Is there anything more liberating than seeing an assignment and thinking “you know what? My grade in this class can take a hit” and not doing it

props to hums people wtf! i can bullshit my way through any stem essay because literally u just have to repeat stuff. but for a hums paper u have to say stuff AND it has to be new stuff from your brain. wack.
#FINALLY the solidarity we need to defeat business majors
long summer days, countless pages of reading
[recent instastories] we have the year 2020. I‘m writing my thesis in a car, due to a pandemic and my increasing anxiety levels at home. It‘s my favorite place to be anyway, so life is good.

Happy May Day! Today was our first reading group over Zoom on Ovid’s ‘Fasti’ which was really cool. We’re working on reading a book from it a week and I’m so keen, what I’ve read so far is super interesting. Especially when you consider the facets of the Roman calendar that Ovid ~didn’t~ include
Also had a session with my supervisor today to go over some thesis stuff. Trying to come up with a solid bibliography for my first chapter so I can start writing, that’s gonna be my goal before our next meeting in two weeks
1.5.20 // how is it may already? it feels like january was only yesterday but still so long ago. anyway, happy beltane and blessed be! today is the sabbath beltane and I am so excited, I plan to cook a lovely meal this evening ♡ the sun is shining and the garden is blooming! I think I might try to move my furniture around a bit because it is so hard to see my laptop against the window... my room is quite small though so that might be a problem! I will post pictures if I manage it!

sometimes you just gotta chug a cappuccino and move on.
11:36 am, 04.26.2020 / what a strange few weeks it’s been! my life has been pretty crazy - as a senior i’ve technically passed all of my classes, so i no longer have schoolwork. here’s a peek into my life right now: i’m reading jane austin and scribbling out to-dos in my planner. happy sunday!

good to know that there is one thing that has not changed this semester: I still have no idea how to draw shadows

today's breakfast & the song that perfectly fits my mood right now as i technically graduated high school today but didn't have the ceremony or actually anything due to the coronavirus

19.03.2018; writing the first chapter of the two hundred chapters that i need to learn for the diplomacy exam. it’s going to be a looong way until i’m ready to take it, but i’m happy to start.
04.23.20 | a quiet, rainy morning. coffee in hand, about to start a take-home final.
