Rina, unfortunately, couldn't say she was new to this kind of thing; being followed. Working at a bar meant she was at risk for men seeking company to latch onto her. Especially after they'd had too many to drink. Being a bar that employed only women gave them a sense of confidence as well, knowing there were no male workers to step in.

Rina normally handled it herself, but she was relieved to have a bit of help. Playing along, she gave him a smile. "I'd love to grab a bite," she said, hoping she appeared that she knew the stranger.

Drake wasn’t dressed in his uniform like he normally was, a day off, he had been drinking in that bar she was working at in the back observing and working on some cases he wanted to get figured out. He had noticed when she left another suspicious male followed behind her, that gave Drake a gut reaction to which he followed through and helped by making it look like he was catching up to his friend from the exit.

“a bite to eat great, let’s get some food eh?” The Canadian offered putting his arm around her shoulders as if they knew one another well. Moving his free hand he got his phone out putting it in the selfie motion on the camera lifting it above them to look behind them but to an untrained observer it looked as if they were taking a selfie together. “He’s still following.” He whispered then smiled acting to take a picture then put his phone away. “Turn left down this ally I’ll deal with him.”

Rina knew it was probably not a good idea to walk home alone, but Japan wasn't known for being a dangerous country. However, even if her life wasn't on the line didn't mean people couldn't do stuff to harm or traumatize her. She could handle herself halfway decently, but she was still a small human.

Should she also be trusting a stranger? Questionable. But the glance at the phone screen told her that he wasn't lying. She recognized someone from the bar who had been laying it on thick. She had hoped they wouldn't simply gotten bored or distracted, but she was wrong. Rina gave a small nod at the instructions, slipping down towards the ally with him.
