One thing that bothers me….

Ok, I’ve never liked Jax. From the beginning. I’ve just disliked him. I could see what they were trying to do, make him all tragic and deep under the asshole layer.

But what really stood out to me, besides all of his other shitty behavior, is how he gets all critical in the finale about Kinger messing up and deleting Caine, like “you’re just going to forgive him??” MOTHERFUCKER YOU PRESSED A BUTTON THAT POTENTIALLY DENIED EVERYONE FREEDOM AND WERE IMMEDIATELY FORGIVEN. YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH SHIT THAT JUST GETS “FORGIVEN” BECAUSE “HES HURT TOO, HES JUST LASHING OUT”. So he shouldn’t suffer consequences?! He shouldn’t be, I dunno, put into an “untrustworthy” category for the rest of the cast for a while?! Pomni goes freakin above and beyond for this asshole even seeing all the shit he thinks of the others and it just…like, him being abstracted, besides being anticlimactic(I legit thought it was a fakeout, because one minute he’s there and the next he’s gone? Like, who found him? How was he discovered?) I was like “…alright.” There was so little lead up to it it was just like “alright, that’s a thing now.” I couldn’t find it in me to care. I felt a LITTLE sorry for him. But up until now I have not found him to be a sympathetic character whatsoever, so him abstracting just…didn’t mean anything to me. Maybe that’s just because I didn’t like him. Maybe I’m missing something.

Also if I entirely missed a piece of information(I’ve seen posts floating around about a confirmed trans fem Jax) and am misgendering the character I sincerely apologize and I will come back to this post and fix it.

at my job we have to go through a training program that teaches us the library of congress classification system, and when i was first being trained my boss started to boot it up and she gave me a really anxious and guilty look and said “listen, i’m really sorry in advance, there’s nothing i can do about this, just…. just try to get through it” and i was like lol what’s she talking about and then the program loaded and i was greeted with a deliriously funny-looking photoshopped wizard with glowing eyes pointing at some intro message like “AH YES, JUST AS THE PROPHECY FORETOLD… APPRENTICE, YOU COME AT A TIME OF MOST DIRE NEED… YOU MUST LEARN OUR WAYS” and my boss just looked at me helplessly and was like “i’m so sorry. it’s like two hours long.”
