One of the massive Art Deco eagles on the 61st floor of the iconic Chrysler Building in Midtown Manhattan, May 6th, 1931. Many aspects of the building's exterior design purposely incorporated elements of Chrysler automobiles including stylized hood ornaments, hubcaps and fenders created using brick and steel. The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and the GE Building can be seen in the background while the eagle looms overhead.
