“Totally back in love” -- Petekey Primer
this is totally not written as a way to replace the original crucios post. rip in peace.
idk why but i was never quite able to accept that fraternities and sororities exist and they're actually exclusive and secret and work with invitations and stuff. y'all basically have cults at school and everyone is fine with it wow
"im gonna be a great student this year"

love how Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt fucked so hard that everyone was just like “ok that’s his song now”
that everyone includes trent reznor
guardian angel but instead of being sent as a gift from god or whatever they just hit someone with their car and felt so bad about it that they appointed themself as their guardian angel to make up for it
Gay women are allowed to do whatever
“she blew up a planet” okay and? your homophobia is showing
Lesbians can’t blow up the planet, that’s evil. No MATTER their sexual orientation.
No it’s fine
another great post sent directly from god
we have a one-word-phrase in turkish that explains how this makes me feel.
koydu.
a direct translation would be "it put.". you could furthermore explain it by telling how it actually means to say "it put [its dick] [in me]" as a way to describe how harshly it makes you face reality and therefore upsets you.
the actual meaning people put into it, however, is way more intense. you use it when something shocks you with the way it flips your stomach. it shatters your soul by speaking specifically to you.
I am strangely tired, not from having talked so much but at the mere thought of what I still have to say.
Academia Aesthetics Aren't Toxic
i don't understand why people think academia aesthetics are toxic. sure, they mostly prioritize eurocentric studies but that's just what we've seen so far??
the aesthetic itself was inspired by Donna Tartt's The Secret History, which takes place in New England. now, Donna Tartt is judged a lot for being racist (especially in The Goldfinch) therefore maybe the aesthetic is misjudged because of its inspiration. But people say that it doesn't represent other cultures. that's true. it was created and initially used by white people who went (or wanted to go) to prestigious colleges that THEY knew of, which are obviously either in the US or europe. other cultures -or rather, WE liked the aesthetic (because hello??? it's so pretty) and started using it. after a while, we wanted to see some diversity: students of other ethnicities, architecture from all over the world, art and literature from all over the world.
the thing is, other than actual racist people who like this aesthetic, the aesthetic itself is not racist. everyone is free to post pictures or traits or documents that they think belong to the dark academia aesthetic. it isn't supposed to be liked by everyone, nothing is. even if it's not something the world is used to seeing, think of it like fashion trends: you may hate it at one point and love it at another.
sure we've never seen a taixue as part of the academia aesthetics but no one is stopping us. all we need is some filters. that's it. if you have a nice and old piece of architecture, which is preferably a school, in your country you can very well help the aesthetic become more diverse. but PLEASE don't blame all white people for being racist just because they didn't put other cultures in the aesthetic, when you would most likely get mad for appropriating your culture if they did.
just to be clear, i'm in no way saying that racism doesn't exist or that we shouldn't fight it or that other cultures aren't seen as inferior. also, it's important to know the controversial aspects of what you enjoy and to educate people for it. what i'm saying is instead of making people feel bad for using an aesthetic for fun (which, again, if was based on your culture you'd be mad) in the name of fighting racism, use your creativity and help the aesthetic become diverse.
The Loki creators will just say anything to make it seem like their show was so progressive and inclusive when it comes to gender and sexuality when they did absolutely nothing of the sort.
Sylvie doesn't wear anything we haven't seen before from another female MCU character.
Don't forget about Agents of Shield
Yeah, the only thing different is Sylvie's pants are a little looser or maybe a vest with no zipper. That's the huge innovation, no zipper in the front. But not much more than that. Didn't even realize just how samey so many of the MCU ladies costumes are. Really makes me appreciate the Dora Milaje and Ruth E. Carter work all the more.
Actually I think it can be taken back even further.
The lack of zipper, that all that sets Sylvie's costume apart from the rest.
Sylvie clothes don't even look scavenged. They are way to clean and pristine and that vest is something she had to have made herself. I honestly at this point have no respect for the costume design in the Loki series, it antithesis of creativity.
Yeah, it looks like she bought it off the rack at Asgard's Party City on clearance. A scavenged outfit should look worn, mismatched and like it's been though some shit over the years. Hell, Loki's beige nightmare looks like it's been through more apocalypses than hers.
Hey, cool. Don't oversexualize women all well and good. But there is still problem in how women still always have to be pretty. Loki is beat, bloody and disheveled by the end and Sylvie's hair isn't even messy. She has a salon quality dye job. Women aren't allowed to be ugly. They rarely if ever allowed to look beat up, tired and dirty. This is someone who grew up in multiple apocalypses. Even Nat has the occasional cut and smudge on her face. Just because Sylvie doesn't have a plunging neck line doesn't make her costume progressive or new.
Costume designer claims her suit is genderless yet ut has boobs and it looks like a corset. Dress a male in it, in his size of course, and he will look...just ridicilous.
Loki's outfits from previous movies were genderless. We have seen people of all genders cosplaying him. Take Loki's costumes from movies and dress women in them & you wont be able to tell they are wearing armour a man had on. Dress a female in Loki's TDW costume. She will be very womanly in it while Tom looks manly AF in it.
Again, this woman claims Sylvie's costume is genderless but gives it corset and boobs.
Want real genderless armour?
Oh and btw. The costume doesnt even fit Sophia properly. Its laughable.
So Loki always had genderless costume.
That is 1 of reasons he didnt fill the typical male stereotype.
And these pricks from series act like its something they invented!
i liked the series simply because i got to see loki. there's absolutely nothing else i liked about it. genderfluid loki? no, they put a male and a female loki. not really necessary but romance? oh yeah, they kissed themselves. mighty god of mischief? nah they're a simp. for their other variant, though, not for their lovely friend who always helped them. plot? idk what you're talking about.
i really don't understand how they could waste such potential. you could pay half the money to loki fans and they would make a much better series
i won't be jealous or upset if you hang out with other people while we're dating because i'm a normal person with reasonable expectations in a relationship. however if you kill anyone without me it's over. we're done.
my question is, is it over because they killed someone and you're not sure if it was the right decision since you didn't see what happened OR is it because you missed all the fun?
This will never not be funny to me.
I saw a cow being thrown over a fence by two other cows, just by using their heads to lift up the original cow.
i didn't question that two cows could lift a cow with their heads. i was like oh wow that's an interesting thing to witness, but then i checked out the tags. one being "dream". i went what does this have to do with dreaming???? then i saw the username.
i've lost count of times i got confused just because i failed to notice the username of this specific account.
licherally cannot explain to adults these days that im actually so cool with the idea of being "just an employee" somewhere as long as i am paid enough to live comfortably and i also like the job. "but dont you want to be rich?? dont you want to always be striving for more???" like that sounds EXHAUSTING and i like having friends so
i don't know if this exists in other religions (or maybe it's a country thing idek) but we have whatsapp stickers of, like, text messages that are sent from "allah" that say:
-wHAT
-that was not very nice of you, my subject
-?
-i'll fuck the mothers of subjects like you
-that was unpleasant
-allah has left the chat
-allah has added you to the group of those who are going to hell
im not even religious but they are my favorite stickers along with the sticker of an illustration of a kitten drinking strawberry milk
