Every monsoon, Assam is practically overrun by floods from the Brahmaputra river. And I mean that in the worst way possible. As of now, around 95 people have been confirmed to have lost their lives and over 12000 have been displaced. In under a month.

This happens every year and so many people treat it as normal. Children there think it's normal. Villages being almost completely swept away.
