I love you trans people I love you so much I'm so glad you're alive I'm so glad you're here I'm so glad you exist
Get radical.
Meta/Facebook worked with Cambridge Analytica and Russia to micro-target and infleunce 2016 election. No one did shit about it.
this sounds like me so much it terrifies me when people offer to pay for anything and it makes me feel like allowing them to pay will make me indebted to them
my toxic trait is never tracking my periods so every 28 days i gaslight myself into thinking the world is ending when the pms symptoms hit me like a freight train
Letâs go o o o o o o o o o o
Itâs important to understand, the Satanic Temple is an activist group.
They donât worship Satan - they donât actually believe in Satan. They call themselves Satanists because Satan is the antagonist in Christian theology.
They are actively trying to promote the separation of church and state, and prevent the US from becoming a theocracy. And their method is genius: theyâre fighting religion with religion.
Essentially, they go up against religious-based legislation by petitioning for their own religion to also be represented, since separation of church and state means all religions must be equally represented by the government, or none are. If only one is, then itâs getting special privileges and thatâs not allowed.
For real, I think thereâs multiple places where town councils used to have some local religious leader open their public meetings with a prayer, until the local Satanic Temple volunteered. They generally sue when turned down, and then when the court tells the town you let the satanists pray or you stop having prayers at government meetings⌠they stop having prayers at government meetings.
And I have to say, as a Christian who doesnât want the church within ten city blocks of the government, I admire their activism.
I agree with the message but?! this is tone deaf coming from one of the elitist, most prestigious fashion events in the world. you are rich to even be invited, an event where the ticket is literally $30,000.... Iâm gonna eat YOU
None of you people understand the actual reality of how much the ultra-rich hoard. Aoc is not even a blip on the radar of rich. Aoc grew up poor in the bronx and continued to work as a bartender while she was on the campaing trail.
Is she wealthier than the average person? Yeah. No shit sherlock. But does she qualify...as RICH?? My fam...my guy....my bud.....the answer is simply No.
Aoc wants to tax the 1%. The people who can afford to buy space programs, influence elections and send countries to war.
She is not referring to...like....lil nas x here. Shes referring to jeff fucking bezos.
Please learn the difference between BEING WEALTHY (aoc) and being RICH (bezos, gates, etc)
For the love of god. SHE DIDNâT PAY FOR HER TICKET!!!!! OR her dress!!! She was invited by a designer who fucking paid for all of that shit!!! This is SO embarrassing!!!! Do you guys not fact check ANYTHING you read?? This is your level of critical thinking skills??????????? Yeah working class hero AOC paid $35k to go to a rich person costume party in a dress that said Tax The Rich and at no point did she or any of her staff think âhey maybe paying $35k to do this will make u seem like a hypocrite.â Of COURSE THATâS NOT WHAT HAPPENED!!!!! This is literally LITERALLY what they are playing on Fox News right now you are all literally regurgitating right wing propaganda without a thought in the world. Please for the love of god when you see something that seems ridiculously out of character or doesnât make sense, FACT CHECK IT!!!!
She literally said on her Instagram post, dress creds and all.
Some of you don't seem to realise that price tags on this kind of thing are very variable. Some people are invited to draw attention - I'm gonna bet most of the singers there did not have to pay, because they're part of the product.
Rich weirdos like Elon Musk have to pay for their ticket. Randos who just really want to hobnob with the rich and famous definitely have to pay. Also, this isn't a for-profit event - it's a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. It's very much not like, concert tickets or supermarket food with marked price tags.
The organisers invite elected officials (for free) because the Met museum is NYC government property (and if it wasn't it would charge a hell of a lot more than $25 for entry! As it is $25 per visitor (less for students, free for children and caregivers) only barely covers maintenance, climate control, preservation of the art, curation etc)
So basically AOC was invited as a matter of protocol, for free, and instead of showing up in a pretty dress and sitting quietly like they expected her to, she proudly wore a dress (from a Black designer, no less) emblazoned with TAX THE RICH in front of the richest bunch of elites in the city??
This is some astonishing bravery.
This slow cooker Mongolian beef is flank steak cooked with garlic, ginger, brown sugar and soy sauce. This crock pot recipe tastes just like a meal you would get at a Chinese restaurant!

If you are trans or nb, and you want to make sure your wishes are respected in death, I ask that you please watch this video. this might get buried in the notes, but i'll be glad if anyone sees this. You have rights. simple as that, and Caitlin Doughty made this video to share with you all of your rights and how to make sure that your wishes are respected.
I will always reblog Caitlin Doughty. Her channel was a huge part of me knowing how to handle my momâs death process.
This woman will do right by you, trans folk. Take the advice given above.

even if my titties arenât physically out, theyâre spiritually out, and thatâs what matters
AND a race one since the most affected regions will be Africa, Asia and Oceania
as a friend pointed out, this headline makes it sound like supply will be dwindling. supply is fine. people will be *priced out*.
this is fucking MURDER.
insulin has been mass produced (from animal extracts) since -1923-. slow acting insulin has existed since the â50s, and âhumanâ genetically engineered insulin (derived from E. coli bacteria) has existed since 1982.
insulin treatment for diabetes is not some new or âunprovenâ treatment. according to beyondtype1, âHumalog rapid-acting insulin came on to the market with a list price of $21 a vial in 1997.â adjusting for inflation, a vial these days should cost about $34 at most. instead, it costs over $300. there is NO reason for it to be steadily gaining in price to the point that diabetics are unable to afford their lifesaving medication, other than the sheer inhuman greed of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
let me reiterate: life without insulin (for Type 1 diabetics in particular) is a slow and painful death sentence. the ability to treat diabetes is a relatively modern phenomenon that has allowed countless people to live full, healthy lives. we should be expanding full covereage and access to insulin to diabetics the world over, and it should be FREE.
Have yâall heard about Open Insulin Foundation?
â Weâre a team of biohackers with a variety of backgrounds, and skills, and relationships to insulin and diabetes from many cities and countries around the world, including Oakland, California; Baltimore, Maryland; Paraiba, Brazil; Dakar, Senegal; Yaounde, Cameroon; and Puerto Rico. Weâre working to develop the first practical, small-scale, community-centered model for insulin production to make insulin accessible to all. We envision a world in which communities in need have local sources of safe, affordable, high-quality insulin, and where people living with diabetes and their communities can own and govern the organizations that produce the medicine they depend on to survive.Â
What We Do
We are creating an open-source (freely available) model for insulin production that centers on sustainable, small-scale manufacturing and open-source alternatives to production. We are developing protocols to produce short-acting (lispro) and long-acting (glargine) insulin, working on developing open-hardware equivalents to traditional production equipment, are researching sustainable regulation pathways to bring our insulin to the public, and are building capacities for local, small-scale manufacturing.
How Do I Participate?
Our work would not be possible without the support of volunteers, interns, and community advisors. We welcome people of all backgrounds from all over the world to bring their enthusiasm, time, connections, and experiences, both in life and in work. Our volunteers promote us on social media, build equipment, run experiments, write reports and blog posts, facilitate meetings, connect with other organizations and groups, meet with experts in the field, run virtual events, and contribute in designing tools, resources, and methods of all sorts.
Potential Partners
We welcome collaboration with other groups that share our missionâcommunity labs, academic institutions, patient advocacy groups, and NGOs.
Donate
Your donation will help us get closer to our goal. With a healthy financial situation, we can pay for lab supplies, acquire lab equipment, recruit scientists, and pay for consultation fees for regulation and manufacturing experts.â

I feel sorry for the old man, but it was stealing. There is no apparently about it. Water is not free, itâs not a right to have it, and people pay must pay for it. If a government gives a thing to you like utilities, its still not free because they take it from somewhere else, like in taxes. Â
my friend visiting my house: hey iâm thirsty can i get a glass of water
me:
Nestle isnât gonna fuck you
Also water IS a human right, itâs classified as one by the UN the only country that really disagrees with this is the United States
This is where malicious compliance comes into play... We once saw sprinklers at noon going on a police hq and called on them. (Sprinklers should go after dark, less water evaporates) it's not ppl wasting resources, it's institutions. Don't call on individuals, call on organizations, companies and institutions.
