Lmaaao. My brother is talking to us about his favorite YouTuber (I didn’t hear the name) and started telling us how the poor guy is being fined by the city for not looking after his rental property where he left the tenants with water damage and flooding for months and @mothman-etd’s face slowly transformed from one of calmly said, “oh, so he’s a landlord.”

And my brother was like, “yeah, and the city is totally being unfair to him! like how is it his fault the house flooded?”

And now Mothman is ten minutes in to explaining what a slumlord is and why they should all be guillotined lmaoooo

Mothman: I don’t care. He opted for the responsibility of a second home. He should be in a position to maintain it. If he has endangered people by not ensuring the property he rents to them is safe for habitation, he should be fined by the city until he fixes the problem.

Mothman: No. He opted to have a second property. If he can’t afford to maintain it, he shouldn’t own it.

Honestly the best part of being a barista was charging cops for their drinks. They're so used to getting free shit so it was SOOOOO good for them to pull up to the window and for me to be like "$6.47 :)" and them to make this whole elaborate display of slowly pulling their wallet out and handing their card over bc they weren't expecting to pay.
