The deer picks up the umbrella, following Gavin inside. The storm came so quickly, a burst of lightning scared him stiff.
Gavin saw his deer had stopped, he carefully picked him up and took him across the farm to the house. "Hey it's okay...I have you."
Connor gripped tight to the umbrella as he was lifted, hiding his face into Gavin's neck, shivering.
"Didn't know it was going to storm today," he murmurs against his farmer, glad he dropped off his pastries earlier.
"Awe,it's okay. I'll get you all dried and warmed up." He takes his deer inside and sets him on a chair. Gavin grabbed a towel to start rubbing him down.
Once in the mud room, Connor managed to let go of the umbrella, closing it and dropping it into the holder as they pass it. Once he's sat, the deer shakes his head and tail, ears flicking water everywhere.
"Glad it's still comfy in here." He takes another towel to rub into Gavin's hair to help dry off.
Gavin grunts from the head rub. He leaned up kissing his cheeks and pressed against him to keep warm. "Another rainy day I guess. We're gonna have to keep ourselves busy."
The deer lets out a little laugh as Gavin grunts, the towel sliding to around his neck as he leans up. Connor is all too happy to have his farmer all to himself once again, "I'm sure we'll figure something out."
Gavin perked up hearing something meowing. "How are the kittens?" He got distracted hearing them cry. Potato takes that time to roll in to see his family. "Awe, did you get scared?" He lets go of Connor and scooped up Potato.
