Right so because of the lack of Kitty/Mary related posts on the BBC Ghosts tag, I thought I would show you some cute screenshots and just explain why they are cute and are very Mitty-ish. Buckle up because this will be a long post.
Okay here we go with the strongest Mitty-ish screenshots:
Why are they the strongest, you ask? Well, if anyone were to look at these pictures without any context or knowledge of the show, I think itâs safe to assume that they would think that these two women are in love with each other, but theyâre both secretly pining for the other. I mean, look at how Kitty is looking at Mary here - if thatâs not a look of complete adoration, then I donât know what is.
Next up, we have some more pictures of Kitty looking at Mary lovingly:
These donât really need explaining. It can be clearly seen that Kitty is giving Mary loving looks here.
Now we have Mary comforting Kitty on the stairs:
You can kind of see Maryâs concern here, and also sheâs reassuringly touching Kitty too which is cute.
Here they are being enthusiastic about and enjoying each otherâs talks/performances:
In this one, you can see Mary smiling at Kitty, loving her rendition of âAmazing Graceâ, while nearly everyone else (bar Robin) seems to not be impressed or theyâre cringing at how high-pitched her voice is.
And here, you can see Kitty applauding enthusiastically after Maryâs talk in 1.1, while everyone else is not really that impressed.
Itâs just cute that they both seem to support and enjoy what each other like to do, especially when everyone else is not so enthusiastic.
Talking about being supportive, here is Mary supporting Kitty when she stands up to the Captain:
Since theyâre both not the most confrontational people, itâs just nice to see them support each other here. Look at how Kitty is smiling at Mary here too - she appreciates her support.
Next up is them playing Twister! with each other:
They both look like theyâre having so much fun and that theyâre happy to be doing it with each other! Just look at the smile on Kittyâs face!
Here they are enjoying each otherâs company in 2.5:
Again, theyâre just smiling at each other and having a nice time coming up with ways to remember the inventory.
Okay, now hereâs another adorable one:
Kitty is enjoying being a bridesmaid, sheâs walking down the aisle. But wait - who is she waving to? Itâs Mary of course! Idk I just find it really cute that out of everyone she waves at Mary here - it emphasizes that theyâre really close to each other in my opinion.
And thatâs about it really! Although I will share some final cute screenshots of them two because I canât help myself:
There they are both looking at the baby together.
There they are both seeing the bride getting ready together and thinking how lovely she looks.
And finally, there they are looking disapprovingly at the Captain together. Maryâs expression in this one is a mood I swear.
