Hello remix followers, and welcome to week 3! So the chumps at a certain audio site wouldn't let me upload a file due to c@pyR!ght issues and I had to bring this week's mixup to you via MixCloud...  ;)

No biggie! This week I'm really mixing it up and bringing you something a little different. If you haven't heard of a band called Glass Animals yet, you should get on that real quick.  Coming out of the UK, they're doing something beautiful and unique as songwriters, with a simple electro alternative format, and some really haunting vocals to bring it all together. This track is no exception. 

Someone really important to me introduced me to this track when he was going through a difficult time, and it hurt me so much knowing this feeling all too well and not being able to help. The more I listened to this song, the more it brought back these memories and emotions that I think are important to feel and bring you down and mess you all up so that you can finally let them go and really just know who the fuck you are... songs are funny that way. They have the power to trigger these feelings in you and will forever be associated with times imprinted in our minds and souls, but they also have the power to help us heal.

Big Dusty Remix

This week's mix up features ProEra with a new track from Joey Bada$$ (or however the fuck clever way he spells that) and produced by Kirk Knight.  It's pretty ill, not gonna lie, I heard the beat and it was so trippy I felt like I was getting lifted...so then I got lifted and wrote this little freestyle.

In creating this remix of the week idea, I felt like it would be a good practice on different styles, different flows, and not limiting my creative process. I hope it serves me in freeing up the mind so the ass can follow.. So in the style of Joey Bad, I give you da Big Mystie Freestyle. One.
