Hi hello hope yall not bothered by my obsessions for the past couple of weeks
The second house indicates what’s on you, with you, or generated by you. It deals with resources that keep you alive and functioning, so it also reveals the abilities required to generate these things. Your labor, your skills, your physical effort, your trade. It’s your tools, talents, and offerings that get exchanged for survival or stability.
It’s not about career (10H), passions(5H), or gifts from others (8H). It’s about how you produce, control, own, and can turn into survival, sustainability, and eventually wealth, from nothing but your essence. So it’s like your gut, resource base, harvest. That’s why it’s the house of “I have”.
» 2nd House in Aries
You’re not built to wait, you’re built to charge first, think later, and monetize through your energy, momentum, and nerve. The value you offer isn’t softness, it’s force, action, and quick-start heat. People trust you when things are urgent. You get paid when others freeze. You’re instinct-driven, so your talents live in survival-based skills and adrenaline spaces.
Things you can pursue: personal training; boxing, MMA or self-defense coaching; high-speed freelance gigs; stunt work; solo business launches; pressure-based consulting; sports-based YouTube content; fast-paced reselling; fire-arts or pyrotechnic crafts; combat or emergency-response training; outdoor survival courses; leadership in risky or chaotic fields.
This works because Mars rules the 2H, so your value is pure motion. You don’t accumulate value, you ignite it. When you stop waiting and start acting, money flows.
» 2nd House in Taurus
You make money by bringing people back to their body. You thrive when you sell comfort, consistency, and sensory pleasure. You’re tuned to the pace of nature, and people pay for your ability to calm them, feed them, or bring them beauty that lasts. You don’t rush, you anchor, and that slowness is what makes you valuable.
Focus on: baking and comfort-food catering; skincare and herbalism; massage therapy; homemade soap or natural body care; gardening, farming, or flower arrangement; perfume blending; handmade clothes or ceramics; aesthetic YouTube/blog content; slow fashion or textile repair; brand consulting with a beauty focus; luxury thrift resale.
This works because Venus rules here, the Venus of soil, texture, and reliability. Your value doesn’t need to scream. It just needs to be felt.
» 2nd House in Gemini
You make money by moving information, ideas, and connections. You think fast, speak fast, and sell with your words, not with polish but with speed, wit, and adaptability. People don’t buy from you because you’re deep, they buy because you’re efficient, mentally alive, and plugged into what’s trending. You thrive in work that needs flexibility and talking, not perfection.
Monetize this by: copywriting; reselling or dropshipping; digital marketing; transcription; tutoring; podcasting; live hosting; short-form content creation; running newsletters; social media ghostwriting; flipping information into templates or digital products; workshop teaching; online arbitrage.
This works because Mercury rules here and Mercury doesn’t build, it connects and moves. You earn by being sharp, not settled.
» 2nd House in Cancer
You make money by nurturing, preserving, and giving people a sense of safety or belonging. You’re emotionally wired to feel what others need before they say it, and people pay for the feeling you create. Whether it’s food, care, or sacred space, you’re profitable when you tap into tenderness, memory, or home.
Go for: family-based businesses; doula or birth support; meal prepping; grief or trauma work; elder or childcare; womb wellness; handmade memory boxes or photo albums; domestic healing services (cooking, organizing); herbal tea blends; moon-based planning; ancestral work; protective crafts; home cooking shows.
This works because the Moon rules here, and the Moon holds, reflects, and responds. Your value is very relational and intuitive, not so much transactional.
» 2nd House in Leo
You make money by being seen. You offer the world your personality, shine, and magnetism, and people pay you to help them shine too. You’re not here to play it safe; you thrive when you lead, perform, and help others feel important. You’re most valuable in industries that reward boldness, presence, and confidence.
Try: acting; public speaking; children’s education or entertainment; fashion design or styling; branding and personal image work; YouTube or TikTok with strong visual identity; designing gold-toned products or “luxury” experiences; talent development; party planning; photo or video production; designing showpieces or centerpiece products.
This works because the Sun rules this house, and the Sun doesn’t blend in. It radiates. Your value shines brightest when you actually own the spotlight.
» 2nd House in Virgo
You earn through your ability to fix, clean, and perfect. You’re built to spot flaws and bring order to chaos. People pay you because you catch what everyone else overlooks. You’re most valuable where details, accuracy, and cleanliness matter. Your money comes from refining things, making them safer, clearer, or more useful.
Go into: editing, proofreading, transcription; herbal remedies or nutrition services; spreadsheet or database building; system organization; habit coaching; cleaning or detox services; planner or journal design; technical writing; wellness consulting; making workbooks or method-based tools; diagnostic services; VA work.
This works because Mercury rules here in earth mode. You don’t just think, you optimize things. Your value is about being practical, efficient, and fix-it-focused.
» 2nd House in Libra
You monetize through your ability to balance, beautify, and mediate. You’re naturally valuable when you’re helping people find their style, their peace, or their place. You thrive in relational or visual work that calls for grace and taste. You’re not built for mess, you shine when things are harmonious.
Try: fashion styling; interior design; event planning; brand visuals; relationship coaching; etiquette work; aesthetic consulting; jewelry design; couple-based content; wedding planning; high-end resale; social media curation; conflict resolution or facilitation services.
This works because Venus rules Libra, the Venus of symmetry and social connection. Your value comes from knowing how things should look, feel, and flow.
» 2nd House in Scorpio
You sell intensity, strategy, and transformation. People don’t come to you for surface-level stuff, they come for your ability to go all the way down and dig up truth. You’re valuable in high-stakes, high-emotion, or hidden work. You’re most profitable when you’re handling what others avoid, like pain, power, depth, or taboos.
Monetize this through: therapy or shadow work; sex education or intimacy coaching; occult research; investigative journalism; trauma work; death care or grief services; forensic fields; intuitive readings; emotional cleanup services (extraction, detox, cord cutting); helping people recover from breakdowns or losses.
This works because Mars rules here in its nocturnal mode, which is strategic, deep, and intense. You’re built to transform pain into power. :)
» 2nd House in Sagittarius
You make money by expanding people’s minds and breaking them out of boxes. Your value is your vision, your perspective, and your ability to connect the dots across time, cultures, or beliefs. People pay for your big-picture thinking, your stories, and your knowledge. This works when you’re in motion or exploring something real.
Focus on: teaching or tutoring; writing (especially essays or spiritual topics); outdoor guiding; creating belief-based content; language learning; travel blogging; online course creation; ethical business coaching; translating ideas into teachings; workshop leading; comedy with a message; philosophical merch.
This works because Jupiter rules here, which is the planet of meaning, growth, and teaching. You thrive when you help people see farther.
» 2nd House in Capricorn
You monetize through structure, ambition, and long-game focus. You build value like a mountain builds height, slow, steady, unshakable. People pay for your discipline and your ability to handle what’s heavy or serious. You’re most valuable when responsibility is involved.
Try: business planning; accounting or budgeting; construction or renovation work; long-term investing; systems design; eldercare or estate management; corporate consulting; structural coaching; digital product architecture; mentorship programs; real estate work; time management or goal tracking tools.
This works because Saturn rules this house, which preserves, hardens, and endures. You’re not the flashiest, you’re typically the one who lasts.
» 2nd House in Aquarius
You make money by being different, futuristic, and community-minded. Your value isn’t in fitting in, it’s in standing out and breaking systems that no longer work. People pay for your weird genius, especially when it helps them belong to something better.
Focus on: tech-based design; social media strategy; niche or alt content; astrology or futurism; digital product creation; community building platforms; AI-based services; protest gear or radical wellness tools; open-source project work; network systems; innovation consulting; experimental art.
This works because Saturn rules here too, but in air, so it’s more cold and conceptual. You build by breaking molds, not following them.
» 2nd House in Pisces
You sell dream, spirit, and softness. Your value comes from your ability to flow, to channel what’s unspoken and emotional. People come to you for atmosphere, empathy, and escape. You’re not here to be literal, you’re here to help people feel.
Monetize this through: art or music; film scoring or editing; intuitive reading; dream work; scent blending; ocean or water-based products; abstract visuals; poetry or lyric writing; ritual creation; sanctuary design; sound healing; cinematic editing or storytelling; spiritual guidance; working with animals or oceanic life.
This works because Jupiter rules here in traditional astrology, but the Jupiter of vision and transcendence. You monetize meaning that can’t be explained, only felt.
✨ How to study according to your Mercury Placement✨
WHY MERCURY ?
💫 In Astrology, Mercury rules thought processes (among other things). This means that it can be attributed to your ideal study method/s 💫
ARIES MERCURY / 1H MERCURY / MARS-INFLUENCED MERCURY
Trust your mental energy. When you convince yourself, you can be extremely determined and goal-oriented. You may not always be revved up to study (who is 👀), but when you get some wiggle room in those mental bursts of yours — take the opportunity! 🔥 Maybe try to keep study sessions short and quick. And you may work better alone.
TAURUS MERCURY / 2H MERCURY / VENUS-INFLUENCED MERCURY
Get comfortable, but grounded. You need cozy, slow-study. But you also need to stay grounded in the moment and focused. Sit at a cozy desk or table, get a refreshment (no alcohol 🍷), some snacks, maybe even soothing music. Study sessions should be on the longer side. You may benefit from some flexible guidance (but no bossing around!) 🌿.
GEMINI MERCURY / 3H MERCURY / MERCURY DOMINANT
Keep stimulated. You are intelligent (on multiple frontiers 📚), but you need variety. For times when you need to focus on a specific subject for a long period of time, break it up for variety! Got to do an essay on persuasive writing? Break it up into what it’s used for, grammar commonly used, literary devices you can use for it, et cetera. Might do well studying casually with friends. Vary study time and structure. 🕰️
CANCER MERCURY / 4H MERCURY / MOON-INFLUENCED MERCURY
Get settled. You need comfort and emotional peace when studying. Find somewhere cozy, wear what’s comfortable (with decency in mind 👕), clear any emotional stress. Your emotional memory is incredible, leverage it. Use positive affirmations whilst studying, reward yourself after achieving study milestones, even create study mood-boards. Does better studying alone. Dedicate a focused amount of time to study when you can. 🌙
LEO MERCURY / 5H MERCURY / SUN-INFLUENCED MERCURY
Make it fun. You need dazzle and self-expression — even when you study. And don’t worry, it’s achievable. First of all, make yourself look good; whatever boosts your confidence. That’s already half the battle. Come up with creative study methods 🎨. Credit yourself; maybe come up with some goals for study-confidence. Does better studying on their terms, but receiving praise from others. Study until just before they get bored. 🌥️
VIRGO MERCURY / 6H MERCURY / MERCURY DOMINANT
Be thorough. You need to understand all the details when studying. And when you get them — you’re a powerhouse. You also have a love for learning. Keep notes, focus deeply on one concept at a time, create and upkeep study routines 🗒️. You do best with scheduled study. Probably best working alone. 🌱
Black Moon Lilith IN GUYS
Why this post on black moon lilith in guys? Black moon lilith is often described as the inner 'bad b*tch' but how does this translate to male energy? The info on this point in the sky is often female centric and therefore it's role in male charts is overlooked. Sacrifice and the 12th House 🌟
Sacrifice is very much something that can be positive or negative. With these associations sacrifice might not always be intentional - an individual may be forced to sacrifice some thing(s) in life. In other times sacrifice is very much an action, a decision.
Aries in the 12th House: Sacrifice of the self can somehow exist. Meaning you may forget/lose yourself in a relationship or give up parts of your self for another because you love them. An example could be giving up independence, risky behavior, or maybe flirty behavior. Risk and sacrifice can be linked. Due to your risk taking or even gambling you may be forced to give up something. Impulse and urgency come with sacrifice, in a second things must be decided on. Sacrificing others or things for the self, to win, or for survival is strongly associated. Self vs. others paradigm exist, many cycles, lessons, and challenges center around this.
Taurus in the 12th House: Sacrificing in the material world is associated. Maybe they need to sell precious items, give something of theirs to help another, or declutter to live healthier. Subconscious stubbornness can prevent them from abandoning too many things. Can look at giving as an exchange and expect a reward or something given in return for a sacrifice. From this there is hesitance to sacrifice anything of value- which sort of goes against the point. Sacrifice in comfort, love, and security are themes. Surrendering attachments can be a big deal here.
Gemini in the 12th House: Sacrificing their voice, educational opportunities, ties with extended family/siblings or for them, and sacrificing a part of their inner duality is all associated. In the mental realm sacrifice might be much more abstract. Internal conflict between curiosity, wanting, their own opinions, and the opinions of others exist. Objectivity approaches sacrifice.
Cancer in the 12th House: Sacrificing for your family is tied here, especially children. There is a connection to sacrifice and the body. Sacrifice is always felt emotionally and with depth. Fear of sacrifice not being worth it or fear of sacrificing their security or loved ones exist. “A mother’s sacrifice” may exist but this doesn’t always mean you are a mom but you may make these types of valuable/intense changes for someone. Sacrifice for or in the community may exist, but giving things up for family is more likely than for community. Making a sacrifice for your mother or grandmother may exist. Maybe you postpone college to take care of your mom or leave a lover because of her disapproval. Making a sacrifice for a parent in general is associated too.
Leo in the 12th House: Sacrificing their place in the public sphere, sacrificing for their art, and a leader’s sacrifice is associated here. The father is also associated - either sacrificing because you are a father or for your dad. Pride is connected. Maybe you won’t give something up due to pride or will have to sacrifice your pride. Learning selfless love has ties here. Themes may fall into more of pure generosity than typical sacrifice. Sacrificing a trait or something internal to nurture the inner child may happen OR they may sacrifice their playfulness, inner child, or warmth.
Virgo in the 12th House: May sacrifice parts of themselves to help another. Healing and sacrifice may be tied. Can give important things up for their work. Body and habits can somehow be tied to sacrifice. Can have an overly practical or “everything must serve a purpose” attitude that can make sacrificing difficult. Can struggle with under-appreciation for their sacrifices. Expectations can exist or they may sacrifice something because it is part of their plan to reach a goal.
Libra in the 12th House: Sacrifices tend to revolve around relationships of all types. Sacrificing parts of themselves for a relationship can be a theme along with losing themselves in this process. They may give things up to keep the peace. Justice can be a theme here. They may give things up for the sake of justice or to make things right. Sacrificing to overcome heartbreak or surrendering to experience true depth or intimacy can happen.
Scorpio in the 12th House: Others may try to influence you or manipulate you into giving things up. Sacrifice many times is forced, more so it is something taken from you than a real sacrifice. Sacrifice may be part of overcoming and transformation. Sacrificing tends to be shedding a part of them, especially emotional, a deep rooted behavior, a way of being, or attachments. Sacrificing may be tied to survival or healing as well.
Sagittarius in the 12th House: Sacrifice tends to exist in the realm of beliefs, ideals, philosophies. May become self-righteous towards emotional or tangible sacrifices. May sacrifice things for someone they look up to or idealize. May have to sacrifice many things to keep their freedom and for their own growth. Might make a statement through their sacrifices. May sacrifice stability or comfort for greener pastures.
Capricorn in the 12th House: May sacrifice a lot in the name of responsibility, honor, or integrity. There is an association with sacrificing because of authority. Age is connected - this could be seen as “sacrificing to age” with drastically changed views, behaviors, habits. Sacrificing to maintain reputation or for one’s career is associated. Criticizing or not understanding why other’s don’t give up what they have had to give up can happen. Understands hard work and sacrifice can be related. May be forced to sacrifice their ambitions, self-reliance, and self-authority.
Aquarius in the 12th House: There is a lot concerning identity. May be forced to sacrifice parts of their identity somehow. May sacrifice for friends and fellowship or abandon them for freedom, knowledge, and success. May learn detachment from some form of sacrifice. May sacrifice for the greater good somehow. Gives things up to appease the group. May be peer pressured into leaving people or things behind.
Pisces in the 12th House: Sacrifice and being a martyr are closely related. True sacrifices of body, mind, and self can exist. This individual can be all too giving, maybe believing their sacrifices will always be worth it, helpful, or in general good. This individual may manipulate others into giving things up for them. (this isn’t always intentional) May be forced to give up on things and people they love. In turn they will greatly sacrifice to save or help loved ones. Can give without expecting anything in return.
Personal planets in the 12th may signify more “personal” sacrifices. Venus could mean leaving behind a friend for another person or leaving a lover for a job. Mars can indicate giving up ambitions. Sun maybe sacrificing your pride.
Outer planets can indicate sacrificing for a greater good. Jupiter for morals, beliefs. Saturn and Uranus for society. Pluto and Neptune may be in the role of savor emotionally or even to save a life.
👿 The 12th House and Hidden Enemies 👀
It is worth noting the 12th is associated with “being your own worst enemy” which falls into the idea of undoing as well. When we speak of hidden enemies this doesn’t always mean people who are consciously out to get you. This can describe people who are unintentionally challenging or toxic. There is the idea that the sign in the 12th like Aries in the 12th or Virgo in the 12th means your secret enemies will likely be Virgos and Aries Suns/dominant people. BUT this is surface level, let’s go deeper.
Aries in the 12th House: “Hidden enemies” are honestly felt with unspoken tension and opposition. Unknown enemies go after this person’s sense of self. Frequently feeling like a victim but without knowing or realizing the source for the feeling is associated. Looking at this person’s Mars placement can be useful. Ex: Mars in the 1st can bolster conflict to the self. Mars in the 7th can indicate complexity with enemies being close relationships and the dynamic between secret and hidden enemies. Hidden enemies or people who can bring toxicity to them overshadow or criticize their confidence and assertiveness. Competitors may be turned into secretive enemies. Leadership is a theme, either disliking many leaders or being seen as a enemy by those with authority.
Taurus in the 12th House: Enemies are created from possession and territory. The idea you stole something from them or vice versa. Watch out for enablers to gluttony, self-indulgence, and materialism. An ally may turn to enemy from being jealous of your things or wealth. Venus placements can tell of the relationship with your hidden enemies. Ex: Venus in the 7th may indicate secretly toxic lovers. Venus in the 11th friends. Venus in the 6th coworkers. Stubbornness and fixed behaviors or feelings can exist in the underlying relationship between secret enemies, toxic relationships, and even self-sabotage/being your own enemy. Watch out for undoing in the physical realm with theft, vandalism, hoarding, or maybe physical harm.
Gemini in the 12th House: We see communication, ideas, connections. Secret enemies can come in many forms - stemming from bad interactions, impressions, or opposing views. But even more of a focus is secret enemies want to seem smarter than them or more popular. Superficiality and two-faced are themes. Toxic people may bring this out in them or treat them with shallowness. Undoing can come from exterior or interior discouragement, blockage to learning, and lack of focus. Mercury aspects and placements can shed more light on interactions with secret opposition. Ex: Mercury in the 1st can indicate surface level bonds and communication but also a focus on exchanging ego/identity. Mercury in the 3rd possibly indicating siblings or extended family.
Cancer in the 12th House: Here hidden enemies are hard to 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭. Subtly, manipulation, and passive aggression are themes. Toxicity from a parent or child may be present. Tension and opposition emotionally harms. Enemies attack security, healing, and emotional confidence. Placement of the Moon can indicate where emotional damage occurs. Ex: Moon in the 1st can indicate attacks to the self. Sun Opposition Moon can mean an enemy who preys on your internal conflict and insecurities with ego vs. emotions. Smothering and over protection are themes. Maybe a friend, parent, or lover is so over protective it stunts your growth. It is through intuition and hints that this person picks up on secret enemies. Clinging/fear of letting go can also exist as their own undoing.
Leo in the 12th House: Hidden Enemies want power or dominance over you. Overshadowing, competition, bullying, arrogance, and patronizing are themes. Leo in the 7th talks a lot about open competition and the spotlight. Leo in the 12th is trying to over take you behind the scenes with power plays. Speaking of power plays the Sun’s placement can give some insight into how an enemy wants to press their willpower onto you. Sun in the 2nd will try to influence what you own/buy, compete in the material realm, criticize pleasures or wants. Sun in the 4th indicates a family member being overbearing or living in a family member’s shadow.
Virgo in the 12th House: Secret enemies or toxic people may…. *nightmare* hone in on the flaws you, yourself are very aware of and are insecure about. Criticism is neither helpful or healthy - it is harmful. Secret enemies may hide behind the mask of caretaker, healer, or helper. Deception comes in forms of hidden corruption, feelings of wasted time or unrealistic goals/ideas, and people using you or you using others - everything is a means to an end. Placement of Mercury gives hints of interaction. Mercury in the 11th tells of toxic friendships and groups. Mercury in the 5th can mean interaction with enemies can at times be playful, creative, expressive, or even romantic.
Libra in the 12th House: Relationships…. your hidden enemies are likely closer than you think. Team members, lovers, best friends, think in pairs- your partner in crime. This may be a good place to remind people that your enemies might not be intentional with harm. Before you get suspicious of your loved ones, secret enemies may be those who thrive off conflict, competition, and opposition. Enemies threaten your harmony and balance somehow. Secret enemies may treat you unfairly. Unbalance between intimacy and shallowness can be undoing. Placement of Venus can give insight into deception and relationships. Venus in the 9th can indicate over idealism and deception done by a role model/hero. Venus in the 10th can reflect deception or disillusionment from authority figures or the public.
Scorpio in the 12th House: This placement is known to produce a secret paranoid side, but the thing is these people have hidden enemies who are very sneaky, manipulative, and secretive. So they may have a good reason for thinking everyone and anyone can become an enemy one day. While betrayal, attempts to control, and vengeance are themes among hidden enemies; self-destruction and being your own enemy are very likely. While the scorpion is prone to stinging themselves let’s look at possible real enemies. Enemies are out to turn the individual against themselves. Enemies are out to harm with intent. Toxic people cause trauma or wounds, even if accidental - through possession, manipulation, jealousy, control. Placement and aspects of Pluto can give insight into how intuitive and receptive you are towards hidden enemies as well as self-awareness towards undoing. Ex: Pluto in the “other”/outer and integrative houses increase awareness and perception. Pluto in the 4th can mean perception towards toxic family members or home environment. Placement of Mars can indicate areas of facing enemies head on or revealing them. Mars in the 4th can mean confronting family or traumas from the past. Mars in the 3rd is through expression; things are revealed or they face trauma from early childhood, may need to deprogram too.
Sagittarius in the 12th House: Secret enemies can be zealous in their take down. The more subtle feelings revolve around disagreements in philosophies or beliefs. Toxic enablers of self-indulgence, recklessness, and rebellion is associated. Secret enemies mislead them/lead them on, give half-truths, teach harmful beliefs, and in general be a bad influence. Passion and arrogance from their enemies come out in spiteful bouts. Bragging and one-upping are themes as well. Placement of Jupiter can tell of clashing beliefs and character. Jupiter in the 4th means very different home life and view of family, in the 9th different morals or religion, in the 6th ways of routine, work, health, and habits.
Capricorn in the 12th House: Secret enemies likely threaten stability, ambition, status, reputation, and security. We see hidden authority, power plays, blame, guilt, and suppression. Harm or attacks are done in exchanges, calculated, like a game of chess. The enemy may be paranoid, believing the feeling is mutual. Enemies can be after their wealth and possessions. Toxicity is through coldness, control, and general negativity. Placement of Saturn shows restrictions and challenges to overcoming enemies. Saturn in the 7th can indicate reluctance to break bonds. Saturn in the 2nd can mean a struggle to look past security and possession.
Aquarius in the 12th House: Enemies are unpredictable and can bring out flaws or more so pain that is hard for you to recognize. There is a feeling of disapproval, aloofness, rigidity, and superiority plays between you and enemies. They may attack your individuality and freedom. Toxic behavior separates you from others. Isolation and uncaring can grow in you. Hidden enemies don’t respect your differences and disagree with your own unique path. Placement of Uranus can be a sign of how you can rebel and be free. Placement of Saturn can show where you gain self control. Uranus in the 1st is a gateway to expressing individuality. Saturn in the 10th is through career and maturity.
Pisces in the 12th House: Hidden enemies may be long-standing enemies from the past or have connections to karma. The tension is certainly unspoken and felt tremendously in the subconscious or via intuition. They always play the victim and you the abuser. Manipulation is strong. Motives are out of their own pain and suffering. Watch out for secret enemies claiming they want to heal or help. They claim they are out for sympathy. Being used can happen. Illusions exist here. Enabling an addiction is associated. Addiction itself or victimhood can be the enemy. Neptune placement shows path to healing and processing. Jupiter placement can show self-growth, expansion, and enlightenment. Neptune in the 5th is a good source of healing through creativity. Jupiter in the 6th is growth through service or work.
Planets in the 12th. If you have no planets, refer to the sign on the house cusps as well as the placement of the house ruler. EX: Aries in the 12th, look at what’s going on with Mars.
Sun in the 12th House: There is a battle about one’s sense of self. In terms of hidden enemies or toxicity the father is associated along with people in power. A hidden enemy will try to greatly influence this person. A secret enemy could also attempt to act like a father or person in authority over you. An enemy or more likely a toxic person will drain your energy - be an energy vampire. Hidden enemies can be highly selfish and arrogant. Masculinity can also be a source of toxicity somehow as the Sun represents “the male principle” or “how active your masculine side is”. Hidden enemies struggle with disappointment, criticism, and can impulsively misuse their personal power.
Moon in the 12th House: We can see the toxic side of femininity. Also parents, the mother, and grandmother can be connected. Thinking outside the box a secret enemy may be one who is trying to protect and nurture you but in an unhealthy way or nurturing gone wrong. Traits of an enemy or toxic person is lack of emotional control, manipulation, playing the victim, blame game, passive aggression, and always discontented/unhappy. Childhood plays a role. Secret enemies might do most of their harm when you are young. Children may play a big theme - meaning a secret enemy may reveal themselves by fighting for custody, using a child as a pawn, or set a toxic atmosphere around childbirth. Envy, chastity, and possessiveness are connected to the Moon and might be worth mentioning. The past can be a place of undoing, not being able to let go. A hidden enemy might not be able to let go either. Clinging can exist.
Mercury in the 12th House: Secret enemies reveal themselves with words…which I guess doesn’t sound so secretive. Enemies here can be sly about putting you down. Enemies are untrustworthy, slandering, and quick to attack. Siblings and extended family are associated. A toxic person may try to disconnect you from friends, the collective, or your intellectual confidence. Mercury can play the messenger but here enemies bark and bite with unethical approaches. Enemies or toxic people somehow made a connection to your mind or very much notice your social standing/place in a community. It isn’t uncommon for an enemy to form purely out of a misunderstanding.
Venus in the 12th House: We see another place where feminine toxicity can exist. Lovers are associated. Enemies can be shameless, deceptive, misuse attraction, fail to love themselves and/or others. Toxic people are those who make you feel uncomfortable, who are hard to connect with due to shallowness, or whose take advantage of your fondness, attachment, or infatuation. An enemy or toxic person may actually desire you - which creates plenty of subtle tension and harm. Lust, pettiness, heartbreak, and impatience for a lack of instant gratification are themes among toxic people or bonds. Undoing can come from going after comfort and security in unhealthy ways.
Mars in the 12th House: Another area for the toxic side of masculinity. Friendly or respected competitors/rivals may turn to enemies, standing up to an individual may reveal them as an enemy, and lustful crushes may end up as enemies. Enemies may be aggressive, antagonistic, self-serving, impulsive, and audacious. An enemy or toxic person may try to take power over you, dominate you, and silence you. Enemies can become ruthless or cruel and come into the open with fire. An enemy or toxic person may play off your passion and ambitions. They prey on them, ridicule you for them, or want to compete somehow against your feelings or desires and goals.
Jupiter in the 12th House: Secret enemies may be teachers, healers, preachers, gurus, role models, and leaders. Being conned and used is associated. Secret enemies can be know-it-all’s, boastful, exaggerators, liars, charismatic, preachy, and over confident. Toxic people intentional or not are very negative and attack your hopes, idealism, self-esteem, and talent. They may use your talents and trust. Toxic people can be disrespectful, bigoted, self-indulgent, and reckless. Secret enemies are selfish and may be focused mostly on their own beliefs and ideas. Their attacks are scattered and excessive.Toxic people hold back your growth, keep you ignorant, may try to close your mind, and can use spiritual teaching against you.
Saturn in the 12th House: Secret enemies can be people in authority such as a father, boss, grandfather, etc. Secret enemies want to control you. Being their scapegoat is associated. A secret enemy can be cold, negative, ruthless, greedy, may use fear, blame, and guilt towards you. Toxic people hold you back from success, maturity, and overall growth. While this is the house of undoing, toxic people in your life truly pull at the darkness within you- always bringing out the worst in you. It goes beyond a bad influence to ruining opportunities for you.
Neptune in the 12th House: Here we see corrupt healers, artist, musicians, spiritual teachers or leaders, and institutions. Guilt, deception, confusion, addiction, and impressionability are here. Enemies may never reveal themselves, if they do it might be too late. Secret enemies or toxic people play the victim, are martyrs, may force you to sacrifice and give, play off your weaknesses, keep you emotionally or spiritually dependent, and use intuition to harm. Reflection is here where many times toxic people could display the toxic traits in yourself. Co-dependency can exist between you and an enemy; both feeding off each other’s negativity. Secret enemies may never realize they bring you harm.
Uranus in the 12th House: Here we see a bit of a “bad influencer” trope as those who are rebels, outsiders, misfits tend to be secret enemies. Many times these enemies lead you to unpredictability, chaos, and undoing rather than purposely trying to sabotage or harm you. Misuse of intellect and power can exist here. Some geniuses, eccentrics, or anarchist can see you as an easy target to help fulfill their agenda. Toxic people may hold you back from freedom, change, and be discouraging to your individuality. Toxic people see rebellion only as a bad thing. Enemies can have superiority complexes, be hypocritical, see only the worst in humanity, is unstable, and breaks down things that are beneficial or secure. Enemies want to overwhelm you. Toxic people can be uncaring and mocking.
Pluto in the 12th House: It’s all about power. Enemies are likely people who can hold great power over you or are powerful in general. A dangerous part of this placement is you may feel magnetism and fascination towards your secret enemies. Secret enemies want to control you and some want to see you be your own undoing. They fan the flames for self-destruction. They are manipulative, malicious, paranoid, and power-hungry. Toxic people hide selfishness behind intense caring or protection, use seduction to get what they want, can be emotionally abusive, are obsessive, jealous, and controlling. This placement can be more prone to being their own secret enemy than having outside enemies.

Mars in the 12th house can lead to a WILD chaotic life. any planet in the 12th house brings a life lesson, something that can be universally shared once learnt, even karmic, and for mars? these people can experience a LOT of paranormal experiences, and are sensitive to it. unfortunately mars in the 12th can also bring aggressive hidden enemies, or even psychic attacks. these natives often experience something out of the ordinary at a young age. with mars, the planet of action and drive, these experiences can be chaotic but incredibly rewarding for self-improvement and growth. these people almost always seem to strive for self-growth and transformation, much like planets/mars in the 8th house, however it can be more spiritual, about expanding your awareness and coming to realisations, less ‘pulling the rug from under your feet’ like the 8th house. these people are incredibly wise because of this, and have many lessons and stories to tell.
they are incredibly sensitive to the world around them, and seem to draw their energy from the environment. depending on the sign, how often they’re surrounded by potentially aggressive or disturbing energies may vary. i am in awe of how they seem to be peaceful, and yet when it comes down to it, they’ll fight the whole world. they’re secretly rebels at heart, even when nobody around them suspects it. be careful not to suppress your anger and rage at the injustice and cruelty you’ve seen. these natives are more than capable of taking action for the greater good, in alignment with their higher self, and may be revered over time because of this quality. express yourself when you can, speak up, you have a culpable amount of wisdom and knowledge you’ve experienced that can help so many. not only that, your self-expression will help you grow and transform, and secure better boundaries for yourself. i’ve seen natives with this that have been targeted by many energy vampires, and you don’t deserve that. you don’t deserve them. protect and learn to believe in your passions and creativity. you’ve got a hidden power within you waiting to be unleashed, and you don’t have to be tyrannical or dominating while doing it. learn how to wield it instead to help yourself, and then help others. these people have so much potential for creativity and inspiration, and at their best, may create something out of this world for themselves and others. you have the potential to create heaven on earth. i see the fire burning within you, all you need to do now is hold it in your hands.
Any witch who's looking for more ways to connect with/give back to nature, I highly recommend picking up trash when and where you can, if it's something that's physically possible for you to do.
It can be done by anyone, anytime, anywhere, urban or suburban or rural.
It can be a ton of fun, and it will be appreciated by so many.
Red flags for Love Bombing:
The person doing it is someone you met recently (days, weeks, month ago), or they recently decided they want to get closer to you
They decide that you’re perfect (friend, relationship partner, peer, employee, student) before actually taking the time to get to know you
They talk about you as if you know each other for a long time, and make statements about you as if they’ve known you forever
They talk about plans they have for you; they’d love to be closer, travel together, live together, meet you more often, some will even talk about marriage or some kind of partnership early on even though you’ve only met recently
You get a LOT of positive attention from them, to the point where you don’t feel the need to get positive attention from anyone else, and you end up giving your full attention to them
You feel like this is the person you’ve been waiting for, someone who sees everything good in you, you consider them special and feel flattered and grateful to finally get the attention you lacked for all this time
They always seem to say the perfect things, drop perfect lines you’ve been waiting to hear, to the point where it can sound like a movie or very idealized version of reality
You feel intensely reassured about your worth, your appearance, your value, your actions, your pain, it causes a rapid change in your daily feelings about yourself
You enjoy your new perception of yourself, but it’s completely tied to this one person who created it for you, and you don’t feel special or interesting or important out of that relationship, your identity is now tied to what they feel about you
You get the sense of ‘this feels to good to be true’ but you dismiss it because you don’t want to be suspicious or anxious about one good thing that finally happened to you
Their promises get overwhelming to the point where it doesn’t seem like they could possibly deliver them but they give you a chance to indulge yourself in daydreaming and wishful thinking and you hold onto that
You feel tied not only to this person, but to the future they’re promising, and even if you don’t know them for a very long time, you feel intensely about wanting to keep them in your life, do anything to not lose them and to keep the relationship as is
If you believe in soulmates, twin souls, or any new age spirituality, this person will feel like your destined one, or they might even suggest it themselves, that they were sent by an entity to 'fulfill you’ or 'destined for you’
Your life changed from how it normally was to the point where you feel like you have a life 'before’ and 'after you’ve met them’, you even kind forget who you were before them, as you find it’s painful and lonely life you don’t want to go back to
With time, you get anxious about their perspective of you changing, because it would shatter everything good you’ve started to think about yourself because of them
It’s very hard for you to think about them critically or in a negative way
If they started thinking badly of you or started mistreating you, your heart would break
Love bombing is a manipulative tactic of getting someone attached and dependent as quick as possible, and it’s done with over-the-top attention and affirmations, future faking, mirroring, and creating an idealized version of you without actually getting to know or understand you. The promises, feelings, gestures, imagined future and compliments are not real, they’re there so you would be invested enough to ignore any other red flags, to forget to context of the relationship, to bond to the point of not leaving even if it develops into abuse.
If you’ve fallen for it, do not feel guilty; this is designed to get your defenses down and to make you feel fulfilled to the point where your reasoning turns to mush and you grasp that break from being devalued and neglected all of the time like it’s a lifeline. It’s often impossible to resist the strong emotions and relief at being offered, however fake, positive attention. Previous victims of abuse, neglected children, mentally ill, autistic, or in any way vulnerable members of society are very susceptible to this, because they’re often the ones starved for attention and will not question the kind of attention they get because they need it too badly. Whoever uses this tactic is aware of this, and is ready to dangle affection in front of you in order to trap you into abuse. You are not responsible for falling for it, doing this to you is criminal. This is what a start of an abusive relationship looks like.
How to Maintain your Motivation
1. Set realistic and achievable goals. These should be something that appeal to you as it’s hard to go after another person’s goals.
2. Think of meaningful ways to reward your progress.
3. Expect to have set-backs and encounter obstacles. When that happens, focus your mind and renew your determination. Refuse to give up.
4. Decide to remain a positive thinker. Refuse to ever stop believing in yourself. When you feel discouraged, decide that you’ll fight on.
5. Share your goals with others, and seek encouragement when you’re finding it hard to keep going on your own.
6. Practice saying no to other options and distractions that may seem appealing – but distract you from your goal.
7. Post inspirational quotes in places you can see to encourage you to work to achieve your goal.
8. Practice self care so you don’t burn out. You need to pace yourself if you are going to reach your goal.
Caitlyn has this theme about rain throughout season 1. Each with a different meaning behind it. This is my interpretation behind it.
She was seen under the rain with an umbrella when she meets with Jayce (protection, sheltered), she was thrown into the rain with Vi in their breakup scene (sadness, hurt, no longer sheltered), and in the shower scene reliving the moment (regret).
The mixture of blood and water ties more into the 'red' and 'blue' theme of the relationship rather than the rain. (We see this in their clothings and in the final scene where Jinx fires a blue rocket under the red sky with Caitlyn and Vi holding each other for support. There is probably more examples but I have not delve too deep into that aspect).
This whole text post is just mostly hoping or thinking in the next season they kiss in the rain which is often a trope in romance movies where kissing in the rain symbolizes that it washes away all of their differences and that love conquers all ('Dear John' and 'The Notebook' as examples).
wait.. yeah, she does have a whole “water pouring down on me” thing.
First time she was “sheltered” from the rain--omg. just had thought--Oil and water.
When Vi first talked about oil and water I assumed “undercity is oil.. because (a) it’s grimey and water is ‘clean’ and (b) oil is usually the heavier of the two and sinks to the bottom, water is literally on top. oil bottom zaun, water top piltover.” But they released official (fan?)art of Vi and Caitlyn washing their faces and Vi was was water and Caitlyn was oil--So applying that symbolism to Caitlyn in the rain:
Ok, so first time she was behind the gate on her family’s estate, admitting sheepishly that she was a misfit and following her mother’s orders to come inside and away from her friend at the gate. She’s (1) out in the rain (2) by choice but (3) still protected from getting wet. We all know Caitlyn later chooses to step out from “under her family’s umbrella” (although not fully since she still lives with them) but this could be symbolic of the first choice to “sit outside under the rain.” This is the first insight we get to Caitlyn feeling different from her family and the hoi polloi of Piltover. And she did it for a friend (who’d been cast out of said hoi polloi). Maybe symbolic for the first time she’s seeing an unfairness, or understanding there’s more beyond the world she’s been shown?
The second time she (gets a nod of encouragement/approval from her mom and then) runs into the rain after Vi. No umbrella, no “protection from the rain,” actively choosing to get soaked by the downpour (which didn’t look that bad for how wet it made them... more symbolism (but in lesbian)). Maybe symbolic of how Vi was Caitlyn’s connection to what’s really happening in the city?
The third time she was in a shower pining over Vi with her blood falling in the water. She’s in her parents home, still choosing to get soaked, no umbrella... pining after Vi. She can’t let go of both Vi and what’s she’s learned--still getting “rained on” even though she’s inside. And the bleeding... the spent a while showing her blood mixing with the water, dissipating and stuff. Blood is personal, blood is “life force,” for her blood to be actively leaking out of the bandage her father set for her and dissipating with the water on the floor... I would read that as a commitment.. or a kind of “unifying” with the water (and whatever it stands for). Going beyond the obstacles set up by her parents to join/unify with/commit to the fight for the undercity/Vi.
And the look on her face in that shower scene is yearning and determination. That gurl’s wheels were turning in that shower scene. (like a split second longer than this gif and the context is there)
So that’s my take on Caitlyn and water. That maybe it could symbolize the necessary points on her journey to “heal the city” (and connect with Vi).
But also
in astrology and tarot, and other elemental based fields, water is emotions. So maybes it’s also just how much Caitlyn is embracing the way she feels about vi.
But oh damn, that would mean the shower scene is full blown commitment to Vi. Love that for them.
.... it’s probably the emotions thing. but I still had fun analyzing the “oil and water” art for this context.
