While waiting, Sav had finished her own beer and so she went back in and got herself another. She was halfway through her second one when he finally showed up. A grin came to her lips and she handed him his beer, and the bottle itself had a layer of frost on the outside, keeping his beer cold. “Hey handsome. Gotta say sweetheart, you look much better without tacky stripes.” She laughed lightly and took a swig of her beer. “I’m Savannah, by the way, but you can call me Sav.”
“Everyone looks better without tacky stripes,” he said then took a sip of the beer that was obviously for him. “Sav,” he said, drawing out her name. “I like that.” He grinned. “My name is Alexander, but you can call me Xander. No one’s called me the previous in years.” He took another sip from his beer. It was unnoticeable but his fingers that were warm only moments ago were covered in a layer of frost to make sure his beer kept cool.
