Hello y'all! I wanted to share this philosophy, I don't know if it already exists, but I thought of it and wanted to share (hopefully I don't sound cringe here 😅)

I already posted it to my TikTok but I've had time to refine it since then with some help from a friend.

Anyway- here it is:

Not all beauty needs a witness; not all meaning requires permanence. The capacity to exist, whether realized or merely imagined, is a fundamental form of worth. To recognize that a thing could be is to honor an opening in the universe, a tiny doorway of potential that doesn't need to swing wide to be meaningful.

A planet where glass rains from the sky. A storm that will never end, twisting endlessly. Diamonds falling through unending clouds. Even if no eyes ever see it,

the fact that it could exist is beautiful. And even if one day all matter dissolves into nothing- it was. It had the potential to be. It lived, it burned, it rained, it loved. And that’s enough.

If you could see the void left after everything is gone, you would look out over the end and know what it could be.

It's the universe's unknown and unspoken dream.

Something I realized about Lucifer's choice to give humanity free will is how he had no reason to believe they would choice to be bad. Him and all the other angles had it and they were good, why would these humans be any different? Why would they choose evil? They are so similar.

Of course, there is Addam but we don't actually know if he was bad or if he just thought that was how it was supposed to be. I could see the misunderstanding of being told "this is YOUR wife" he had only known 'your' as in possession until then. Until then, nothing disobeyed, could disobey at that experience and feeling was new to him.

Additionally, if he didn't have the capability to be evil at that point (not having free will) then it couldn't have been coming from that standpoint. It's about intention here. Perhaps he wasn't being intentionally bad, he just didn't understand. It just explains so much of his character on so many different levels

(for the record, I am NOT defending sexism. This is a very specific and unique case- even if not ill intended, it's still bad of course. I'm just putting it into prospective of his POV)

This could also explain his continued behavior. It was a understanding he never came to, well- understand. Not that he didn't have the opportunity to

Lucifer must have been so utterly shocked and betrayed that humans chose evil. Unless the root of all evil (I forgot her name) was doing more then tempting them.

This could also be a wake up call that maybe angles can't have ill intentions (even though their actions may be down right evil) that being 'good' was hard baked into him until his fall. That HE didn't have free will.

Sarah thinks she is doing what is best, that she is doing what she has to. Good and evil seems heavily based on intention in this way.

This could also lead to a very interesting/funny scenario in the case of "Adams apple" where he's just- SO confused. He doesn't give lesbian relationships much thought, he finds it "hot" so it's fine in his eyes. But a man and a man? Like, what? Who's who's? Maybe I am wrong, but I don't remember him talking about/mentioning gay relationships.

Side note, they are supposed to be nonbinary but the wiki kept saying HE and HIS brother and the sexist shit just really pissed me off so she is a woman now.

I would like to share with you all one of the reasons I love my brother so much:

• Customer service - gass station •

Customer: trying to buy cigarettes. does not have ID

My brother: tells customer he can't sell them then

Customer: makes excuse for not having ID

My brother: reiterates he can't sell them

Customer: (rudely) you really can't sell them!?

My brother: looks at screen, completely ignoring customer until they realize he's not giving selling it to them..

That customer had to sit there, in complete silence, just waiting. probably thinking he is doing something so they can have their cigarettes only to realize he isn't doing anything at all- that no, he is literally just ignoring you until you pay for your other stuff. Absolute power move, he didn't even need to say or do anything. Just- wait.
