Trying again
Well, haven't touched this in a hot second! Alas, I am not a premed anymore, I am finishing my masters and then will be matriculating into med school this summer! So I'm going to try to document my journey a bit more on this page!

WHEN A PATIENT HAS ATRIAL FIBRILLATION PLUS ATRIAL FLUTTER
ThatāsĀ āAtrial Flubberā
YOU DID NOT.
Doctors are not better than nurses. Nurses are not better than doctors. These are two different roles with different responsibilities. Neither is better than the other. Both are essential.
Happy Womenās History Month
I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. I did it once, I can do it again.
I NEEDED THIS SO BADLY
Support your friendsā resolutions, big or small!
I feel like this is important. No matter what your goals in life are you got this ok? I love and support you all very much!
Well. Hereās a bigāun. I finally had time to work on printables so I decided to make a new version of the exam pack printable. Hopefully this helps with exam season.
Includes:
IFTTT - Write down rewards for accomplishing important tasks! Motivate yourself!
Exam Schedule - Keep track of all the deets for up to 18 exams! (dear lord, I hope you never have to suffer such a fateā¦but in case you do, I added a couple rows, just for you). Check off your exams as you take them.
Monthly Calendar - Keep track of important exam dates. Plan up to 6 months in advance, like the extremely prepared student you are/aspire to be. Comes w/ legend if you like color coding ān stuff . :D
Major Topics - Keep track of topics covered on your exam(s).
Scoreboard + Graph - Keep track of your exam scores as you take your exams. Visualize your progress. There are enough graphs to record exam scores in 6 subjects.
D-Day Calendar - Figure out your study schedule in the context of how many days you have left until your exam. Each page has 36 days.
Weekly Calendar - Keep on top of your study schedule; you can plan out your days or just write about your study plan for the week. Also serves as daily planner.
Self-Evaluation - See how you did on certain topics on an exam. Helpful when youāre reviewing past exams or mock exam results.

Good luck on your studies, everyone!!
Postscript: Unfortunately, this printable isnāt available for editing. Because of this, Iām opening up my ask box for feedback regarding some small edits you might like me to make on this printable. This means that at a later date, I will aggregate your feedback and try to make an even newer (possibly better) version of this printable! So allās well that ends well.
somehow I got 95/20 on an assignment
I hope they never fix it and leave it this way forever
reblog the Awesome Grade picture for awesome grades
i absolutely hate it when advice posts tell you to study all the time. i just read one that said,Ā āif you sleep now, youāll dream. if you study now, youāll live your dream.ā i mean, it could be metaphorical, but itās actually a really unhealthy message. studying constantly is not healthy. you need to have a balanced life. you need to have a social life, you need to exercise, you need to sleep. how on earth can you be the best version of yourself if you only study? look after yourself. get at least 6 hours sleep a night. eat healthy food. go outside and see your friends. do things that you love. studying constantly, through the night and day, is not good for you at all.Ā and itās time that the studyblr community learned that.
Who would ever stop studying with this setup? Study room of my dreams
this is the perfect grade of good luck
reblog in 5 seconds and all of your grades will inch ever closer to perfect
āprogress not perfectionā but why not heheheĀ

How To Survive a Full Course Load
Hey Guys! Here are some things I do when I know my semester is going to be rough! Hope you find some of these helpful!!
Eat with Purpose: I purposefully do not work when I am eating. I take that time, even if it is just 5 or 10 minutes to watch some TV (I am currently on season 6 of ER!), listen to music or catch up with friends. There is absolutely no reason to be working through your meals and honestly I would go insane if I had no time to just chill out for a second.Ā
Donāt be too Rigid: I am the type of person who has a hard time sticking to a schedule. Whenever I make one (and I always do in the hopes that I will stick to it lol), Iām always disappointed the very next day because I just canāt stick to it. If you plan on going to the library or studying for x amount of time, just go with the flow. If you get burnt out with one subject in an hour, switch to another and maybe come back later and donāt beat yourself up about it. NOW if keeping a tight schedule is your thing, go for it!Ā
Be Social: Nothing is more isolating than spending 24/7 in the library or at home at your desk studying. Please please please work in some free time for yourself. Whether it be hang out with friends, go out to dinner with your bf/gf or getting a little too drunk (if youāre of age lol, not condoning underaged drinking), it is so incredibly important to step away from your school work a little while and relax. Trust me, you will come back feeling refreshed and ready to hit the books.
Take Care of your Body: I cannot emphasize this enough! I tend to eat pretty crappy if Iām in a rush (I love me some chik fil a) and after a while it makes me feel terrible. Iāve recently been into crossfit, and the fact that there are scheduled classes and that I am paying for them really forces me to go. Keeping care of your body will keep you going for a long, happy and successful future :)
