I created this art after I decided that I’ll go to HollyCon15. It’s took me a long time but I’m really happy it’s finished just in time. I sprayed the watercolor fixative on this just a few hours before my flight to Japan.*lol* I wrapped it in my architecture tracing paper to protect from dust then rolled them into a roll. The tracing paper is translucent enough that you can see the art underneath without removing it. I also brought the tube that I used to store it with me as well, I planned to give it to him along with this art.
I had chance to gave this to Misha on Sat 30th June, in his sign sessions around 12:00~14:00. Do I have to say that I’m nervous…again? I’m waiting in the queue with my art and Pook’s present for Misha in my hands. The queue was quite long but moving quite fast. Then it’s my turn. I watched he signed and wrote my name on the photo I took with him in the morning. Then I gave him Pook’s present first, told him “This’s my friend present for you from Thailand.” He said “Thank you, that’s so sweet.” And when he put the bag down I put my art scroll in front of him, the first part of his family peeking out a little “This is my present for you.” He just stared at it for a bit *I’m so nervous.* Then he put his hands on the roll and asked “What’s this?” I told him “You can open it.” Then he started to unroll it, when it keep going and going…his eyes got a little bigger at each Castiel revealed. I heard he said “Wow…” and he looked from left to right and to left to right again but he still didn’t say anything more just kept looking at it. *I’m so happy* Then I told him “I wrote all the seasons and episodes these Castiel are from on the back.” He looked up at me “That’s wonderful.” *His eyes are so beautiful.* I stuttering told him “Thank you for inspiration…for everything.” Then he said “I’m sure it’ll…..to make this…..art.” (my brain kinda blank, I can’t remember what words he used in those blank spaces. (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*).)
Then he looked at my eyes and said “Thank you.” He started to rolled the scroll back and said “I’ll have to be careful with this.” That’s when I remembered to give him the tube “I have this tube for you” He said “Yes, I’m gonna need that.” He tried to put the scroll in the tube but it’s a bit too big, he was like “Oh…” Then rolled it tighter and finally be able to put it in and reach for the lids next to my hand and put it on but it’s wrong side he flipped to the right side while he looked at me and said “I see you do gish?” I told him. “Actually I didn’t register for this year, yet.” He looked at me and said “Get on with it.” with his kind of beautiful mischievous smile. (I will try to draw that later.(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)) I told him “I will.” And I almost forgot to picked up my sighed photo and he pushed the paper that I wrote my name for him to read toward me. I thanked him and picked up the signed photo and went back out…..I don’t have to tell you who’s registered for gish that same night, right?

This is my first time drawing them all. I want to draw them as beautiful as they really are. I drew them the last, but I colored them first because I want them to be perfect. I search for many photo reference of them their clothes and activities to get them right. They are the most important part of this drawing. I’m quite nervous when I showed Misha this drawing of him and his family.

Ok…now I just realized I forgot to draw bees in this one. I did researched what kind of flowers that attract bees, I choose ‘Rudbeckia hirta (Black-Eyed Susan)’ so I can draw bees followed him around a bit but I totally forgot…orz.

Between this and the next I was considered to draw another Castiel from ‘9.09 Holy Terror’, Castiel that determined to fight back with stolen grace he got from the other angel.
♡ 10.01 Black : Castiel with the stolen grace that was killing him slowly.
♡ 10.18 Book of the Damned : Castiel got his grace back, Castiel with his fallen wings.(with his second version trench coat)
I was planned to draw cursed Castiel from ‘10.23 Brother’s Keeper / 11.01 Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire’ between this one and the next but I didn’t.

♡ 12.12 Stuck in the Middle (With You) : Dying Castiel, he was stabbed with Michael Lance. “I love you.”….”I love all of you.”
I listed 12.19 The Future Castiel that saw future from baby Jack and 12.23 All Along the Watch Tower / 13.01 Lost and Found which Castiel is dead. But I didn’t draw them here.

I really think that he was broken there until he was like that.

I know it’s not perfect but I put all my heart into this drawing for Misha. I want to show him I love all characters he portrayed since he stepped into that sigils covered barn is season 4.
I’m sure there will be more to be drawn in the next seasons of Supernatural. I’ll wait until I have chance to draw for him again. ♡
