A Gumball Machine Caterpillar! I had a lot of fun drawing this one, maybe I’ll make him into a plushie someday! I’d honestly like to make a group of candy based buggies at some point :3

Candy corn firefly? Chocolate nonpareil ladybug? 🤔 We shall see.

The Orange kitty was the first thing I drew after I took a break back in March, hence the different versions.

Mini Bees are getting a little upgrade! 🐝 🐝 🐝

In the past I wasn’t as confident in my sewing skills with Minky and so I always made the Mini Bees with fleece to make it easier. I’ve always hoped to eventually upgrade them, and now here we are!!!

So aside from the new Machine Embroidered faces these Minis will now be made with Minky, and the wings will be made with flannel and will no longer have a raw edge on the fabric.

With these little upgrades the Minis are now a true Mini Match to the Big Bees!!

Oh and now they come in 3 different colors options! 🟡 ⚫ 🟤

After years of hand embroidering every little bee face I am finally upgrading to machine embroidered bee faces!

Last year I was finally able to get a small embroidery machine and I wanted my bees to be the first friend to get the upgrade 🐝💛

Here is a comparison of old face vs new face.

While I will miss the charm of my hand embroidered bees, I’m so glad to get that time back 😭

Something that used to take an hour or so to hand embroider now only takes 10ish minutes. It’s such a game changer!!

Excited to also implement this with my beetles and other bug plushies too! I’ve got some beetles in the works I promise 😊

(I also want to make moths but let me not get too ahead of myself cause those aren’t on the books this year)

As promised here are little hints as to what is to come in 2026!

Maybe I’ll give more hints as we go through 2026, but I wanted to challenge myself a bit this year.

During the summer last year (after getting overwhelmed with work, and all the projects I wanted to do) I shifted my focus to reorganizing my brain and figuring out what project resonated with me the most. Instead of spending time doom and glooming over the art I wasn’t doing. This tentative launch schedule came from that.

A little late on posting this, I originally thought I didn’t have enough to show off from last year…but after looking back I realized I did more than I thought! So here is a little recap of some of the art I made last year. Some of these I’ve posted previously and some I haven’t!

Apologies for disappearing last year… 🫣 I got a Promotion at work and things were a hectic for awhile! Took me a bit to get my work/life balance back, but I finally got back into the swing of things last fall (which is where some of these unseen works came from).

Despite everything I did end up hitting my secret goal for 2025, which was to make new merch for my Etsy. I haven’t launched them yet since I finished them up late last year, but I hoping to start sharing those soon. 🤩

I’ve got a tentative launch calendar with some hints that I’ll be sharing later this week 😄 soooo keep an eye out! I’m super excited to show the various projects I’ve spent the last few months working on~
