The usual morning ride into work was a little more peaceful without Dorian, although it was a little strange now too. As he had gotten used to the way the DRN bumbled on about random things. And even though he may not like a noise in his ear, he made an exception for Dorian, he was after all his partner. Striding into the office he got himself a cup of coffee and settled down into his desk chair. Waiting for a distraction from the pile of work that was staring at him from his screen, flashing a little yellow light telling him it was outstanding and that it was so important people were in danger if he didn’t file it now!

Kellan bit her lip as she headed into the police department. While this probably wasn’t going to be a good idea, she knew he would at least be able to help her out. Distractedly filling out the usual form for a visitor’s pass hastily, the teenager quickly found who she was looking for and came to sit down in the vacant chair opposite him with a minor flourish.

"I need your help, … and you’re probably gonna be mad."

John furrowed his brow at the young girl, putting down the file that he was flicking through just to waist some time - he was sick and tired of the same old crap - some drugs bust or some utter nonsense that anyone with half a brain cell could deal with. John arched an eyebrow - "What have you done now?"
