Yup. Lobster used to be considered just a half a step above cockroaches. People facing execution would request as their last meal “anything but f***ing lobster.” But it cost money to get it inland, and rich people who didn’t live on the shore decided that it must be fancy because of the cost, and now even people living in historic lobster-fishing areas can’t always afford it.

Thinking of Dean and Cas in a dom/sub relationship, where whenever Dean does something unhealthy or self-destructive or slips into self-loathing, Cas will “punish” him by cuffing him to the bed (spreader bar, ball-gag, the whole nine yards) and spends hours just kissing and stroking him all over and soothing him and reminding him that he’s beautiful and good.

Dean doesn’t know how to react, because he never got accustomed to that kind of affection and isn’t sure he deserves it, and can’t fall back on his usual cocky swagger to defuse it.  Sometimes he even starts crying, but by the time it’s done he always kisses Cas over and over and thanks him, and the two have the most gentle, loving, affectionate sex ever and fall asleep spooning afterwards.
