Ask the colonel about the Order's recent arrival into Xelorium. The colonel can unfortunately confirm a rumour that has been going around: members of the order have disappeared. All of those concerned were members who were affected by the 'dimensional illness', and all of them left the world of the twelve for Xelorium, a strange place controlled by Xelor himself. The Order entered Xelorium in order to find their members, but it was at the cost of a lot of strain on their portal generators. Major Qiu is looking for a solution, but unless something is done, the Order will not be able to continue their exploration of the divine dimensions. Propose you can be of help to begin [Zaap Master].
Enter the temple at [3,1] and speak with Amine- ask to meet the Master of Zaaps. Amine will ask you why you need to see him-respond honestly, it's to solve an important technomagical problem for the Dimensional Voyagers. Head to the Otomai Coastal Zaap to find the Master in the middle of repairs:
It seems the Xelor is getting harrassed by Coralators, so get rid of them if you want a chance to speak with her. The two Coralators are level 200, but only deal about 100 or so water damage in melee and range-it's an easy fight.
Once you're finished, quickly try to explain the problem the Order has with their portal generator. Luckily, the Master is intrigued by the machine itself, and will meet you at the Rocky Road Zaap. Speak to her again to gain her as a follower and lead her to Gizmond Quelyn in the Order's tower. (If you ever wanted a cute Xelor as a follower, now's your chance!) While the two of them get acquainted, bring a flask to Doctor B'boing for Gizmond(enter the portals to the left until you reach the laboratory).
Give B'boing the flask, who says that normally this would be Corporal Frange's responsibility, but she's disapeared. Sadly, the corporal was one of those who was afflicted by the dimensional illness. Her affliction was so dire, B'boing was unable to cure her. He believes that she left for Xelorium, like all the others. As the Doctor returns to his research for a cure, return to Gizmond.
When you get back the Master will have already left, as she seems to have thought of a solution. They will construct an 'eternal' battery, and while Orichor will still be necessary, the Order will need a lot less of it. Your help is needed for the construction, and you'll have to go somewhere very special to do it: Xelorium of course!
Start a Portal Hunt in the next room, then find the Order's Outpost in the new divine dimension(you do not need to find the portal yourself)
The Xelorium update addresses some key issues with the divine dimensions. Some specifics with portals and modifiers are changed. I will update the appropriate posts soon!
(This first quest is technically optional, but only available in summer!)
In the weeks following Enurado’s opening, members of the Order Errant, the inter-dimensional voyagers have fallen ill to an unknown malady. They’re prey to strong feelings of nostalgia, crying, staring into...
The City of Unspeakable Evil-Sneaking into Srambad Part 1
As she tells it, the one who hired the assassin was probably none other than Srambad's Matriarch, the Queen of Thieves herself. The regular members of the Order have a hard time dealing with the dishonest inhabitants of Srambad though, so the Explorancient is calling for adventurers like you to help. Explorancient will send you off to discretely meet with a certain rogue who has information on the Queen of Thieves, and gives you an Enutough Ingot for him as a sign of good faith(?).
You're directed to [1,0] in the amakna village. There isn't a rogue to be seen, but if you check behind the house in the top right corner...
You will find Vil Smisse himself in a hidden cave. Tell him you've come in the Explorancient's stead and give him the ingot. He'll tell you what he knows about the Queen of Thieves. According to him, she shouldn't be sitting on Srambad's throne, and he thinks she's too naive to actually be of divine descent. He knows of a weakness she has, sends you to see his cousin in Srambad who can tell you about it.
Return to Explorancient and give her an update. She will task you with finding this person, and have you search out the portal to Srambad. Note that you have to start a portal search, but you don't actually have to fully complete it, you can find one already open and go through that...
You might notice something new at the village zaap: a Krosmoglob! Update 2.19 to Dofus brings in the Divine Dimensions, and the Order Errant which will help you explore them!
"Exploration leads to experience, experience leads to knowledge, knowloedge leads to an understanding of the Krosmoz."
~Explorancient
The first new character you'll come upon is Sergent Zlatzom at [-22,-24]. Zlat has a proposition for adventurers like you who want to broaden their horizons. The Order Errant have recently decided to work with adventurers to explore far-off lands, So, what do you say, are you ready to set new foot on new soil?
If you are, you'll begin the quest [Enjoy Your Trip] which will teach you about the order of the Dimensional Travelers and their HQ. Once inside, introduce yourself to Colonel O'Whel and tell him Zlatzom sent you. Incredibly, the Order's mission is to set foot into the private domains of the Twelve themselves, the Divine Dimensions, in order to further their knowledge of the world. And these worlds are dangerous places indeed, so the Order place just as much importance in action as reflection and analysis. Looking you over, Colonel O'Whel sees you have potential to be an ally of the Order, and tells you to get approval from the guide, leader and founder of the order, Explorancient.
Present yourself to the unique green woman. Detecting in you something special, she'll ask you if you're ready to serve the Voyagers/Order in pursuit of knowledge. Say yes naturally, she doesn't need to know you're really just doing it for the Nidas set.. She then sends you back to Colonel O'Whel to begin your initiation.
The Colonel will start by giving you a bit of background information. The creation of the portals they use to access the Divine Dimensions is a very complex feat powered by a technomagical generator which runs on a material called 'Orichor'. They need a great amount of it to travel, and you and other adventurers are going to help provide them with it! He tells you to meet Kyper the Collecter(who is also in the room and in charge of holding the Tower's orichor) and then to report to Captain Gladis for your first mission.
Hystik will tell you that she can safely store orichor you find, and will gladly reward you for it(she can sell you things using the ore as currency). She also tells you how Orichor is a high-energy material, and only found in the Divine Dimensions, which is why it's a reward from the quests there.
Time's a wasting, so visit the next room by stepping into the glowing red Star Trek-esque transporter. Welcome to the Portal Research Room, where things start to get interesting. Speak to the woman with the hand that's on fire to complete [Enjoy Your Trip] and start your first mission: locate a portal to Enurado and meet with the outpost there. As the conversation finishes, you will begin the quest [The Entrance to Enurado].
Don't forget to pick up every quest you see here, you'll save yourself the trouble of having to exit and re-enter the portal multiple times.
(Update 2.23 Xelorium brought some changes to this page. Combat modifiers do not change when portals move.)
Unlike a regular treasure hunt however, there are two main differences. A portal hunt concludes on the same map for all those searching for it, because everyone on the server can use the same portal. On that note, the second difference is that a portal hunt can end prematurely even if you don't make any mistakes. This happens for two reasons: Portals last at most 24 hours before changing position, and can only accept people entering 128 times before moving. Once the count reaches 128 or the 24 hours are over, the portal hunt must start again.
(With update 2.23 modifiers are changed. They can, for the most part, be safely ignored, and are meant to only provide bonuses.
These modifiers change once the toughest boss of the dimension has been defeated, and rotate on a set list rather than being random.)
The divine dimensions are places that seem to defy understanding and surprise us in different ways. One distinction that sets them apart from the world of the Twelve are the combat modifiers or bonuses, which affect every single fight you'll have in a dimension. They can affect allies, enemies, or both, and are usually made to be balanced. If ignored, the bonus can make a fight too hard or impossible , but if properly taken advantage of, a bonus can make a fight much easier. The modifiers affect not just the starting enemies and monsters, but also any sort of summon or monster that joins the fight.
Here is a list of the bonuses that exist so far:
Common modifiers: these modifiers can come up in any dimension; some modifiers only appear in certain dimensions.
~Explosive Disappearance:
When an enemy dies it deals fire damage in a 2C AoE around it, equal to about 50% of its max HP(in the centre, so 40% next to it). This does less damage to its allies(about half). Only harms enemies
~Invigorating Pushes:
When an opponent receives pushback damage, once a turn, he heals allies near him.
~Power Cycle:
Enemies have 50% more HP. Allies deal 25% more damage every round starting round 2(round 3 they deal 50% more damage, round 4 they deal 75% more damage..). The damage bonus resets every 5 rounds.
~Long-Range Liaison:
When an opponent is attacked, 20% of the damage they receive are dealt to opponents located at more than 10 range from them.
~Incapacitating Invocations:
Damage dealt by non-static invocations remove one turn of status effects from opponents.
Enurado modifiers:
~Incapacitating Movement:
When an enemy is picked up, pushed, pulled or swap it gets -1turn to its buffs.
~Measured Distance(changed):
Opponents lose 1 MP when they are attacked in close combat, limited to -3mp. Allies suffer 20% less ranged damage.
~Hurtful Hindrances:
Opponents lose additional health points with each MP loss they suffer(based on current HP).
~Invigorating Solitude:
Each time an ally starts their turn, if they have no ally within 5 cells, they are healed by 10% of their vitality.
~Solidarity:
At the beginning of every turn, characters are healed depending on the number of allies within 3 cells of their position.
Srambad Modifiers:
~Low Blow(slight change):
Allies deal 25% extra damage using summons, bombs, glyphs, poisons and traps(indirect attacks)
~Evasion:
Melee/close combat attacks push enemies back by 3 cells.
~Berserker:
Allies with less than half HP at the start of their turn deal 33% more damage.
~Dangerous Game:
Allies place a trap underneath them at the start of each turn. This trap deals damage in a random element to enemies, and does not affect Allies.
~Larceny:
Allies' melee attacks(1 range) steal HP.
Xelorium Modifiers:
~Enemies lose HP when their AP is removed(based on current HP).
