Paul Stadler could’ve been the best villain the show ever had, making him interim chief of surgery, terrorize Jo and Alex and Matthew Morrison (while he is problematic) is just to good to waste him for 3 eps (and a scene) and instead of immediately killing him off, have a built up, have him turn some people against jo for some time like he had topnotch villain material

Why was William H. Macy only awarded as best comedy actor as Frank Gallagher, like ok he’s funny but his performance is much more than that like Frank(next to fiona,) is the heart of the show
