’ve got good hearts.
One time Danny winds up falling asleep on top of Rex after a long day, and Rex lets him nap also eventually falling asleep. Both of their parents find out and didn’t say anything, letting them be. When the guys woke up, Danny squeaks and apologizes loudly claiming that he kinda feels soft. Rex says it’s alright and smirks at his bf for saying his body feels soft. The ice eyed boy scoffs in denial but the brown eyed boy says teasingly that he also feels kinda soft.
Rex had done a stone statue of himself with his Battle Saw at an underground party. Danny was very impressed and says he once did an ice sculpture of himself on Frostbite’s territory. The boyfriends show each other their art pics and were very intrigued. Rex is more precise with his perspective/building lines due to the machinery within him, while Danny’s style is more loose when it comes to drawing characters and creatures. Danny is more of a delicate artist with fabrics whereas Rex is more robust with sturdier stuff.
While Rex is good at science & math but Danny’s good at foreign language and science, they do help each other on the subjects they suck at. Though Danny teases his bf for kinda sucking at his native language, Rex softly remarks that if he wants to be an astronaut he oughta improve at math. They wound up playfully wrestling with Rex pining him down and Danny’s face going bright green.
When news broke out of them becoming new parents in their early/mid-20s, Rex and Danny are simultaneously happy and scared. What if the little one is born unstable, stillborn or even from a miscarriage? Thankfully Arturo and Opal are born healthy babies, one average and the other a bit small. The siblings are 3 years apart.
Jazz squealed the loudest when seeing the babies and hugging them, they’re the cutest little things in her eyes even when they grow up.
Arturo was a rather screechy baby most of the time but calmed down at 4 years old. At that age, he nudges his parents if he doesn’t like the people/place. It was definitely a sign that he’s inherited his papa’s Ghostly Wail.
Opal only cries when she’s hungry or if she senses danger as a baby. At 4 years old, she merely whines to her parents if she doesn’t feel comfortable in an area.
The hazel iced boy and heterochromatic eyed girl had inherited Danny’s fangs. No wonder their teething toys and bottles had many holes and tears since they were 1 year olds. Surprisingly they didn’t bite anyone, because they’re aware that Rex and Danny would have their toys on standby. Starting Kindergarten, they’d be chewing plenty of gum, ice or whichever hard food exists just so their teeth would be healthy.

Ho boy, this one was way trickier to write than the Rexj9 Main AU post due to both canon worlds and sources being more different from each other!
Like the other crossover/fusion AU posts, some get role changes and major villains are still villains! Some civilian/hero characters do not deserve the fandom slander/hate and I shall continue making them flawed but still good people!
Prequel
The Salazars and Fentons used to hang out plenty of times during many of their projects and collaborations. Including their children hanging out together. They really wanted to make the world a better place and are aware of evil people misusing them. So they’re more selective about their friendships in their inner circles.
Unfortunately certain villains also wanted to use nanites for selfish reasons even if it kills good people caught in the crossfire…
Season 1
An amnesiac Rex works together with his not-so-secret crush Danny Fenton who has ghost like EVO powers.
While Danny hasn’t faced the amnesia issue, he still faces school life like most youths. Though his status of being an EVO is public, he and other afflicted ones get side eyed despite being one of the more stable ones.
Yes, human EVOs weren’t treated as terribly but were begrudgingly integrated into society.
Casper High may not be bigoted/biased towards EVOs but the popular brats still have their pecking order when it comes to overall reputation.
During dinner meetings, Rex’s adoptive family and the Fentons get along just fine. Mostly discussing their sons’ futures and what they want to do if the nanite event is over. Despite some different quirks, they’d rather put up with each other over any other group combating the Nanite issue.
Holiday and Maddie get along splendidly bc they’re women in men dominated fields. The auburn haired woman giggled at the darker haired woman for kicking her former boss very hard for trying to experiment and kill their boys. Even giving Dr. Fell the middle finger just to stick it, and left Providence.
Though on more serious conversations, Maddie confesses to Holiday that her husband’s old friend Vlad Masters had reached out to them after 20 years. She didn’t think much of it but Holiday thinks that it’s suspicious he’d contact them after so long, and warns her to be careful of his true intentions.
Six and Jack yap about their lovely wives being strong women. Thou Jack is surprised at how aggressive Six can subtly be compared to him, when it comes to protecting their family. The orange suited man constantly reminds himself not to get on the ex-assassin’s nerves even if he’s in a good mood. Despite being complete opposites, Jack couldn’t help but feel more at ease with the green suited man over his old best friend who feigns politeness but then suddenly becomes mad over something or even minor things…
One time Ember put a love spell on Rex, making the big guy simp over Danny 24/7. While the ghost hybrid didn’t mind the attention, he gets overwhelmed by his excessive hugs and nuzzles. Don’t worry this Ember ain’t that bad, she’s more mischievous like Johnny and Kitty who playfully tease the duo for the lolz.
After Ember’s defeat, Rex apologizes profusely for being way too affectionate and touchy-feely. Danny forgives him, saying that the larger guy didn’t go that far or even forced himself on him. He’d be most likely mad if it were another person doing that. Though this makes Rex avoidant of him for a long while despite the forgiveness, he merely communicates with him at minimum during duties. Not so much during breaks and mixed friend hangouts...
And the poor guys don’t even act affectionate towards each other for a long time… One fearing that he’ll take advantage of the other…
Sam Manson may be a tad jealous of their closeness, but she has the decency not to sabotage their platonic and future romantic relationship. She sees how genuine Rex is compared to herself when it comes to Danny, even when the ghost hybrid easily lets the machine hybrid off after the Ember incident. So she shuts her mouth whenever the taller guy’s around and when Danny talks highly of him. It’s not just because she’s heard from him that his parents’ old friend won’t stop subtly creeping on his mom, she realizes she could’ve been no different than Vlad. She’s also smart enough to tell herself that she won’t be a rebound girl for her best friend, otherwise it’ll low-key make things worse.
Tucker Foley finds Rex to be very awesome, bc technology bonding and stuff!
Rex’s friends in and out of the country either have fun with science stuff or do playfighting with Danny and his group.
Season 2
Technus the ghost EVO hybrid tries to hack into an advanced building system, but Rex and Danny defeat him soundly via outwitting him instead of overpowering him. They’d even convince him to open up a shop where old tech can be reused for different purposes. The noisy man admits that they’re correct and loudly claims that he shall be the world’s next best inventor for old tech. With mixed results, cuz some folks are a bit weirded out while others don’t mind his genuine change. At least Technus is one of those people who preserve and archive antique machinery to recently discontinued electronics.
Valerie Gray and Circe may be former antagonists, but they still have a soft spot for the boys they’ve once romantically loved. They aren’t completely hateful exes, those guys are genuinely good. They feel like they’re better off taking their anger out on the real villains for trying to manipulate them into harming innocents. Maybe they become good friends over their lost loves? Also one of the reasons why the main heroes managed to work things out together. The ladies firmly told them to stop avoiding each other like that and talk.
After several failed dates and romances with other characters, Rex and Danny finally have a long heart to heart talk about their romantic denial and close contact avoidances. They really were that scared of losing each other from the villains despite the long avoidance period, way more so than the girls they’ve once dated and cared for deeply.
Unlike Rex and Danny getting along just fine (platonic or romantic scenarios), Caesar Salazar and Jazz Fenton do not get along at all as teens/adults. Despite what other readers may think, these 2 wouldn’t get along half the time especially after the S3 finale! But they do actually tone it down after their future nephew and niece are born.
Jazz thinks Caesar works way too much and is a jerk with bad social skills, not just bc of their ages different from emotional maturity. He thinks she coddles her brother a bit much and is too immature to enter advanced level classes despite her excellent grades.
Hilariously, Caesar tries to be civil yet Jazz isn’t the most forgiving type… But she does a complete 180 when Rex is around, adoring him for being very sweet and kind to her brother. Double standards 24/7 bc she’d rather put up with Rex’s goofiness over Caesar’s insensitivity.
This makes the Fenton parents and Rex’s adoptive parents facepalm at their antics of who’s the superior elder sibling.
Poor Dani Fenton… the clone was manipulated by Vlad into thinking he truly cared about her. Turns out the bastard convinced her to pretend to be the Fentons’ long lost distant cousin.
She even assumed that Maddie broke up with Vlad just to be with Jack. She was convinced by her “father” that Maddie should leave Jack at some point so their family could be reunited. But when she spied on them, she slowly realized that the original 4 truly do care for one another. Such authentic love without a shred of cruelty.
After Vlad gets arrested for inhumane experiments and child abuse, Dani says that she’ll leave town and never return after being stabilized. But to her surprise, the Fenton family let her stay at their home with her own room. She tears up, asking why are they so kind and after everything she had done. The family says that she wasn’t the one at fault, the only one to blame is her creator. The child sobs profusely at their forgiveness and they hug it all out.
Rex sees the heartwarming scene and wishes he could remember his past. Thou at least the little one likes him back and tells him to marry her brother later. The large guy blushes hard and half yells that she’s still too young to say such things. Their relationship is still in progress and that they aren’t marrying during high school. But she giggles at him, wanting the two to get closer and would shoo away any admirer for them. cough* Paulina Sanchez
Dani may have a similar appearance and powers to her big brother but she still has to attend school. She’s more like Jack Fenton when it comes to eating a lot and Jazz with the passive aggressive quips. So she’s her own person!
When the corrupted Omega nanite (composite role with Dark Dan Phantom) emerged from the future, its actually a fusion of Danny’s and Rex’s unstable powers, not the halves of Danny and Vlad. It had been created thanks the corrupted omega nanite fusing with Danny’s ghost powers resulting in an ethereal blue-white-green glowing metallic creature, not resembling any of the two’s human forms. That new entity wound up killing its weakened original users who were hugging in genuine fear and tearing up. Then their loved ones and anyone that stood in its way, continuously absorbing any unfortunate EVO or ghost.
The future was full of dystopia, rarely the resistance fought back because he’s just that powerful. Not only the entity having the ability to hack into any device old or new, it can use its ghostly abilities undetected by radars.
It took the efforts of the present era cast to stop the unstable being. After a banged up Rex and Danny landed their final hits to it, the creature released an unholy screech and disintegrated forever. A certain Time Master smiles at their victory but then frowns seeing another problem on a time window...
Season 3
When the lesser known rogues’ gallery teamed up together and tried to take down the main heroes, they failed miserably due to their sloppy teamwork. Danny and Rex had so much fun taunting them, treating the minor villains like they’re in a game.
An insane incurable Plasmius gets slain by Six or one of the Numbers itching to kill. Not just bc the assassin’s rage took over hearing that disgusting monologue of planning to kill Jack, forcibly marry Maddie and send the Fenton kids to boarding school for “reeducation”.
When Six reveals this to his wife, friends and the teens, they’re pretty shocked at this. But he said that it’s like putting a rabid animal out of its misery, such a vile creature couldn’t be reasoned with.
Danny doesn’t know how to feel about this, his arch-nemesis has abused his ghost powers just to become rich and steal mom away from dad. One side of him thinks it’s a relief that he wouldn’t bother or hurt them again, his other side thinks that a max secure prison is more “humane”.
Meanwhile at Abysus, Van Kleiss muses that his on/off frienemy was more unstable than he was. The evil leader really did had enough of the rich guy’s whining about not obtaining a wife and kids.
Rex comforts a distraught depowered Danny and says a heartfelt speech, “I don’t care if you’re depowered, you’re my boyfriend. The funniest guy to be around despite having a cranky side! The quickness, stealth and evasion to my durability, stamina and heavy hits! I love you for who you are! Not what you are or what you have!”
The skunk striped teen stops being sad for a bit, realizing that their relationship was more than physical attraction and being powered youths protecting their turfs.
Danny managed to regain his powers in a painful fight against the tougher rogue ghost EVOs who had a bounty on the teens’ heads. This makes the lean guy smile and fight harder with his boyfriend.
And Rex fought against the transformed Consortium after activating his huge Omega form. The child pouts and crosses his arms, “I know dad, I just thought if I and Opal were born with you and papa’s powers together, it’d be easier…”
He boops the child’s nose as he lands on the soft grass, “Hey now, who said it’s going to be easy? I actually had a harder time than you, Opal and your papa did in flying.”
The lookalike son tilts his head, “Huh? Really dad?”
“Yep, I actually activated my powers later than you did.”
The firstborn sheepishly said, “Oh.”
“Well, think of your flying lessons like baby birds trying to perch or jump from the top.”
“Ah. Then jumping practice it is. I wanna activate my metal legs like yours!”
“Ok little one, just try not to land on anything too soft.”
Nearby, Danny and Opal are watching the flying lessons go on. The heterochromatic eyed little girl on her papa’s shoulders says softly, “Papa I’m not ready to fly yet. I’m a little scared.”
He says, “It’s ok, you’ll try it out if you’re ready someday.”
The lightly tanned child then says, “I wanna learn how to use my ghost powers instead because it looked easier than the EVO ones.”
Danny gently says, “Neither route is easier, both sets have their ups and downs. So you and your brother must learn how to balance them out in different situations regardless of your own preferences.”
She smiles, “Ok papa, I’ll do the EVO ones next time even though they’re very heavy.”
“I know you and Arturo can do it, you two just have to be patient.”
People don’t like the modern/normal au of superheroes and powerful characters? I understand that if the characters’ powers were taken away in the canon-ish fan content, but think of this as them having a somewhat more stable life.
Rex and Jenny are long distance friends who eventually became lovers. This Rex is a kinda less buff but still smart and nicely-dressed. This Jenny has a similar appearance to her human disguise in canon.
Ofc both of their friend groups tease them abt their lover but cheered them on.
Rex’s friend group is a bit bigger than his girlfriend’s due to his very outgoing nature. A mix of the Noah, Claire, Annie, Cricket, Tuck and Skwydd. The three country born kids meeting the immigrants in a park.
Jenny shyly asks Brad and Melody for romantic advice. Her friends smile at her dedication and tells her to start slow with Rex. Like holding hands and leaning on him.
Unlike canon and most canon accurate/divergent works, the Crust Cousins and their circle don’t really pick on Jenny and her group much. They’re too absorbed in being pretty and vain over being mean to most peers bc Jenny ain’t a robot here.
Hilariously they and other peers ask Jenny if her bf has a brother as cute/hot as him. Rex says his college aged brother is too old for them, he’s is most likely AroAce and too absorbed in work to actually pursue anyone romantically. They surprisingly respect those decisions thou some and the audacity to try to hit on the much older man. Caesar ain’t impressed by the attention lol.
The Teen Team are mostly a trio of punks who hate the popular kids but tolerate Jenny’s group. Though Misty, Orion and Squish turned their lives around after getting some help.
Cluster Prime is merely a rival prestigious snotty high school who thinks they’re the best in the country and world.
Not helped by Principal Vexus who rules her turf with an iron fist. Unlike the main AU, she doesn’t force Jenny or Rex to join her school. She’s too focused on her school reputation to recruit anyone.
Vega and her crew are the civil ones who befriend Jenny, Rex & their friends. They all think school rivalries are so petty and stay out of them.
Sheldon isn’t a traitorous antagonist like the main AU but he still faces severe insecurities of not being able to get a girlfriend. Not helped by the fact that his crush is already very happy around the more handsome guy.
The nerd surprisingly has the decency to shut up and not diss Rex whenever either of them hangs out in Jenny’s friend group. Bc her friends like the Hispanic’s happy cheery presence.
Jenny does gently let Sheldon down because her heart is already with Rex during a one on one talk. Sheldon doesn’t falsely accuse her of “leading him on” or pathetically scream that she’s the only one that matters in his life. He just thanks her for the confirmation before they ended the conversation and part ways.
Yet the shorter guy couldn’t help but be depressed for a long time over a lost chance, but he’ll one day find another woman to pine after. Jenny felt somewhat bad for her longtime friend, but at least she made it clear she only sees him platonically since meeting Rex.
And they got it off their chests before Sheldon could even plan on something stupid or irreversible. If Sheldon weren’t part of Jenny’s friend group or any nerdy social clique, he’d most certainly be a stalkerish criminal who can’t read the room.
If the scrawny guy were to get together with someone, it’d be that unnamed chubby ginger haired girl from “There’s No Place like Home School”. At first Sheldon felt guilty that he’s using her as a “rebound or backup chick” just bc she’s sweet like Jenny and has freckles. So he eventually came clean about his true feelings, yet not wanting to lose a close companion. To his surprise she didn’t dump him but gently told him that she too faced similar issues of one-sided romance and rebounds, yet still wanted to see others happy. So she’s a bit of a doormat, saying that she doesn’t really mind being treated like another Jenny. Yet Sheldon claims that he doesn’t want to treat her like his former crush unconsciously even if he hadn’t intended to. He realizes that he was the shallow one all along who only praised Jenny’s looks and not actually paid attention to her as a person.
The Sixes are technically still rogue-ish mercenaries shrouded in mystery/conspiracy. A tad closer to their canon selves than the main Rexj9 AU which means they hadn’t adopted the kids. Though Six and Holiday do get together and have a sweet fiery daughter doted upon by her family, Grandpa One is a softie for her.
Bobo Haha is a gruff human man who’s the Sixes’ lookout and informant. Despite his gambling habits, even he’s smart enough not to cross them. But the bearded man has a soft spot for kids and gives a bit of money to the poor ones.
Unlike canon & the main AU, this group and the teens’ groups haven’t crossed paths since their lives hadn’t actually intertwined.
Van Kleiss has a complicated relationship with his daughters Circe and Breach. Despite his wife being alive, the man is a tad overprotective of his loved ones. The guy does retain his rivalry & distain on Caesar but still tolerates Rex bc he and his friends are good kids.
Rafael and Violeta Salazar are alive. Despite being scientific workaholics like Caesar/César, they find the time to bond with their sons. They congratulate and approve of their youngest son dating a nice girl, evening letting him move to her town.
Nora Wakeman is very protective of her only daughter Jenny because the woman lost her previous daughters from so many miscarriages and shitty exes…
This makes Jenny sad and she’s more patient with her mum after this shocking revelation. Nora was seriously worried that her daughter has inherited the reproductive same issues.
But thankfully after a thorough medical checkup, the mother cries in relief that her daughter is born healthier than her.
And Jenny can have future children without issue like her cousin Glenn, they’ve talked on the phone. The Wakeman cousins finding out their dark family history of many miscarriages and health problems, understanding why their mothers are so overprotective. They’re glad to be the first ones to be born healthy.
Human!Glenn is a tad pudgy for his age but is a happy guy who loves nature. He has reddish hair like his mum but with lightly tanned skin.
Wisteria Wakeman patches things up with her sister after seeing how well her son gets along with her niece. Both sister vow not to let petty opinions and preferences interfere with family anymore. Despite the previously strained relationship, Wisteria would never poke at her sister’s past miscarriages and failed relationships.
Since Zion is born a pure human instead of a 75/100% machine, he’d have skin tone close to his dad’s, dark reddish hair, some big freckles and hazel blue sky eyes. Still a big boi bc of Rex’s genes lol, even growing a bit bigger than his pops.
Zion was born healthy and normal much to his families’ relief, if big and active for his young age. He used to cling to his mum a lot but will also whine for his papa to hold him.
As an adult, he works as a repairman for homes, vehicles and devices like his dad. Yes it’s a role shift from their main AU counterparts but at least this Zion doesn’t have too much pressure, so he’s nowhere as temperamental as the main one.
Eventually Jenny and Rex would have more children, making Zion a very happy big brother.
Corsica is a long black haired and tan skinned girl with bright brown hazel eyes. She is the sunshine of her family but with her parents’ temper. No wonder her classmates simultaneously adore and fear her. She becomes a teacher for secondary grade children.
Draven is a dark brown eyed boy with bright red hair at medium length and tannish skin tones in between his parents’. He’s actually the logical levelheaded type who bonds with Uncle Caesar the most. Wounds up working under said uncle as a junior scientist.
Raiza is a light skinned girl with dark red hair and soft medium brown eyes. The most sporty of her family and akin to her father’s canon counterpart. Don’t let her beauty fool you, she’s a beast in tennis and basketball competitions.
Dr Wakeman loves her little army of grandchildren and is protective of them like she is to her only daughter. She wonders if they’re reincarnations of her miscarried daughters, given a 2nd chance on this Earth…
And to no one’s surprise, the Salazar grandparents also dote on their beautiful grandchildren.
Gen Rex x MLAaTR Crossover/Fusion AU Headcanons + Reinterpretations!
Nora Wakeman originally wanted to shelf or shutdown her prototypes. But after Jenny’s and Rex’s pleas she begrudgingly accepts it.
Even thou the 8 were jealous of their sister’s achievements, they and Jenny managed to accept each other for their functions. The other XJs may have gotten fixed yet not have had massive upgrades for full-time combat like Jenny. But they’re still good for helping out their mum, not just being genuinely supportive to their sister. They hang out with said sister’s friends once in a while.
The small sisters are the speedy ones.
The medium to large ones are deadlier in close combat.
School life ain’t as bad as canon bc the students actually have a brain, they know not to poke at Rex, Jenny or mess with any of their friends. Even before they’ve enrolled during their sophomore/junior years. FAFO is very real & serious, especially after seeing in-person and online clips of them tearing up their OPPs.
Tremorton High and even the occasional popular brat would congratulate Jenny for snagging such a handsome young man. Though they did wound up asking if he has a brother as hot as he is, she says that Caesar is too old for them so stay away. Thou that didn’t stop a few from trying to get his number, Caesar ain’t impressed by the simps bc he’s married to his career.
Because certain villains are taken seriously, the popular brats would much rather put up with Jenny’s 24/7 simping of Rex over Sheldon’s creepiness and Vexus’ spying antics at any day. At least, the blue/white girl’s talking keeps the rumor mill going for the lolz, they have their standards and not let a genuine vile pos on their turf. They’re assholes, not irredeemable monsters.
However, in Benjamin Franklin High School people were more like a equal mix of whatever, cool and ugh for Rex. Thou the soldier boy refuses to let their remarks get to him.
Speaking of Rex’s and Jenny’s friend groups, they get along just fine after they’ve been introduced to each other.
Kenny Mogg sometimes acts their waiter/cater for their single to group dates.
Young Queen Vega and her group do occasionally drop by on Earth after the Consortium’s defeat. The robo crew get along with the Earthings just fine but were a tad wary of the Teen Team due to their controversies. (Misty, Orion and Squish)
While the disgraced Teen Team were once greedy glory hounds, they realized that Jenny and Rex were genuinely good people who are helpful with or without the payment. The trio may have butted heads with the couples’ friends, but they were truly sorry that their stupid pride and prejudice got to their heads.
The wild trio may technically be on our heroes’ side but they’re loose cannons compared to the semi-retired mercenaries and their kids. Said older generation facepalm at their hard-to-kill habits of wanting/demanding a lil too much money.
Despite the long tension between the Sixes, they’ve managed to patch things up overtime. Especially with their adopted children telling them that arguing too much is bad, on/off duty.
Trey and Skwydd tend to tussle/playfight and the Cajun man gives his adoptive son noogies.
Sometimes the big man would scruff the squid boi by his hoodie like a kitten. This makes his adoptive cousins laugh and him pouting, swearing to prank them back.
The third most dangerous man and his squishy son tend to be the cooks of the family. Serving up big portions.
IV may be a broody man but he softens up for his boy Tuck.
Though the bandaged man did teach his boy some deadly moves with those bandages (ex. asphyxiation), Tuck says he’ll only use those movesets as a last resort. IV merely replies and smirks, “Ok, but I still expect you to use them one day. I ain’t letting my prodigy be outshined by his cousins.”
One time IV was changing his bandages and his son walked by the open door. Instead of looking at him with disgust, Tuck looks at him with pity and hears how severely burned IV has gotten in a mission, before adopting him and the gang. The one eyed man would occasionally still feel the phantom pain despite taking cream and painkillers.
One time in public, some idiots thought IV was wearing a costume and dared him to take those bandages off. But before a quick movement could unravel the white linen, Tuck grabs his arm and begs his old man not to do it or else he could potentially charged for indecent public exposure. But IV says it’d be so funny to see their reactions of his severe burn scars and missing eye, just to teach them a lesson. Thankfully, the idiotic young adults back off seeing how serious the man is and left. Tuck sighs in relief and smacks his dad’s shoulder for nearly embarrassing him like that.
Five and Cricket listen to old and new rock music together.
Cricket says that Five is her true mum bc her own parents didn’t accept her for who she is and kicked her out for going EVO. Five says if she could go back and beat em up for her. Thou Cricket says it’s ok they’re not worth the scaring, beating or even theft of their assets. The rocker woman obliges for her beautiful daughter.
Rex x Jenny, The Main couple themselves
Rex has these huge “I love my gf/wife!” and shorter guy loves taller wife energies. He doesn’t mind being a tad shorter than her lol.
They can easily pick each other up and carry one another. Especially after Jenny has had her system upgrades where she’s more lightweight but still durable.
Rex’s jet wings (Boogie Pack) are larger than Jenny’s sleeker ones. Think of a larger bird wing in contrast to the smaller ones lol.
He loves her for her personality and lets her lead the way on most dates. Cuz he’s a totally sweet gentleman for her! She’s more than a pretty face that’s for sure!
The young soldiers can be very hot tempered at times but have good hearts. Jenny and Rex do have a few arguments like any couple, they were light to mild and only took out their anger on the OPPs. Despite being powerful teenagers, they have to behave in public.
Despite her & Rex being very much alike, her anger is sometimes played off for laughs. But his rage is taken more seriously by the public… He sure can make a scary growl with glowing blue/white eyes and circuitry lines…
When either of them are angry, a kiss and nuzzle calms the other down.
Rex and Jenny are kind of a parallel to Holiday and Six, bc the tough guys are so into strong willed yet still kind women.
Table Tennis, Tennis and Basketball are their go-to sports. The training rooms tend to get a lil wrecked bc of their powers.
If they get injured and/or have a scar(?), they’d often kiss the face, shoulders & arms to feel better.
One time during training, Rex was in between Jenny’s thighs and he kinda smiled at the predicament. He’s already got wild fantasies of her, not just remembering the many times she’d lay her head on his lap…
Then he got pinned underneath her on the floor. She’s on his back and goes near his ear with a cheerful tease, “I win!”
He smirks, flips her around and smooches her metal cheek with a deep purr, “Gotcha.”
She squeaks and blushes with her pigtails perking up, “Mmmm!”
When they became adults, they’re taller than their teen selves and are about the same-ish height side by side. 6+ ft tall but not close to 7, an inch or 2 taller than Agent Six lol.
Rex likes Jenny’s change from the pigtail style to ponytail. He said it makes her look more mature including her hair down during formal events.
She blushes and thanks him, saying that his now deeper voice sounds more mature and attractive too.
Ben 10 fans, do y’all like Gwen and Ben as twins better than cousins in rewrites & AUs? Including cutting out one set of parents and some family members for plot purposes.

I’m not doing every episode rewrite/remake bc I’m cutting out some episodes for this AU’s plot purposes, more like making composites and listing key events? I only rewatched some episodes I like/have interest in and reread the official sources to refresh my memories.
Some characters get their adaptation heroism or relationship overhauls, while some antagonists/villains are still the same and aren’t to be sympathized!
Prequel
The Nanite Event happens thanks to Van Kleiss’ greed for power and need for control. He has killed the Salazars in the ensuing explosion.
Rex still faces amnesia/rebooting issues, not helped by his very rebellious and determined attitude. But he has his recorded journals and trustworthy kin on standby to help him with bits of his past.
A kid Skwydd, Tuck and Cricket get chosen by Trey, IV and Five after Quarry gets defeated soundly by the mercenaries and arrested. They’re now Rex’s adoptive cousins to their surprise. Sure the 3 were wary of an offer to become their wards/kids to such dangerous people, but Rex convinces them that they have a true heart despite their tough exterior. And they now have a roof over their heads instead of scrounging for scraps. Six gave his siblings pointers on how to raise developing kids, not just teaching them fighting moves.
They’re all technically an offshoot of Providence since the on/off mercenaries had the decency to properly bond with their adopted kids. Not just because Six still hasn’t really gotten over White Knight and Dr. Fell for attempting to murder his son. The guy’s that protective of his boy and wife, so don’t disrespect them when he’s around.
Sometime in high school, Noah, Claire and Annie befriend Rex and his adoptive cousins. An odd bunch of science enthusiasts and tough guys for most outsiders sure, but they’re getting along just fine. The mercenaries’ kids even taught their civilian friends how to do basic fighting and self-defense skills. Permission by their parents.
“Season 1”
Instead of outright harming Rex, Van Kleiss tries to tempt the young warrior into joining his side since he apparently knows about his past. But Rex refuses, saying that despite his adoptive father and parental side’s tough love on him and his adoptive cousins, their family bond is genuine in and out. This familial relationship contrasts Kleiss’ two faced nature on his own daughters Circe and Breach, blood and adopted.
Still, Van Kleiss tries and fails to convince Rex to join his side. The black-gray haired man may genuinely want him to join his cause but he’d have to convince his daughters to spy on him and slowly turn him against his loved ones. That didn’t really work since Rex is already happy with his adopted family and the dark girls are slowly reconsidering listening to their father…
Unlike the canon love lives of Rex and Jenny, they’re seriously lovey dovey to each other at first sight. Not just bc of machinery bonding but similar traits like hotheadedness and tough side. Their romance goes from lots of cuddling and play fighting to intense deep makeouts.
And the public sorta adores their relationship not just the two being the best fighters. Despite the bias against EVOs and machines, they have no choice but to rely on their services.
Surprisingly Nora Wakeman already approved of her daughter dating Rex bc he’s a good young man. She is good friends with Rebecca Holiday because they’re women in men dominated fields. Not just checking up on their kids and future in-laws for repairs/recovery.
Jenny and Rex convince Nora to upgrade Jenny’s robo sisters for back up combat and light training, not just bc Jenny wants to actually bond with them. Rex thinks they’re adorable, the other XJs like his funny side and tell him to marry Jenny so they can spoil whatever future niece/nephew shall arrive. The couple blush at this, saying that while they truly love each other they need to wait a few more years to get married and settle down.
Brad Carbunkle and Melody Locus are a couple who are in Jenny’s friend group, they’d go on double dates with her and Rex. On the flipside, Tuck, Annie, Noah and Claire join the group dates too.
Melody was free from her creator/father after making sure there were no trackers or control chips in her systems. She’s clear from her former “dad” which makes her lover and friends glad.
So there’s kinds less romantic drama from most folks they know? At least Rex’s admirers were mature enough to see him happy with his lover even though they’ve missed their chance.
Tuck gets with Annie despite the young lady being a tad afraid of his foster dad IV. Thou the mummy man says she’s a good kid despite being the unlucky type, she could use it to her advantage. And it might’ve saved her before, even if she hadn’t known of the imminent danger.
*Ah fuck it, after rewatching a few Mlaatr analysis videos and seeing some good ol’ yuri art, I’m making Sheldon a genuine antagonist who goes to prison. Or even gets crippled/killed after getting lots of karma in some or most of my crossover AUs. Cuz I ain’t putting up a creeper in my works regardless of how nice other fan creators are! I’m not obligated to follow every fan idea bc fan headcanons aren’t universal!*
Except that Sheldon Lee Oswald has already lost the game before even trying. If he were a traitorous villain he wouldn’t just be an incel who sees all “non-nerds/scientists” as supposedly shallow, he’d be a bigot in “love.” Hypocritically dissing Rex for being “unnatural” but creeping on Jenny despite both of the couple being technically EVOs here.
He went as far as to disguise himself as the Silver Shell and spy on their alone time. He tries to do their jobs which went alright, but the public is less tolerant of his antics because he only argued at Rex and praised Jenny. Not just trying to sabotage his supposed “love rival” despite there being an enemy who’s real tough to beat. Not helping Rex in a fight yet hitting on Jenny made the public’s perception sour that much.
After his true identity is revealed, he gets publicly humiliated by the mob and doesn’t return for a long time.
“Oh, it’s him. The pathetic stalker who couldn’t even see my relationship status of me being already taken.”
Jenny tells her bf that Sheldon was not even a friend or associate in her circle, just some guy who’s obsessed with her. In her school and hometown, she shoos him away a lot despite already having eyes on Rex 24/7. At least her schoolmates taunted Sheldon for trash talking her man, who’s clearly more kind, handsome and muscular than the scrawny nerd.
“Um dude, she already has a hawt soldier boyfriend! They can handle each other in anything!”
“Yeah man, just find another robot girl to date!”
“I wonder of there are other pretty boys in Providence or their allies? Powerful EVO or not!”
“Yikes and I thought I was bad, but at least I can accept no for an answer and move onto someone else.”
Brad and her friend group tell him off for hitting/creeping on someone’s who’s uninterested and already taken. They used to just let him hang around out of pity since they were all kinda below the popular kids in school. But the last straw was him stalking Jenny and disrespecting her boyfriend during their work. So they blocked and cut him off if he ever tries to manipulate/guilttrip them again.
Unfortunately the delusional idiot assumes that Rex “corrupted” her programming with his nanites, thou that’s not how it works. Both warriors actually met on their own accord and bonded by their own free will, no nonconsensual modifications.
Sheldon even went as far as to call Rex’s adoptive family fake/pretend and falsely accuse his father’s side of being unscrupulous serial killers. Yep, his family saw that shit online and nearly planned to go back to their old ways.
As of certain types of antagonists…
Killgore is merely an unthreatening Robot that Rex and Jenny babies/plays with instead of trying to outright destroy. The couple treat him like a harmless kitten despite his popularity and many humans follow suit. Treating him like a talking doll instead of a threat is rather amusing.
Hunter Cain the racist irks Rex and Jenny but they realize they can’t change people despite trying their best at their jobs. They’ve stopped thinking on how others judge them and ignore them, merely doing their duties without letting ungrateful words get into their heads.
A huge Cluster Prime drone tries to convince a downed Rex and Jenny to join their empire, since they’ll be treated much better than Earth treating them with fear and hate. But the couple refuses because their families care for them and not wanting to become evil just because of some biased stupid humans. The defeated drone gets sent to the labs for testing and dismantling, finding out what makes it tick. This includes other captured Cluster drones of varying sizes. But since they’re from outer space, it’ll take a while to get some useful info outta them.
When a serious virus puts humanity to sleep and only the EVOs being awake/immune, Jenny, Rex and White Knight begrudgingly team up after Dr. Holiday falls asleep. Jenny winds up distracting Patient Zero as Rex cures the guy, crisis over in under a day. Though she catches her tired boyfriend and he falls asleep in her arms.
Operation Wingman rewrite
Tuck, Annie, Claire and Noah go to prom night. They also gave Rex a call about it, the guest invitations are open. He accepts and relays this to Jenny who’s very excited for her first prom at Rex’s high school.
Rex dons his dad’s green suit because Six’s wardrobe doesn’t have the most diverse options. All green suits and armor in the closet. His dad tells him to kinda suck it up and they can get another suit next time.
Jenny has her blue colors converted to red and wear a few gold accents so she’d stand out.
They also go to prom after defeating an EVO rabbit, thou a lil messed up since it was evasive and hard to land hits on. They made it in time despite the other students being stunned at the red and green duo looking a lil messy. But they mind themselves and not poke at the warriors.
Said couple pant after the mission was done thou they dance slowly to the music with their friends who waved at them.
“Darkness Rising” (Leader of the Pack + Dark Passage rewrite)
To Rex and Jenny’s huge shock, Van Kleiss has diplomatic immunity because Abysus is recognized as a nation. They and their allies abruptly pause their fight. Thou Kleiss invites Rex, his girlfriend and foster parents as guests in a formal party via a letter. But Rex’s other family members aren’t invited due to the number of guests being supposedly limited. They find it very suspicious that he’s this formal and polite right now.
But Rex kinda has no choice but to wear a black suit set and be at the party.
Jenny has her pigtails converted into her hair down and no longer having revealing armor but a 1 piece purple armor dress. When they meet outside they stare at each other for a while, until Six coughs awkwardly and tells them to go inside. They blush and squeak but comply thou Holiday smiles at this cuteness.
As the 4 go into the formal event, Rex samples the food and says it’s surprisingly safe to eat. Jenny gently cleans his slightly dirty face and he softly says she didn’t have to do that he could just lick it off.
Meanwhile on the ledge, Circe and Breach look on in slight jealously but mostly feeling heartbroken. Yet the dark ladies remember them sneaking away to meet Rex’s and Jenny’s friends and slowly becoming the mask. They have a mission to do ordered by their father, no time to cry over a missed chance.
Van Kleiss walks up to the 4 from the stairs and greets them politely, claiming he’s glad that Rex and his family could arrive. They politely snipe back that he’d better not try anything suspicious.
He chuckles, “Why would I ruin such a calm atmosphere right now? People are currently enjoying themselves.”
Bobo and the mercenaries snoop around the building after easily distracting a not-so-intelligent EVO. They didn’t get captured but they didn’t find anything odd that night.
After Van Kleiss’ true colors gets revealed the next day in a conference hall(?), a huge brawl breaks out between the mercenaries and Providence vs Abysus.
Next week the mercenaries and Providence have a rocky teamwork, searching for anyone who’s originally worked in the Nanite Project. Rex is curious about his past thou Six gently warns him that it wouldn’t be so sweet. Rex says he’ll handle whatever dark truth is hidden rather than not knowing anything at all.
Gabriel Rylander injects Rex with the omega-1 nanite but the latter doesn’t know what it actually is.
They get into a scuffle against Van Kleiss and Rex activates a new mode. But the old scientists are thrown into a reactor vessel then an explosion caused them to vaporize.
After the mission, Rex tells Jenny that he has a brother before Rylander died. She says that’s great news thou he sadly wonders what things would be like had he retained his memories. The inorganic EVO says that amnesia or not, she’d always care for him.
Assuming that the evil leader is gone for good, our heroes have a long nice break.
“Nation of Abysus” special (What Lies Beneath + Payback rewrite)
Abysus has become physically unstable since its leader was gone. Circe and Breach beg for Rex to help them restore their home. Rex hesitates and Jenny refuses thou they’ve come to an agreement to help their friends.
Unsurprisingly, both sides sans the teens snipe at each other regarding the current situation. Rex has to power a machine that brought back Van Kleiss who makes him join his side so the dark nanite fluids could stop flowing everywhere. The young man tricks his OPP by curing him after shaking his hand. The evil leader breaks down as the protagonists leave the scene, thinking it’s all over.
After the failed “diplomatic mission” and trying to manipulate Rex to his side, Van Kleiss invades Providence with his EVO army after a few months. But his daughters are hesitant to actually fight anyone since the couple have shown them true kindness long ago before the party meetup.
The Abysus leader once again asks Rex to join his pack so he’d never be judged for his abilities ever again. Rex bluntly refuses because to him and his allies, Van Kleiss is kind of an ecoterrorist despite his ideals for EVO rights.
They fight but the evil leader takes away our hero’s nanites. He falls after being tossed away high up but is caught by Jenny just in time.
He feels powerless but eventually knows how to activate the omega-1 nanite within him and gain spare nanites from another base.
Round 2 ensues as he defeats Van Kleiss with his alt modes and cures the infected. Jenny glomps him and smooches his face many times for his prowess, making the others hoot and laugh.
“Season 2”
“Family Reunion” (Mixed Signals + Night Falls rewrite)
Caesar discovers that his brother is alive and has an inorganic EVO girlfriend. The older Salazar finds it very fascinating and congratulates his brother for scoring such a pretty young woman.
But he still clashed with the mercenary family for custody despite Rex begging them to stop.
Despite the rocky start, Caesar was allowed to catch up with Rex and visited Abulea’s home.
Esteban the town mayor recognizes Caesar thou warns him to wait til morning to see their adoptive grandma.
Rex may not remember his past but he sure had fun with Federico and other folks in Mexico. He’s feeling quite bittersweet…
The were-EVOs get recovered/stabilized before Hunter Cain and his cronies could kill anyone.
Thankfully the afflicted can control their forms without any issues. Yet the extremist anti-EVO group escapes before they could be arrested for damages and attempted murders.
The mayor joins the feast after he and everyone else patched things up. Esteban never actually wanted anyone dead, just arrested and/or held accountable for their actions.
When the blood brothers return to Providence, Jenny giggles at the stories of her boyfriend as a little child. She says she’d want to visit his childhood summer home one day. He blushes in embarrassment as his cousins, uncles and aunt also laugh at kid!Rex’s antics.
Team Teen debut
Misty, Orion and Squish of the Team Teen were impressed by Rex and Jenny being powerful which makes the couple try to befriend them. But the trio diss the couples’ friend groups and civilians for being normal, who were meters away at earshot. The mechanical couple did not take kindly to their rude remarks and argued back at them for being so shallow.
After they had defeated Tadpolezilla, the young man was very pissed and went off on the trio for disregarding civilian lives over money and fame.
He growls darkly, “On Earth, this line of work is taken very seriously regardless of the payroll. Civilian lives are delicate compared to us, this teaches us on how to be more careful and considerate of others. Not just having some compassionate feelings you so callously discarded. If you can’t see that, then you lot should get the fuck out of this planet.”
After the brats left, Rex sighs and turns to his lover and their friend groups, apologizing for his outburst and says he can’t stand inconsiderate jerks like that.
But his friends and the public congratulate him for standing up to them, saying that he needed to say those words to those immature greedy fighters.
Jenny smooches her boyfriend’s cheek and purrs, “You look so hot when you’re so angry.”
Rex blushes profusely and says, “Oh! I feel the same way when you’re mad at the EVOs and other robots too. Smashing them up and all.”
Their friends playfully tease them and tell them to tone it down. The public also laugh and hoot jovially, still very much preferring this couple over the alien trio as their saviors.
Kenny Mogg is just a silly goober who entertains the powerful couple and their friends with his dog-like behavior and cooking skills. At least his creator/father got it under control despite his rivalry with Nora. The middle aged inventors were at each others’ throats for a while, but the teens tell them to knock it off and act their proper ages.
Lost Weekend rewrite
Kenwyn Jones joins Jenny, Rex and his adoptive cousins in an underground party to investigate EVO activity. Rex’s other friends couldn’t due to schoolwork or smth.
Despite some light arguments between the new soldier and experienced warriors, they’ve come to an agreement to find the culprit in a more discreet manner.
Rex and Jenny entertains the crowd with their stone sculpture(s) after their usual transformations had failed to earn some cheers. Etude, the party organizer is grateful and wants them to join for future events if they’re able to.
After Mouse and AMP were defeated then arrested, Rex boldly says to White Knight that Kenwyn did the best work in the mission. So the leader begrudgingly lets them work together despite being of different groups.
Divide by Six Rewrite
Six takes Rex to cure One, the others joining in on the tense plane ride after a practice fight. Rex and his adoptive cousins remark that it’s been a very long time since they’ve seen “grandpa” One. During the scuffle, Rex tries to cure One but is struggling because he’s an incurable, Six begs his adopted son to stop or he’d die but One lives. Rex’s eyes glow white but One is speaking to his mercenary kin through his adoptive grandson, telling each one of them that he’s proud of them and to continue using their skills for good.
After Rex closes his eyes, his adoptive grandfather’s body turns to lush for the island and Six gently holds his exhausted son. The other 4 mercenaries and teens also look on in grief and relief, trying not to cry but a few tears had shed.
“Festive Machines” (rewrite of A Robot for All Seasons)
Jenny and Rex have helped made some deliveries for many folks, they were a bit tired but wanted to see people happy on the holidays. They’ve managed to cheer up Todd Sweeney, a gloomy child by entertaining him with their powers and building him stuff. When both Rex’s and Jenny’s families called in why they weren’t home yet for Christmas, the teen couple were saying that they were just cheering up a lonely rich kid. Said families let it slide and Todd overhears this, feeling a smidge of envy that their families were genuinely worried and pissed for their sakes despite being very powerful.
Jenny and Rex smile sheepishly at the child saying that it’s natural for parents to worry for their kids regardless of age or status.
The kid was convinced by the couple to call his parents and say how much he misses them, not just apologize to them for being ungrateful/unhappy for so long. Todd begs them to stay a lil longer until his parents return with what he wants.
The Sweeney couple return to their estate as the mechanical couple wake up from their couch nap.
Todd not only apologizes to his parents but thank the young couple for teaching him how to be more appreciative of his family. So they left with festive smiles and received some light scolding from their own families. As a yearly tradition and appreciation, the Sweeney family invites Jenny’s and Rex’s families and friends to their place. Even if their families were not expecting such generosity/gratefulness and tried to politely turn them down, they accepted their hospitality.
Hilariously when the couple’s fans/some schoolmates found out about them comforting a formerly lonely child, they semi-demanded them to visit them for the holidays. Their families were not amused lol
Hell on Earth (Escape from Cluster Prime rewrite)
Earth’s best warriors and armies fought valiantly against the first invasion but heavy damages and deaths were resulted. The couple felt guilty that they couldn’t save a few civilians on time, but their families reassure them that war happens and they had to focus on the main enemies. Rex and Jenny couldn’t be everywhere at once, others shouldn’t over rely on them. They were allowed to take a break during the building repairs but they continued wallowing in despair for a while.
Rex and Jenny accidentally get teleported into enemy territory after they’ve tried to help their mothers fix the broken teleporter. Their friends and families are worried sick that they’ve been unexpectedly transported into enemy territory. Most of them feel so hopeless and more defenseless…
During their time at the seemingly peaceful planet, they’ve met Vega and her friend group. Rex and Jenny hung out with them and realized that not every Cluster citizen is vicious or pro-war. They were slandered as the villains on the planet so they’ve decided to hide and find out why the aliens can’t properly fight back or fly. Rex, Jenny, Vega and her friends return the golden chips to the citizens and revealed Vexus’ stupid deception. Why would the warrior couple do anything like that despite being on Earth for the majority of their lives?
The second invasion happens, both Earth and Vexus’ forces fought very hard especially after their best warriors have returned thanks to Crown Princess Vega.
Dang, I could just imagine Six’s remaining mercenary “family” going all out against Vexus’ loyalists without a shred of mercy. They ain’t holding back at all, they still got that dog in them with their feral smiles! After all, they’re doing this for their adoptive kids, nephew and his tough girlfriend!
Rex and Jenny brutally maul Vexus back on Cluster Prime. Her citizens turning on her and surrounded the disgraced Queen.
After the war is officially over, New Queen Vega even offered Rex and Jenny a place to stay but the couple politely turns her down. They have to finish things at Earth before properly touring Cluster Prime’s best places, Vega accepts their graciousness and hugs them. The royal one says they’ll always be welcome to her planet at anytime.
Perhaps relations between Earth and the Cluster can use mixed technology to help improve lives instead of needlessly taking them.
Rex and Jenny were teleported back on Earth, the banged up heavily breathing couple share a passionate kiss then tight hug because they won. While everyone around them cheers for their big victory, a scorned admirer at the crowd’s edge glares in hatred and jealousy…
“Season 3”
Despite the official peace treaty between Earth and Cluster Prime… Tensions between humanity, EVOs and the Cluster aliens not loyal to Vexus are rising. Racism, fear, xenophobia, you name it.
The couple and their families go into temporary hiding until the corrupt rich CEOs are defeated, even temporarily residing at Queen Vega’s uber secure palace. Invites only lol.
Though back at the mercenaries’ territory, they’ve been side eyeing White Knight for originally wanting to kill Rex long ago. But they all must work together to ensure the safety and freedom of all races, no time for petty arguments or past transgressions.
Captain Calan and Kenwyn spied for them by pretending to be on Black Knight’s side, discreetly giving the heroes intel. But Caesar continues to be ambiguous despite being supposedly a good guy, who knows what this guy is really thinking?
“Puppet Bride” Nora saves her daughter from Li’l Acorn, one of her oldest inventions. Rex hears about this and was planning to demolish the puppet, but his lovely girlfriend says that he’s already got a talking sock puppet lover. Jenny teases his possessive streak and he gets very flustered saying that he couldn’t help it especially after the Sheldon incident.
The powerhouse couple befriend Moss and his motorcycle group. They have a friendly race after defeating the unimpressive Valve, a few of their own recovers and ending the toxic nanite enchantment trade.
There has been a funny situation where Rex and Jenny were worshipped as the Comet Gods by a seemingly non-hostile but kinda dumb alien race. They didn’t mind the nice treatment at first, really enjoyed being spoiled for a while. But eventually got irritated when the creatures wound up following them 24/7, despite them insisting that they didn’t have to during their school and duties. The last straw was when a ceremony forced their powers to draw the Sun closer to Earth. They did stop that in time and put the Sun back into its original place. Then in unison hollered them to get back into their ship. They yeeted their ship, turning them into an elliptical orbit around the Sun. At least humanity has a new comet to view during nighttime lol.
"Ben 10 / Generator Rex: Heroes United"
The couple assumes Humungosaur!Ben Tennyson is an EVO and fights him. Alpha, a prototype nanite AI, puts Six in a coma and Rex gets very angry/worried. Jenny comforts her distraught boyfriend and reassures him that his father figure will pull through.
White Knight fights Alpha until the 3 MCs arrive on time. The three teens fight the evil AI and manages to seal him into the Null Void, Ben finally going home.
The omega Nanite gets returned to Rex and he hugs his father figure after waking up from his coma.
*I do ship BenRex too, just not as hard or into it as Rexj9 in my heart! The latter is my personal favorite guy/girl crossover ship, I’ve and will continue dabbling in other crossover/in-universe ships as an experiment.*
There was a team up between lesser known antagonists but Rex and Jenny easily brushed them off. Because most of those bozos fought each other to see who can kill who first instead of properly working together.
“I was about to aim for their heads but you got in the way!”
“Then aim for their hearts instead!”
Sheldon tries to lunge at Rex in an enhanced bodysuit that’s supposedly stronger than the Silver Shell alias, “You will pay for stealing Jenny from me!”
He gets punched by a Smack Hand and crashed onto a wall harshly.
Rex yawns with his other hand, “Stealing? I dunno man, we’ve been bonding since day one and getting to actually know each other longer than what most think. Have you ever tried a dating app?”
The other minor villains facepalm or lightly chuckle at the nerd’s envy.
“We were supposed to defeat both of them not just one.”
“Why did we let him join us in the first place? He wasn’t even in jail but under house arrest…”
“His instability and irrationality are going to make us lose despite being a somewhat decent tech builder.”
The powerhouse couple snicker at their big ego small name attitudes, treating their fight as more of a leisurely game compared to recapturing the escaped EVOs or even Cluster drones. Despite being semi-tired, they were laughing it out to kinda destress.
After the rearrests and a few going to a very secure mental hospital, it was discovered that Black Knight was the one who planned all this just to get a meta nanite.
After a shocking report of Sheldon and a few non-EVO escapees getting permanently crippled, Rex nearly has a breakdown claiming that he hadn’t intend to hit them that hard. His girlfriend and family comfort him saying that Sheldon had it coming for being a pathetic excuse of a human being. Not just attempting to sabotage their lives outside of fighting duties since their public debut. The creeper wouldn’t bother them anymore and even if he tried to the staff would be watching him like hawks, preventing him from ever using social media to harass and spread misinformation. He’d be forever rotting in the hospital, unable to feel his lower body.
Though not long after, someone had murdered him brutally out of cctv view. Was it a staff member who puts patients out of their misery for being a liability to society? Maybe a rogue killer wanting to satiate their bloodlust by weeding out the worthless? Or even one of the older mercenaries finishing the job so their loved ones wouldn’t have to face future harassment and stalking?
Team Teen Returns?
A collared Misty, Orion and Squish fought Rex and Jenny who had no problem freeing them.
The trio had been captured by new Providence as their soldiers. Throughout their time under control, they’ve overheard that Black Knight and her cronies were planning something huge with some special nanites.
Despite their rocky start, callousness on civilian lives, greed/fame over virtue and even trashing Jenny’s school just to get back at the popular brats… They genuinely grew to respect the two as warriors, not just wanting to truly fit into society. They had tears in their eyes and beg the two to start over again.
To their surprise, the couple looks at each other, gives them warm smiles and accepts their apologies with hugs. “We forgive you three.”
“What!? Even after everything we’ve done to you!?”
“How could you two be so forgiving?”
Rex says, “Well, my adoptive mom says holding onto grudges so long isn’t good.”
Jenny tilts her head, “If you three weren’t that great, we would’ve been forced to end you long ago.”
Misty was the one in most hysterics, “I’m sorry I threw away our friendship over money and fame!”
“Shhh, it’s ok. We can all start over. If society accepts us as their protectors after many years, then they could accept your services once again.”
After their tears were dried, they were taken to the mercenaries’ secret base. Their appearance surprised Rex’s family but after he explained the situation, they were let off the hook.
“Rex, Jenny what took so long? Who’s-“
“Oh, it’s those three shallow troublemakers.”
Tuck, Cricket and Skwydd lightly side eye the trio and wondered if they faking their emotions just to jump the duo later. The adopted cousins couldn’t help but worry for Rex and their future in-law.
The trio explained how and why they were back on Earth aside from the collared incident. They were originally going to tour the place after hearing news of Rex and Jenny warding off Ex-Queen Vexus. They’ve also argued abt originally fighting against Vexus’ forces but called it off due to space distance or smth. But when they arrived discreetly, their gut feeling was correct that society currently seemed a lil off. Usually there are EVOs and machines causing trouble and powerhouses saving the day but it’s too quiet for their tastes. So they snuck into one of Providence’s bases to gather some intel but got caught and collared.
“Well, that was dumb of you three to try that stunt.”
“Yeah… We were a bit too confident and assumed everything’s the same.”
Despite this, the alien trio managed to get along with Rex, Jenny and their friends without judging them.
“Huh, when we don’t use our powers in these little games, we really are no different from one another.”
“Told ya so! It’s ok to not use them 24/7!”
“With Black Knight running the show and other bad guys out there, will you three help us?”
“Wait really?!”
“Yep, you’re not the only ones who hate them for worse things than just greed!”
“Well, we may be reformed but not totally ‘tame.’”
“I can’t wait to beat them up for trying to control us!”
Circe and Breach have been in the mercenaries’ hideout for a while since their weakened father has been captured by Black Knight’s pawns in Abysus. At least the mercenary family try to make them feel welcome and comfortable, even letting them crash in a spare room. Thou White Knight is kind of the most judgy since he thinks they’re still like their father who plans to backstab others for power, this makes the younger generation snark back at the disgraced leader.
Season Finale (Endgame rewrite)
The main villains would try to discreetly kill each other over conquering Earth & the Cluster. Van Kleiss and Vexus want the heroes as their most valued pawns, not just marry them to their daughters for siring powerful grandchildren. But their daughters have some self-respect and not wreck anyone’s romantic relationship, they’d rather see Rex and Jenny happy together. However Black Knight wants to off them after taking their technopath powers.
A captured Rex and Jenny have a heart to heart talk despite being heavily restrained in the Cyclatron.
“Hey baby when we survive this and beat the bad guys, we’re going to Vega’s palace on the Cluster for vacation right?”
“Hell yeah, I know we can survive this. You’ve resisted after an energy vampire took your electricity. I’ve survived underwater for a long time before. And we’ve taken nasty beatings from lots of bad guys.”
The transformed CEOs try to kill the couple after they’ve all been freed from the machine. Rex and Jenny narrowly escape after White Knight’s army distracts them.
The Consortium, Vexus’ loyalists and Van Kleiss’ army have an all out battle royale over killing or controlling the powerful couple. A huge mess indeed. The mercenary crew and Providence agents now under White Knight made sure the civilians are all evacuated as they defend themselves from the psychotic villains.
The civilians cheer on for Rex, Jenny and their allies for bravely fighting against those villains.
After the Villains get depowered and arrested, the mercenaries remarked that they really wanted to finish them off for making the couple suffer. But decided to let the judicial system handle them instead.
Rex and Jenny float to the sky with a blue glow around them. They can hear the rhythmic sounds of nanites of around the world. They wish for the healing cure and permanently shut down the meta-nanites which stay within Rex.
Unlike canon, the World cure only works on people who wanted to become totally normal again. It’s seems that some characters have grown accustomed to their EVO powers and wanted to feel liberated/powerful.
Rex even got his old memories restored after the worldwide cure, making him very overwhelmed. At least he’ll stop having amnesia, but he’s going to need lots of emotional support and mental health therapy.
Caesar did deserve that punch for not telling his brother of his plans earlier. Thou Rex doesn’t have it in him to completely cut him out of his life, he warns his elder brother to not do that stunt again. Or lie about such important things.
While it may seem like it’s S1 all over again, at least most lives are stabilized. Rex, Jenny and their allies now only need to handle the extremist groups (pro-EVO but anti humanity bc of social Darwinism & vice versa), Van Kleiss, Ex-Queen Vexus and their loyalists.
If Rex and Jenny go to Cluster Prime for vacation or to help, they’d entrust their loved ones and allies to safeguard the mostly disinfected Earth. Whelp, at least the Earthlings and Cluster aliens are mingling along fine thanks to our heroes.
A few times the couple would even show up at some elementary to secondary schools for surprise celebrity visits, and many young students found them to be very cool. Even a few begging them to become teachers bc they’re so awesome. Though Rex and Jenny laugh wholeheartedly, they politely refuse and say who’s going to fight against the bad guys?
