Mantis is SUCH a pretty bird, and because Bug raised her, she's also the best of both worlds- wants to be pet by humans, easily hangs out with the other birds. Lets me put 4-leaf clovers on her head like a hat so I can take cute photos of her.
Felt compelled to draw this magical scene <3

So Splash turned 10 today!
Happy CIE to, as always, my dipshit dumbass. We had a good day out, took the afternoon off work to go get lunch and find a rock shop (his only birthday request, to buy some rocks lol). Did a lot of projecting and singing and talking, out loud when I could.
10 years is a long time haha, last year I felt very warm and fuzzy and sappy about the passage of time, but this year I just feel comfortable and fond, and I like that a lot too.
Well I feel AWESOME because I'm 10 and you have to do everything I say now. <- I don't know why you think this applies to every day instead of me humoring you for your birthday. It's because I'm funny.
But yeah. A decade of us. That's pretty cool. Oh also I think he's as settled as he's ever going to be, never really projects as anything other than a 'yote anymore. I'll miss the bugs if that's the case (he says: I'll miss the wings but rules are made up) (I'm too lazy to get the HTML for orange again lol). Anyways have some rocks:

A quiet evening in the middle of spring.
The sun has already slipped behind the mountains, leaving a soft glow in the sky that is about to fade. The air carries the delicate scent of the first daisies, and the last birds are finishing their songs.
It’s that fragile moment when the world exhales and everything becomes still.
A soft transition between light and night, filled with calm, warmth, and silence.
