Wait it might be a reference to how shes the only darkner in the group so she feels like shes not on the "same level" as them. Also, as someone else pointed out, Noelle is associated with yellow. Because she's a lightner.

Also.... notice how the lightner colors converge to make black? And how the darkners converge to make white? Its a reference to dark and light worlds. Hrmmmm... but then who is blue and red?
