Homestar Runner is the way that it is in large part because it's a response to the 90s edgelord bullshit I'm talking about; while the characters had earlier appeared in print, the Flash animated version that everybody remembers didn't debut until January of 2000. If it's aged well, that isn't an accident – it's a product of its authors looking at the state of 1990s Internet culture and making a conscious decision to be Not That.

it's its own thing, run by different people! but ultimately, we're all part of the same larger umbrella of the "high quality ripping" community. this means that there are a lot of people who contribute to both, and the channels have interacted before.

I worked on Deltarune Chapter 5! Just a little bit :)

I was lucky enough to continue my role as music assistant to Toby Fox on the fifth chapter of Deltarune for the track "Flower Castle," which I worked on in a very similar capacity to the work I did on "Attack of the Killer Queen" from Chapter 2.

This time around, Toby sent me a full multi-track acapella demo for me to transcribe to MIDI before sending it back over to him to arrange. It was amazingly fleshed out just from the reference he sent!

I worked on transcribing this concurrently with the "Abandoned Town" and "Underwater Town" for the Undertale 10th Anniversary stream, and was very surprised when they turned out to not be for Chapter 5 😅

Thank you all for the amazing response to Chapter 5!!! It means the world to me to see how much it's resonated with so many people <3
